Unter Linux eine grauenhafte Performance!
Die Linux Version dieses Spiels läuft gerade zu lächerlich schlecht. Die native Linux Version ruckelt stark, hängt gelegentlich für eine Sekunde und hat selbst auf höchsten Einstellungen eine stark flimmernde Grafik.
Ich habe zwischenzeitlich das Spiel über Proton installiert: Und siehe da, es lief besser, als die Linux Version! Ich halte es für eine unfassbare Frechheit, so eine unspielbare Version zu verkaufen.

Nach über 24 Spielstunden MXGP 3 kann ich sagen das dieses Spiel echt cool ist, da es ein geiles feeling verleiht und eine realistische Rennatmosphäre verleiht wo einem so schnell nicht Langweilig werden kann. Die Rennen gestalten sich als sehr spannend :)

Hier die Positiven und Negativen dinge :)

Positiv :
- Große Kartenauswahl
- gute KI ( Kleine Bugs )
- schöne Grafik
- eine große auswahl an Motocross Maschinen und Tuning teilen.
- kleine Erweiterungen durch DLC´s
-Realistisch einstellbare Rennen bzw Rennwochenenden

Negativ :
- Trotz der relativ guten KI gibt es manchmal echt verbuggte Situationen durch das Fahrverhalten der KI, welches somit schnell mal sehr nerven kann.

Aber trotzdem
Kleinere schwierigkeiten sind nie wegzudenken, jedoch macht das Spiel echt mega viel Spaß, vorallem durch das Feeling.

Das Spiel gefällt mir sehr gut: Die Strecken sehen schön aus, die Karriere wurde schön gestaltet, scrubs bringen nun was und die Grafik sieht einfach nur toll aus. Ein MUSS für jeden Fan!

Nach dem Reinfall von Teil 2 (MXGP2) wieder ein recht gutes MX Spiel !
Zwar einfach gehalten und der Sprung in der Grafikqualität ist auch eher mau, aber dafür ist die Steuerung und das Fahrverhalten wieder sehr gut gelungen. Und das ist gegenüber Teil2 ein riesen Fortschritt.
Auf jeden Fall im Sale eine Empfehlung wert !

Bis jetzt der beste Teil der MXGP Reihe!
Mit Tastatur das Spiel zu fahren ist jetzt endlich leicht!
Also mit Tastatur zu fahren ist bei mir auf Platz 1: MXGP3, Platz 2: MXGP 1 und auf Platz 3: MXGP2!
Das Spiel ist auch eins meiner Lieblingsspiele es macht einfach so Spaß zu fahren also ich würde es an eurer Stelle kaufen!
Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!

Also mir persönlich fehlt irgendwie die Motivation hier weiterzuspielen. Ich habe jetzt 1h gespielt und will nicht sagen, daß es überhaupt keinen Spaß machte, aber ich bezweifel stark das ich noch sonderlich viel mehr Zeit in dieses Spiel investieren werde. Hab mir da irgendwie was anderes drunter vorgestellt.

Man klickt sich im Prinzip einfach nur von Rennen zu Rennen, es kommt aber keine Grand Prix Stimmung auf. Ich habe noch nicht mal das Gefühl überhaupt an irgend einem Grand Prix teilzunehmen. Da ist kein Race Kalender, es gibt keine Streckenpräsentationen, kein Kommentator oder irgendwas um die Atmosphäre eines Grand Prixs zu transportieren. Ich hatte noch nicht mal das Gefühl das es überhaupt notwendig sei sein Bike speziell auf die Strecke oder irgendwas anzupassen, außer das es dadurch noch einfach wird zu gewinnen?

Die Fahrerkarriere scheint sich auch nur darauf zu beschränken, daß man von seinem Teammanger die Vorgabe bekommt bestimmte Platzierungen zu erreichen oder sich vor bestimmten Gegnern zu platzieren. Motocross gilt doch eigentlich als gefährlicher Sport, sowas wie Verletzungen oder irgendwas fehlt wohl gänzlich. Oder Interviews nach einem Rennen oder irgendwas das das weitere Renngeschehen beeinflussen könnte... nichts! Es gibt noch nicht mal eine Siegerehrung nach einem Rennen?

Die Strecken sind schön gestaltet und es ist viel los auf der Piste und drum herum, aber weder ist die Grafik sonderlich berauschend noch das Fahrgefühl. Letzteres ist mir persönlich auch viel zu Arcade lastig. Da landet man einfach mal auf dem Kopf eines Konkurrenten oder fährt durch sie hindurch, ballert gegen irgendwelchen Banden oder Absperrungen und landet trotzdem auf der Piste als wäre nichts gewesen. Ich hab vorher mal die MXGP2 Demo angezockt, da bin ich permanent nur auf dem Hintern gelandet, hier komm ich mir im Vergleich dazu vor als würde ich seit Jahren nichts anderes spielen.

