In Bridge Constructor werden Sie zum Ingenieur im Brückenbau. In 30 verschiedenen Leveln müssen Sie Brücken über tiefe Täler, Straßen oder Flüsse bauen. Im anschließenden Stress-Test wird dann geprüft, ob die Brücken auch der Belastung von Fahrzeugen stand halten.

Für die Konstruktionen stehen unterschiedlich teure Bauteile wie Holz, Stahl oder Seile zur Verfügung. Jedes Brückenelement hat physikalische Eigenschaften und die gesamte Konstruktion wird nach der Entwurfsphase direkt der Schwerkraft und anderen Belastungen ausgesetzt. Hier gilt es, die bestmögliche Brücke mit einem gegebenen Budget zu errichten. Teurere Bauteile liefern größere Stabilität, doch nicht immer reicht das Budget dafür.

Durch die individuelle Kombination der Bauteile gibt es für jede gestellte Aufgabe immer nahezu unendlich viele Lösungswege, die höchstens durch das begrenzte Budget limitiert werden. Kreativität und Ideenreichtum sind gefragt!

Gameplay
Im “Bridge Constructor” baut man…, äh, ja was nochmal? Achja, Brücken! Die Spielidee, in 2D eine Brücke zu planen und anschließend Autos darüberfahren zu lassen, ist defintiv nichts Neues. “Bridge Constructor” besitzt ebenfalls die Einschränkungen der vier beliebten Baumaterialen (Holz, Stahl, Drahtseil, Beton) und verfügt über relativ viele Level. Zusätzlich zu der Kampagne gibt es für Weihnachten, Ostern und Halloween mehrere Level und auch eine zweite Kampagne, in der man dann schiefe Brücken bauen muss. Während die Anfänge noch relativ leicht sind, wird das Spiel im Verlauf wesentlich schwerer und an manchen Brücken möchte man am liebsten wohl in den Betonpfeiler beißen.

Story
Nicht vorhanden. Außer du reimst dir eine gute Geschichte zusammen, warum man ausgerechnet dich Brücken bauen lässt. Witzig ist es auch, wenn du den praktischen Test machst und die Autos gerade noch die Brücke überqueren, die hinter ihm zusammenbricht. Level bestanden!

Grafik/Sound
Da sich es bei dem Spiel um einen Port von mobilen Geräten handelt, kann man nicht viel erwarten. Allerdings braucht man für die Spielidee auch nicht gerade eine grafische Sonderleistung…
Die Melodien sind wiederum sehr angenehm und unterstreichen das gemütliche Brückenbauen.

DLC
Ja, es gibt tatsächlich ein DLC. Dies sorgt dafür, dass wir Brücken in den Bergen bauen dürfen, die speziell für Züge konzipiert sind. Zwei Level des DLCs sind auch so spielbar und daher weiß ich nicht so recht, ob der DLC Preis mehr als einen Euro übersteigen sollte.

Fazit
„Bridge Constructor“ erfindet die Brücke nicht neu, macht aber solide Spaß. Den derzeitigen Preis von 10€ halte ich für so ein einfaches Spiel jedoch für überzogen. Wer sich gerne mal als Architekt versuchen will und das Spiel für 2-3 € bekommen kann, der wird hier eine gemütliche Abwechslung finden. Wer es ein wenig verrückter haben möchte, für den könnte an dieser Stelle Bridge Constructor Portal ja etwas sein!

Zu deinen Gunsten baue ich im echten Leben keine Brücken. Dafür schreibe ich aber Reviews. Schau doch mal in meiner Steamgruppe vorbei, wo ich meine Reviews als Kurator verfasse.

Dieses Spiel gab es kostenlos zu Bridge Constructor Portal dazu und bei Bridge Constructor Portal habe ich gerne den Vollpreis bezahlt, weil es ein echt schönes Spiel ist, aber dieses Spiel hier finde ich einfach nicht gut. Ich glaube, das habe ich schon mal vor Jahren aus der Computer Bild Spiele gespielt. Sicher auf irgendeine Art unterhaltsam, aber dafür würde ich nicht wirklich Geld ausgeben.

