I love this game :) The platforming feels great, the levels are unique and varied, and the sprinkle of bonus mechanics are a refreshing challenge. Plus this game has an incredible amount of content, especially with the recent addition of custom levels. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's a fan of precision platforming :)

I LOVE LOVE 3.

Mechanically, the game is simple: you walk and you jump. Optionally, you may place a checkpoint where ever you can safely respawn and stably stand. Optionally, you may also slow down time with a button press, and the factor of the time-slowing in question is open to customization. The latter two mechanics, however, are ultimately tools for study to prepare you for what LOVE 3 is really all about: achievements.

It is a relatively short piece of media if you play the game Any%: only playing LOVE 3 a singular time. However, the game comes bundled with each previous iteration and entry in the LOVE series. It also features a solid amount of achievements which are designed to incentivize replaying the base game, its previous entries, and all three consecutively multiple times. The game is basically begging you to practice to complete it sans mistake, though completionists who play this game do not have to worry about such a level of commitment, as there is no achievement for it. Completionists must, however, learn the game well enough to do things such as speedrun the game, complete the entire trilogy in fewer than 300 deaths, and complete each level in LOVE 3 without checkpoints.

The game boasts not only an excellent, groovy soundtrack, but also meticulous adorable hand-arranged 4-bit visual goodness for each and every level. With the exception of exactly two screens across the entire series, each and every level is, as well, fun to trek through and (in the case of LOVE 3 in particular) exciting to explore for secrets.

In summary, 50 reviews is criminally low. This game is great if you are one who likes to get a lot out of a little. The replay value is immense, the soundtrack is fulls of beeps, boops and bops,and the art style is simultaneously simple and detailed. I highly recommend playing this game if you like platformers.

LOVE 3 is the conclusion to the LOVE games by Fred Wood. Using a minimalist, 4-bit inspired visual style might deceive some this game to be boring or pretentious - it is quite the opposite. It consists of 25 challenging levels, kept fair through a checkpoint mechanic with the most banger music you could imagine.

But it gets even better! This entry of the LOVE series actually ctonains not only its original 25 leves, but also
- ALL 25 levels of the predecessor LOVE 2: kuso
- ALL 16 remastered levels from LOVE 1 which were available of LOVE 2: kuso
- ALL 16 original LOVE leveles PLUS a 17th extra level when playing the continuous game mode
- Even more levels to try and find

So if you've ever thought about ketting into the LOVE series, LOVE 3 is a great game to start, no matter how much you've played the other two.

One of the best platformers of all time with incredibly impressive pixel art, banger music, and really neat level design where each of the 25 levels has its own completely unique personality. This also has the 37 levels from the previous games which are nearly equally awesome. Highly recommended.

I remember playing the first Love back when it was a freeware game, and each release since then has built upon the solid foundations of that game. As with all the games in this series it's a simple, yet challenging game, with some pretty great music once again! If you were on the fence about getting any of the previous games, I'd recommend picking this up as it contains levels from the first 2 games, so pretty good value there. The new slowdown feature is pretty good, and most of the level mechanics are really cool too. The only mechanic I found a little annoying is the Helicopter because it can be quite hard to control.

Overall a pretty solid game, definitely worth the money if you like challenging platformers and with all the features it has like YOLO mode, Arcade mode and the ability to play levels from the previous games I'd definitely say it has solid replay value.

A great platforming game that can be as forgiving or as punishing as you would like it to be. It not only has new LOVE 3 content, but also contains all the stages from the first two games. It also has many modes and options as to how to go about playing. Want to get through the game fairly easily, place a ton of checkpoints in the unlimited lives mode. Want to make it tough as nails? Play through the YOLO mode and see if you can do it without dying.

LOVE and LOVE 2: Kuso are fantastic minimalist platformers that have been indie classics for a while now and I'll be blunt:

LOVE 3 has outdone it's predecessors in virtually every way.

LOVE 3 is a wonderful platformer, a very nice mix of challenge and minimalist atmosphere, with a great soundtrack. There are more elaborate secrets, the level designs are more varied, and the mechanics have been expanded without feeling overly complicated. As a bonus, you get LOVE and LOVE 2: Kuso, as well as remasters of the previous games all bundled into one, making this the definitive version of all 3 games.

Just pick it up.