Was halt wie bei allen Milestone Motorrad Titeln wirklich schön anzuschauen ist sind die Bikes, hier in dem Game auch ganz speziell zusätzlich noch die Outfits vieler namenhafter Hersteller. Aber das ist meiner Meinung nach auch das einzige wirkliche Highlight in diesem Spiel.

Wie gesagt, ich habe nur 1h investiert, wahrscheinlich auch noch gar nicht alles entdeckt und gesehen, aber wenn mir doch jetzt schon die Motivation fehlt weiterzuspielen, dann waren 50 Euro eine Fehlinvestition. Werde daher versuchen mir das Spiel zurückerstatten zu lassen.

Ach ja und das Spiel ist ganz klar ein Konsolenspiel, das merkt man von der Menüführung bis hin zur Steuerung, würde es daher eigentlich auch wenn dann nur für Konsole empfehlen.

MXGP3 ist wirklich gut gelungen und macht richtig Laune

Pro:
Gute Grafik
bei Regen fährt es sich anders, als wenn es trocken ist
viele Teile zum Gestalten seines Bikes
viele im MP unterwegs
es bilden sich Spurrillen, z.B. in den Innenkurven, die man als Anlieger nach ein paar Runden nehmen kann

Contra:
es ist mit 50€ etwas sehr teuer, 40€ währen eher angebracht finde ich

Fazit:
Sehr gutes Spiel, bestes MX spiel, das ich bis jetzt gespielt habe, jedoch etwas teuer. Es lohnt sich aber und macht Online viel Spaß mit Freunden, aber auch Ofline toll.

Klare zielgruppe sind 10 bis 14 jährige die zwischen schulschluss und mittag essen bei der oma noch ein halbes stündchen zeit haben irgend ein rennspiel rein zu hauen. für die, aber auch nur für die ist es ausreichend.

für motocrosser ist das absolut das falsche spiel. im pinzip braucht man auch nicht bremsen weil der zuscherzaun ein willkommener anlieger ist. Vor sprüngen das gas wegnehmen um im double oder triple nicht in den gegenhang zu knallen? wozu? stürtzen tut man eh nicht. also gas weiter offen lassen

in der luft scheint man quasi stehen zu bleiben und runterzufallen wie ein stein bis man dann aufkommt und mit der gleichen geschwindigkeit weiterfährt wie man abgesprungen ist. völlig verwirrend.

geschwindigkeiten sind ohnehin jenseits von gut und böse und man erreicht nahezu auf jeder stecke mit jeder wetterbedingung 100 kmh mit denen es dann natürlich voll über den sprung geht.

bremsen ist genauso lächerlich.... von 100kmh auf null in etwa einer sekunde...... physik lässt grüßen milestone.... normalerweise alle leute die an dem game beteiligt sind fristlos entlassen

wenn ich nicht geld dafür bezahlt hätte wäre es fast zum lachen aber so. ist es einfach nur sehr sehr ärgerlich und zugleich peinlich für milestone so ein mist abzuliefern. und schade das ich mir das game nicht direkt bei steam gekauft habe sonst könnte ich es zurück geben...

Graphics keep flickering everywhere. Rain vanishes mysteriously. The anti-aliasing is just a broken blur filter that makes the game unplayable. Texture sampling looks grainy while still causing the computer to lagg from poor optimization. Background tasks are not even threaded, so once in a while the game freezes for a second while working on something heavy.

The AI sometimes let all opponents turn straight into the same wall if you restart the race at the wrong time. Instead of feeling that you are competing against good opponents, they are like vultures waiting for you to crash due to the buggy physics.

The mud does not act like mud at all. You often fall over because colliding with the mud is like hitting a hard stone surface with ripples. No viscous friction. No depth tolerance for gripping. No smooth buoyancy while sliding over the mud. Just a hard dry surface that gets reshaped by your wheel as a purely visual effect after you have already fallen over from the buggy physics.

All tracks look the same. No story. No overview of progress other than a level that keeps going up like a grinding mobile game. Just one race after another where you decide how many laps they should do.

Just a horribly broken and boring game.

Awesome game to just relax and chill out on, the gameplay is excellent and the bikes are really cool. the single player career mode is lots of fun. Great game.