Au Backe, ich mag ja das Konzept solcher Spiele (vom Smartphone) aber dieses Game wirkt sehr zusammengeschustert. Grafisch und physisch nix. Wirkt alles sehr billig gemacht. Lasst die Finger davon uns schaut lieber ob die Konkurrenz es hinbekommt.

Ist einfach nur Scheiße und verbugt NICHT KAUFEN!!!!!!
Man bekommt es KOSTENLOS wenn man sich die Portal Version Kauft und die ist übrigens um einiges besser!

Bei Bridge Constructor kann man difinitiv eine menge Spaß haben und es gibt einige richtig lustige momente. Mir gefällt das Spiel gut und ich würde es weiter empfehlen. Als ich mir Bridge Constructor damals gekauft habe, hätte ich nicht damit gerechnet das es in der letzten schwierigkeits Stufe so krass wird.

Die wichtigsten Fakten zu dem Spiel:
Das Spiel ist das selbe wie dieses was fuer 20€ im Laden verkauft wird / wurde mit einigen aenderungen. Man bekommt hier die 40 Standard Missionen + ein DLC was es noch einmal in sich hat und vor allem wo es sich nur dafuer lohnt die paar € auszugeben. Dazu kommt, dass man nach einer Zeit nicht nur die normalen Autos und LKWs auf den Bruecken fahren lassen kann, sondern nun auch extra schwere Tank Trucks die das ganze Koennen von einem abverlangen!
Die Spielzeit wird hier, wenn man nur alle Bruecken mit LKWs macht, etwa bei 10 Stunden liegen. Mit Tank Trucks bestimmt noch einmal mindesten das doppelte.
Leider fehlt mir hier weiterhin die Funktion eines Sandkastens wo man einfach eine Bruecke bauen kann wie man selber mal moechte. Zudem erzeugt die Unity Engine wieder schreckliche Bugs wo man auch mal Missionen durch Zufall gewinnen kann (je mehr das Spiel ruckelt, desto groeßere Vorteile hat man).

Ich mag einfach solche Spiele. Die sind so einfach gehalten wie ein Super Mario und wirklich jeder kann es spielen, da es keine Vorkenntnisse braucht. Vor allem hat solch ein Spiel sowas an sich, dass man immer mal das Spiel wieder rauskramt und man eine Bruecke noch einmal anders loesen mochte. Ein zeitloses Spiel, wo letztendlich aber ein Preis von 5€ auch gereicht haette.

The physics in this game is terrible. Several levels require you to create theoretically unstable structures to beat them. Not to mention poor UI and lack of QoL settings. Poly Bridge is far superior in every aspect and worth the dollars.

Bridge Constructor is a game about constructing bridges. It's not as complex or as good looking as Poly Bridge, which came out later, but it's also not as finicky, so I still prefer this one.

I really enjoy building and construction games, but I've not never uninstalled a games as fast as this one ever. The 1.6 hours playtime is misleading because I got up and left for maybe an hour to get food and left it running...

The interface is designed as a mobile game, and it's just not engaging at all.

This game is so relaxing and so does the soundtrack. It'll be a perfect fit for Saturday morning short gaming session.
In the other hand, this game will also make you scratch your head repeatedly.

Overall, it's a fun game to simulate what kind of contractor your government hire to build a 'sturdy' bridge.

Remember that scene from Margin Call in which Stanley Tucci calculates how many hours of human life he saved by building a bridge in Ohio?

My career in Bridge Constructor is basically that, but the complete opposite. I've not only lost 22 hours of my life, I've also blown up about 37,000 cars, trucks, and tanker trunks.

I've made peace with it.

Kind of a Meh! game, but dirt cheap. The physics are passable and the mechanics are easy to understand but makes you use your brain. Fun little game to waste time on.

ho giusto finito solo il primo mondo , mi è bastato
è un simulatore non realistico per la costruzione di ponti con poche possibilità , quello che conta in questo gioco è il giusto posizionamento delle travi in legno e utilizzare il meno possibile il ferro ed il calcestruzzo per risparmiare sui costi , tanto la sicurezza degli automobilisti è opzionale .

il primo livello del secondo mondo Tiltin north è abbastanza stressante e noiso ,si hanno bloccati ancora i materiali speciali come i cavi in acciaio ...

