Prinzipiell cooles Spiel, wurde vorm Release aber offensichtlich schon am Nachfolger gearbeitet somit sind Teile im Spiel vorhanden aber ohne jegliche Funktion. Schade.

Für mich ist dieses Spiel Geldverschwendung. Es lässt sich anscheinend nur über die Tastatur steuern, und das extrem schlecht: Motorrad fährt mit Vollgas oder bremst voll, es kippt voll nach links oder voll nach rechts - und man landet unwillkürlich nach einigen Metern an einer Wand oder Leitplanke.
Die Grafik scheint ganz schön zu sein. Da ich das Spiel aber nach ein paar Versuchen, es überhaupt spielen zu können, erfolglos und lustlos wieder de-installiert habe, kann ich das eigentlich auch nicht beurteilen.
Vielleicht habe ich ja nur Pech gehabt und mein Controller wurde nicht erkannt. Dies wäre dann allerdings das erste Spiel...
Und dass man das Spiel offenbar nur über Alt-F4 beenden kann hinterlässt bei mir einen unfertigen Eindruck. Sieht alles stark nach Alpha-Stadium aus.

Kurzer Review nach über 2 Stunden:
Ich hätte nicht gedacht, das Ride 2 so viel Spaß macht.
Hatte immer bedenken, das mir die Kameraperspektive nicht zusagt.
Mein letztes Motorradrennspiel was ich mochte war MotoGP 07 (2007).
Da ging die Kameraperspektive immer so richtig schön mit in die Kurven.
Was ich danach immer mal probierte, gefiel mir nicht. Die Kameraperspektive gab es leider nie wieder.

Ride 2 hat so eine Kameraperspektive zwar nicht, läßt sich aber dennoch super fahren.
Die Steuerung ist sehr gut.
Was ich absolut nicht gedacht hätte: Ich komme sogar mit der Cockpitperspektive klar.
Die ist bei Motorrädern ja doch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig in Motorrad-Rennspielen.
Ist zwar komisch erstmal; habe mich aber daran gewöhnt, u. das Motorrad fahren macht nun richtig Laune.
Ride 2 kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Im Sale kann man bei dem Titel nicht viel falsch machen.
Zur Not könnt Ihr es ja bei Nichtgefallen wieder zurück geben.

Die Anzahl an Strecken u. Motorrädern ist recht ordentlich. Es gibt GP-Strecken, aber auch Strecken durch schöne Landschaften.
In der Karriere fängt man erst mal mit langsameren Motorrädern an, was auch gut ist, um sich an die Steuerung zu gewöhnen.

Ein VR-Modus wäre genial. Mit dem Oberkörper in die Kurven legen. :-) Machbar wäre das sicherlich :-)

Also ich finde das Spiel Klasse. Ich fahre selbst Motorrad und kann mich über das Spiel nicht beschweren, es hat sich einiges getan gegenüber Ride 1 aber hier und da könnten noch Veränderungen statt finden.

Positiv: - Viele Bikes, Tuning, Verbessertes Handling gegenüber Ride 1, bessere Sounds, Supermoto, mehr Strecken als
Ride 1

Negativ:- auf manchen Strecken gibt es Starke lags, es werden leider nicht die Bikes als DLC kommen die sich die Fan
gemeinschaft wünscht, Supermoto Sounds könnten besser und realistischer sein, kein Dirt part bei Supermoto,
könnte mehr Strecken geben, Reifen Abnutzung sowie Schäden gibt es nicht ( nur Optische Kratzer gibt es)

Aufjedenfall ein sehr gutes Motorrad Rennspiel was Simulations Ähnlich ist. Alle die es Negativ bewerten, sind selbst wahrscheinlich nie Motorrad gefahren und denken sie hätten Ansatzweise eine Ahnung und können dieses Spiel bewerten.

RIDE 2

Ride 2 ist ein gelungenes Motorradrennspiel, was einen Enthusiasten definitiv an den Bildschirm fesseln wird.
Es gibt unzählige Motorräder, viele Tuningmöglichkeiten, etliche Free-DLC's und eine große Auswahl an Rennorten.
Die Physik ist sehr realistisch. Das Fahrverhalten ist nachvollziehbar und auf schwierigster Stufe werden kleinste Fahrfehler direkt hart bestraft. Aber nichts ist dann vergebens dank netter Rückspulfunktion. Diese muss man natürlich nicht benutzen. Es sei denn, man möchte das Achievement haben.

Wer absoluten Bike-rennspaß will, sollte hier im Sale zuschlagen. Nichts desto trotz sind die derzeit veranschlagten 49,99€ es absolut wert. Wer einen etwas knapperen Geldbeutel hat, sollte bis zum Summer-Sale warten. DLC's braucht man nicht, um die Karriere zu spielen, erleichtern es ungemein.

Allgemein zu Ride 2 und im Vergleich zu Ride 1:

Positiv

Der Motorensound ist nun deutlich besser und klingt nur noch bei Reihendrei- und Reihenvierzylindermotoren etwas blechern.
Viele neue Motorräder sowie neue Strecken, darunter auch die Nordschleife.
Motorräder verfügen nun über Leistungspunkte zum besseren Vergleich.
Fotomodus wurde überarbeitet und besitzt nun deutlich mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten.
Grafisch deutlich aufgewertet, vor allem auf hohen Einstellungen.
Motorräder sind sehr detailliert.
Fahrphysik weitenteils in Ordnung, könnte mMn aber noch realistischer sein.
Fahrhilfen zahlreich und auch einstellbar.
Für einen höheren Schwierigkeitsgrad gibt es endlich auch mehr Credits (die Währung).
Die gesamte Menüführung ist deutlich besser geworden.
Ladezeiten verkürzt.
Steuerung (XBOX-Controller) nach wie vor super.
Preise für die Motorräder sind okay.