If you're looking for a fun game, and you know Motocross, this is definitely a fun game to get on sale,
ESPECIALLY IF YOU USE A CONTROLLER _ |right analog for leaning{}{x}|
This game is practically, only single player, for the fun of the experience, as multiplayer is dead, or on private. There are multiplayer Champions, MxOn or Grand Prix, but nobody was active 13:14PM in a GMT+2 day, [Saturday - & after recent sale]

I didn't test everything yet, but I am looking for fun racing games and this is one of them!
Warning: AI can be dodgy. I won the holeshot one race, my mental clock counted down the exact nanosecond of the gate going down, and I was so far away, that the AI became ghosts, stuck in one of the race's corners, and they all started respawning whenever I got there. Then I looked only my track marks were in the game.

other driver's tracking heavily affects your race, even if you're first, their behaviour can manipulate your race-ends, :) so that's a good one for realism. You don't really make any deep trenches though, but on rainy days, you can still lean pretty deep, and fail :D Watch that analog leaning ,

The extra difficulty experience for earning in-game currency is with me on 205% Easy Ai ;/ lol and they are still teaching me stuff. They scrub easily, I should have used tutorial by now, but two hours in, it's super fun.,

+FIRST PERSON VIEW IS GORGEOUS :) if you can drive well, but it's good to also see incoming corners from further away, as FOV is not something you can alter in this game.

Started her up, and did 6 time trial laps on one circuit to come tell you how much better this is compared to Monster Supercross!! I expected a crash after SX's behaviour on the same system?

+ Visually customizing - I will still see this when I get there,
+Name brands you know,
+Ruts in the sand, where you drive, determines you future on the track too, so if you create bad lines, you will need to be careful when you pass there again
AI testing still to be done
+Looks pretty + Runs fluid , -
+HDD [not SSD] Performance is superb,
Graphics target FPS 90: FXAA off, anistropic x16, Default settings were not optimized,/ or tested by game engine

Magnificent game compared to the crashing supercross.

This review is currently in a state to change, if the game performs badly [16 minutes is close to nothing]

But for what it's worth, i've gotten 3x as much fun from this package already just testing one bike than doing Ryan DUNGey's opening [forced race] in Supercross! HA MILESTONE ACHIEVED :P [3 crashes attempting this]

First crash after 109 Minutes, Due most likely to putting super sampling and AA on during the middle session of a game,

The most balanced physic in the series. Not as hard and annoying as MXGP 2 and not as simple as MXGP 2019. It's not really fluid, but it's not really stiff either.

But the graphic.. OMG, I feel like like this the worst in the series. Overly dark, small riders on gameplay, blurry, too much bloom.

Overall, I feel like this is the more enjoyable game in this series for the long run.

Yeah it was cheap but I'm still going to warn others. The graphics are poor and that's not so bad alone but the physics are terrible. Like the physics just don't make any sense and in a way that makes it hard to play and generally unpleasant.

Niche is an understatement.

I've played this series a bit out of order, so I'm in a relatively unique position to compare it to itself. MXGP3 is probably the peak in the series. Giving both a realistic modern feel that yet remains approachable.

Physics.
MXGP3 seems more forgiving than PRO. The physics are pretty good. The differences between hard compacted dirt and muddy soppy wet muck is quite noticeable. However, track degradation is mostly cosmetic. While the ruts created from the bikes persist through the race, you're able to smash through most corner ruts as if they aren't there. Like you're creating a new one every time you arrive. Scrubbing seems less effective than simply monitoring your throttle in order to hit ramps and declines appropriately — that is to say that scrubbing seems to have little effect at all. I think PRO does this better.

Career mode is mostly the same, you'll get sponsorships which will get you team objectives applied to the races. Finishing in certain spots or getting a holeshot, for example. Difficulty options are largely the same as well. AI, joint brakes, how much the AI controls shifting the rider weight, etc. These will net you more MX credits which allow you more customization of the bikes you own and your rider.

The compound is also available to free ride and practice.

THE GIST:
You'd likely not going to go wrong getting MXGP3 or MXGP Pro, MXGP 1 feels a bit dated, but that might be exactly what you're looking for. I've not played MXGP2 but given the sheer number of these games conflated with how similar they are, I feel it's a moot point. The reason I'd suggest MXGP3 over PRO is simply because PRO is slightly less forgiving. But, that's really contingent on what you're looking for.

The jump to the Unreal Engine was a smart move for Milestone. The game looks and plays better. The dirt, sand and mud all look better and the tracks deform as you ride over them more and more making ruts that effect the best racing line You can adjust the handling to suit your style of racing. You can use manual shifting, manual weight distribution and select from helmet cam or 2 follow cams. The bikes are weak sounding, like all milestone motorcycle games but I think this is the best MX racing game so far.

Hands down the best game milestone has released, the cornering physics and terrain deformation are 100x better than the past 4 titles. Which is flat out shameful. Successfully burnt over 100 bucks striving for a better mx game, when this is probably the best one you can get aside from playing mx sim.