Do il voto posito 5,5/10 solo perchè lo ricevuto free ed alcuni livelli sono stati interessanti ed ho dovuto ripassare un pò di geometria e fisica sulla distribuzione della forza e del peso .

is an unrealistic simulator for bridge construction with few possibilities, what matters in this game is the right positioning of the wooden beams and using as little iron and concrete as possible to save costs, so much the safety of motorists is optional .

the first level of the second world Tiltin north is quite stressful and boring, special materials such as steel cables are still blocked ...

I give the positive rating 5.5 / 10 only because I received it free and some levels were interesting and I had to review some geometry and physics on the distribution of force and weight.

I've played all of the Bridge Constructor games parts, and i find this one to be the hardest, but not sure if it was the bridges or the insane physics.

the main continent was bridge designs, depending on what supplies you were granted.

I Bought in a bundle. Played all parts and this one is the best. I think you will find it to be a good game. the price will depend on your region but wait for a sale,

Missing textures make it extremely difficult to see what you're doing. Several levels have blank, pink areas below the plane of the bridge, requiring you to guess what's below or search for screenshots. Unacceptable and just plain shitty.

There is a real-time stress analysis feature that turns the portions of your bridge bright red if they are under undue pressure, allowing you to easily spot your bridge's Achilles heel, or in my case, Achilles heel, elbow, wrist, femur, ribcage and spine...

Not bad but not good either. The hard cap on cash is very limiting and doesn't allow you to brute force a level if you're stuck by just overdesigning it, which means you have to look up the solution and copy it which is monotonous and doesn't feel as fun. There's definitely other bridge builder games out there, I remember playing a few bridge builder flash games for free that were better than this.

this is essentially a mobile game ported to pc.
i find the controls unsuitable for pc play, i can never get wood/road pieces to go where i want them to due to this game locking you either to a ridiculously rough grid or a ridiculously rough grid, wood pieces are roads when you want them to be wood or wood when you want them to be roads and only the wheels of cars have collisions causing me to lose levels i would otherwise have beaten with a collapsed bridge. and trust me, you'd rather be done with the levels than tweaking the bridge to not break.
the level design is incredibly lazy, the entire game can be beaten with three bridge designs and within 2 hours (yes, i beat the game in this time)
if you don't want to buy poly bridge, at least save yourself some dignity and buy bridge contructor portal.

It's fine. This game is totally fine, and if you like bridge builders, you can have a good time with it. No frills, no spills, it's adequate. I just can't recommend it because there are better bridge-building games out there, plain and simple. Maybe if you've played the others and you're still thirsty for more bridging? Like I said, it's fine.

Very fun bridge builder game, with one major downfall. A lot of the levels in this game require inventive thinking and lots of trial and error, which can both be fun. But at a certain point your bridges need to withstand such a heavy payload that they are no longer that, but instead most people will realistically need to be looking up guides on the internet for specific builds to copy over. This isn't the case for all levels, but it certainly is for a lot. What I'm saying is quite a few of these levels will get so difficult, that there are really two or three very specific ways to complete them at most, which eliminates a lot of personal creativity and fun to be honest.

At least this was all my experience. Take this review with a grain of salt, but definitely expect this game to be something along these lines. I wanted to recommend this game, and very nearly did, but in the end the guide-seeking and build-copying just outweighed the fun for me by a little bit. If you don't care for looking up a few guides however, or if you believe you can handle it yourself without it, then go pick this game up! Especially on sale, Bridge Constructor can really be worth it otherwise.

This game takes bridge construction to another level, down a level.

In almost every level there is only one way to build the bridge. The physics are messy. The graphics are outdated.

If you are looking for a bridge construction simulator, get Poly Bridge or Bridge Constructor Portal. They are cheaper and will give you what you paid for.
