!nsane huldigt dem Kultspiel „Logical“ aus den guten alten Amiga-Zeiten. Hier dreht sich alles um Kugeln und Drehschlösser. Kugeln müssen passend angeordnet werden, um das Schloss zu knacken. Was sich anfangs trivial anhört, erweist sich nach wenigen Minuten als einzigartig-kniffliges Spielprinzip.

Sammle je vier gleichfarbige Kugeln in einem Drehschloss und lass sie explodieren. Um ein Level zu meistern, muss jedes Schloss zumindest einmal geknackt werden. Mit jedem Level kommen neue Elemente wie Ampeln, Einbahnstraßen und Farbwechsler hinzu und auch auf die schwarzen, unzerstörbaren Kugeln muss geachtet werden!

!nsane bietet 50 spannende Level, die die grauen Zellen mal so richtig fordern. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt dabei stetig. Die ersten Level sind noch einfach, doch sehr schnell wird !nsane zu einem richtigen Rätselhammer mit Suchtfaktor!

Spaßiges kurzweiliges Game für Zwischendurch. Es ist nicht schwer zu kapieren und wird nach und nach kniffliger. Es gibt eine automatische Speicherung und Errungenschaften. Das Spiel hat geringe Systemanforderungen und ist schnell runtergeladen. Insgesamt ok, nur der Preis ist etwas zu hoch. Falls Ihr Interesse habt, wartet ab und kauf im Sale. Wenn Ihrs für die Hälfte kriegen könnt, dann habt Ihr ne gute Preis/Leistung.

Ein Simples Spielprinzip mit steigendem Schwierigkeitsgrad. Ich Persönlich mag solche Spiele und gebe daher auch eine Empfehlung. Natürlich ist es eher etwas für zwischendurch, zum Abschalten. Aber genau dafür mag ich es.
Das spiel erklärt sich eigentlich von selbst, wenn man den Einführungssatz gelesen hat. Ein bissel Strategie, ein bissel übersicht und schon klappt das ganze. Ein Review nach so kurzer Zeit? Ja, weil ich solche spiele nutze wenn ich meine Gedanken Ordnen muss ;)

Hallöschen meine lieben,

Ich habe das Game nun ein bisschen gespielt und muss sagen, dass ich das bis jetzt wirklich gut finde!

Ich persönlich finde die Musik sehr gut und unterhaltsam. Diese passt auch irgendwie zum Knobeln diese teils mystische Musik.
Das knobeln selber hatte ich wirklich schnell raus, da braucht man jetzt nicht unbedingt ein Tutorial um das zu verstehen, was ich damit sagen möchte das was als Erklärung geschrieben wurde, reicht vollkommen aus :D Der Rest ist Learning by doing und macht auch nen Teil Spielspaß aus^^

Pro:

- Stimmungsvolle Musik
- Knoblige Aufgaben
- Bleibt nicht gleich sondern wird auch schwerer
- Gut für zwischen druch mal zu spielen
- Speichert nach jedem geschafftem Level
- Man kann jederzeit die Level laden und gegebenen Falls noch mal spielen

Das einzige was ich mir eventuell gewünscht hätte, wäre ein anderes Titelbildoverlay, allerdings finde ich das jetzt nicht soo dramatisch ;P

Ich finde das Spiel richtig gut :-) Hab das von den Entwickern bekommen und bin sehr begeistert das man mal seinen Kopf anstrengen muss.

I enjoy playing puzzle games, but this one isn't interesting enough for me. I like the concept of the game, it's simple and the layout is quite oldschool, which I actually like. But like other reviews said too, it's very slow. The dificulty increases greatly and quickly, which is nice and challenging, but honestly, it takes forever to complete a level, whether you find it difficult or not,
because the balls move so darn slow. I honestly like the concept, but this game fails to keep me interested in playing.

First off, the achievements are broken and they don't seem interested in fixing it. Second I love puzzle games but this is just tedious. It's so slow that I can passively play while watching a movie, not really a bad thing, but it is exceptionally slow.

In brief Insane is a Logical remake that's not quite there.

Before I get into why I don't recommend Insane I need to talk about Logical. I first played it on the C64 way back in the day. I really liked three things about: it's puzzle nature, the frenetic action and the musc. Time passed and I moved on from my C64 to a PC and played the DOS port of logical. It lost something in translation, the music most notably but also the mouse controls never really felt as good as the C64's weird joystick scheme.

Insane, unfortunately, lost something even further in translation. It's by far the prettiest Logical I've seen and the music is servicable (not as memorable as the strange sad upbeat music of the original). But...

The problem lies with the controls and the gameplay speed. The locks turn very, very slowly. The Commodore version had exactly one frame of animation on the diagonal. Those locks could be spun fast, literally about 10 to 15 quarter revolutions a second. And it was necessary to keep the balls in play as they also rolled around quite quickly.

In insane the balls roll slowly but relatively faster than the locks spin leading to many unintentional bounces and missed catches.

This is further exacebated by the mouse controls. Both the DOS and Amiga versions used a two button scheme. One button to throw the ball and the other to twist the lock. Insane uses one button to do both, miss clicking is a constant and annoying problem as there are no cues as to whether the mouse is over the lock or a ball.

Add a little pause to the end of the rotation cycle during which the lock can't be clicked and you have only a slow puzzle game that rarely executes the expected actions. I hate to write this because I loved Logical and have played many remakes of it over the years; and collected quite a lot of remixes of it's music.

Insane lacks the speed, the varied backgrounds, the tight controls and even the number of levels of the original. I didn't enjoy it and it's not a game I can recommend. Sadness.
