Nur du kannst der Menschheit helfen diese Katastrophe zu überdauern, indem du deine Gruppe Überlebender auf einen Pfad der Wiedergutmachung führst. Sammle Ressourcen, entdecke verlorene Technologien wieder, und erhalte den Frieden zwischen unterschiedlichen Fraktionen aufrecht, während du versuchst, die Gesellschaft wieder aufzubauen.

Erkunden und Erobern
Die Welt, wie wir sie kennen, ist nur noch eine blasse Erinnerung. An ihre Stelle sind Inseln, Sümpfe und isolierte Gruppen Überlebender getreten. Nutze die knappen Ressourcen, um die Welt Insel für Insel zu erkunden. Hilf jenen, die deine Hilfe wollen, und beseitige die, die deine Vision der Zukunft nicht teilen.

Vergrößere deine Kolonie
Zu einer Stadt gehören mehr als nur Menschen. Nahrung, Unterkunft, Wasser, Gesundheitsvorsorge – die Liste ist lang und vielfältig. Technologien müssen anhand eines verzweigten Tech-Baums erforscht, Gebäude aufgerüstet und Spezialisten ausgebildet werden. Es liegt an dir, all diese Bedürfnisse zu erfüllen – eine Aufgabe, die durch begrenzte Ressourcen, begrenzten Platz und begrenzte Arbeitskraft erschwert wird.

Du bist das Gesetz
Eine Gesellschaft ist immer nur so gut wie die Gesetze, die sie formt. Es liegt an dir, Regeln aufzustellen. Läutest du ein utopisches Zeitalter der Gleichheit ein? Oder schreitest du mit einer wohlwollenden Diktatur in die Zukunft? Nicht jede Gruppe teilt deine Vision, und deine Entscheidungen können einen tiefgreifenden Einfluss auf die Zukunft deiner Siedlung haben. Eine vereinte Gesellschaft ist produktiver als eine im Streit entzweite. Es liegt an dir, die Entwicklung deiner Gesetze zu bestimmen und zu entscheiden, welchen Weg du auf dem Gesetzesbaum einschlagen willst.Aber wie bei allen Dingen im Leben gibt es immer Konsequenzen.

Ruhiges, nicht alltägliches Aufbauspiel mit vielen Entscheidungen. Diese beeinträchtigen das nachhaltig.

Overall this is a good game you can finish over the weekend. It is interesting and a bit challenging to learn the mechanics at the beginning, like how to get paper or the people not to kill you. But at some point it gets easy. It is not endless as rubble is limited.

crop seed variety, hope this comes with an update and DLC in the future
option to make roads and cars (any vehicles)
more exploration units
mines to make materials non-exhaustible
animals e.g. duck, pigeon breeding
more options for old building restoration

I really wanted to like this game. I love survivor city builders, I love the theme and idea behind it. However, ultimately I can't recommend it. FOR NOW. Give it some time, they might iron out the issues. There are several major bugs that need to be fixed, mentioned on the discussion forums. There are also several small but still irritating bugs that happen randomly. Game might be out of Early Access, but it feels like it needs to go back for a bit longer.

I´ve been playing for some time and grown a nice large settlement. Now, whenever I´m trying to save, the game crashes to desktop without saving. So, since I cannot save anymore, the game has become completely useless. This is a game-breaking and very severe bug. I am surprised that the issues with the game crashing upon saving have apparently not been fixed although the game is on the market for quite some time now. Very disappointing!

This game is not fit for purpose. It lets you play ok for a few hours and as soon as your map gets a bit bigger it crashes constantly. I had hoped that the recent patch had fixed it, so despite all the reviews warning about it, I gave it a chance. I wish I hadn't. It crashes while you play, it crashes when you save, it seems totally random. Steer clear.

Despite the mixed reviews i gave it a shot. I was glad a took a chance on this one. It reminds me of Frostpunk and the art and text were very captivating. The management between the clans is an interesting mechanic added in the game

This is game is beautiful and fun. Other reviews have it as very similar to Frostpunk, and I agree (which is great in my opinion.) However, I can't really recommend the game because of how often it crashes and loses all progress, without any noticeable reason as to why. It is incredibly frustrating, especially in a game where it can be very detailed with what you're doing from moment to moment.

Even after the promised big update and for a couple of hotfixes and it's just as bad as it was. The specific issues regarding pathfinding camps and shacks not upgrading etc. do appear to be fixed, but each of these were either very annoying or completely halted all progress as they came up, and now that they shouldn't be an issue, there's still the crashing. So frustrating. I should be rage quitting a game like this because of the challenges, not because I just lost another 30 minutes of progress. (And regularly saving doesn't help, because oftentimes that's what triggers the crash). So disappointing.

Definitely worth a play if you like survival/town sims with a story.

Pros:
+ Great audio. Personally, I normally don’t care for sound work but its worth a compliment in this game.
+ Visually thought out. Good art and everything comes together.
+ Fresh take on colony challenges.
+ Pleasantly consistent resource management that feels different to make this game feel its own version and not a knock of or iteration.
+ Meaty content. This is not something that can be sprint finished within 10 hours on a first play through.

Cons:
- due to isolating colonies being a core mechanic it can get very tedious
- I prefer to max out everything so it feels punishing to outright reject a new faction (because their moronic).

Worth a play through at least once and looks like the devs aren’t done with growing the content just yet which is a pleasant addition.