Negativ

Die Preise für das Tuningzubehör sind teils etwas überzogen. Eine MV Agusta F3 bspw kostet um die 14.000 Cr, die Reifen 2.000 Cr und das Racing-Kit 150.000 Cr (Nein, da ist keine Null zu viel).
Die KI verhält sich genau so wie bei Ride 1: Es gibt immer 1-2 Fahrer die deutlich schneller sind als der Rest. Sind sie vor einem, ziehen sie davon; sind sie hinter einem, holen sie entweder unaufhaltsam auf oder fallen weit zurück.
Im Grafikmenü gibt es kaum Einstellmöglichkeiten.

Fazit

Insgesamt ist Ride 2 eine wirklich schöne Weiterentwicklung. Wer allerdings auf eine Revolution im Vergleich zu Ride 1 hofft, wird enttäuscht. Aufgrund der neuen Strecken und Motorräder und vieler kleiner Verbesserungen aber eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

ich gebe hier meine erste Review zu diesem Spiel, weil es wirklich, meine Meinung nach, geniales Motorradspiel seit langem ist.

-eine riesen Auswahl an realen Motorrädern..
-... die richtig schön Detailgetreu gestaltet sind
-eine riese Auswahl an realen Marken Equipment für Fahrer
-viele einestellungsmöglichkeiten für die Fahrzeuge sowie Motorradteile
-strecken mit verschiedenen Wetterbedingungen
-fahrphysik lässt sich testen und einstellen
-für ein Motorradsimmulation eine schöne Grafik (persönliche Meinung)

Ich kann das Spiel wirklich jedem empfehlen, der Spaß an Motorradsimmulationen hat

Da habt ihr ja mal nen geiles Ding rausgehauen. Das Game gefällt mir auf Anhieb. Hab lange nach einem vernünftigen Motorrad Game gesucht und hier bin ich fündig geworden. Sehr schöne Streckenauswahl und Grafisch sehr gut umgesetzt, eine Fülle an Bikes, einfach wunderbar. Steuerung per XBOX 360 Controller ist sehr gut. Für mich ein TOP Game

Una de las mejores ideas de carreras de motos que han tenido en los últimos tiempos. Genial en todo, pistas (circuitos), motos, lugares, tipos de carreras, categorías... super en todo recomiendo mucho este juego. Muy divertido que da mucho placer.

The FPS counter says 50-60 FPS, but my eyes say 5-10. I know I'm tired, but it's not just that. This 2016 game struggles on High-end 2016 hardware. Nope. Just nope. Got it on sale, still consider it money poorly spent.

And then there are the DLCs. Those bikes really should be included in the main game. Developers like this should be ashamed. Not only you need to unlock the bikes ingame, but also with hard-earned currency? Hell no.

Really good motorcycle sim; rewarding physics difficulty and good graphics for the year. If you just want better graphics, buy Ride 3 - it´s basically the same thing. Ride 4 is a disappointment :(

This is better than Ride 1, and Ride 3. You will find this on a deep sale most of the time, so if you are looking to get into the series, this is the one to buy. I like the physics and career in this one over 1 and 3.

Needless to say, the best part of the Ride 2 gaming experience is - once you've got your refund through.

Somebody should buy or even lend a bike to the developers so that they understand something about the physics of a two-wheeler.

even at 120 fps it is a stuttering mess and why does the rider flash in and out of existence when u have a crash is it because it runs like its only getting 5 fps and i dont think the devs are even looking into fixing this as its never been updated and as far as i know Ride 1 STILL has the same problem

this game is 4 years old already but it still kicks ass in 2020 especially the supermotos, the supermotos are great fun espevially when you turn the TCS off you can silde onto corners or while cornering the other bikes are fun too like the ZX-636 when fully upgraded is can be one beast of a bike even thoudh it has a lower performance points than a ducati

Riding controls using a Xbox controller sucks. I use the highest difficulty and its still feels like there like the character is fighting me. Throttle control is next to impossible in this game, its either 0%,25%, or full throttle. Nice choice of bikes, but everything due to the way the throttle works either feels too underpowered or doesn't feel like it can fun to control. Sounds are lacking as well, both with headphones and through a quality soundbar with sub the sound is verrrry muted even at max volume.

great deal for $10 cad on sale. did a supermoto race and shut off the stupid helping arrows and got 1st first try!

It's kinda like GRID in two wheels. Not too hard not to easy, quite entertaining if you like racing.

A lot of bikes and categories, PP (power points) tiering concept was a nice idea, but it's misleading sometimes, check the stats and engine size, those are more accurate.

Tracks are well made. The elevation changes seems realistic, no invisible bumps or weird bugs, asphalt is not the most detailed, but it's good enough. Bikes really shine, those are very well made and detailed, not very customizeable (in the visual aspect. Their performance can be upgraded with parts kits).

Physics are well made, not ultra realistic and that's not the game goal, but very good and consistent, my only gripe is the handling, there is almost no handlebar steering, all cornering (even in lower speeds) is made with leaning which can make bikes feel quite stiff at some times. Controls are good and work as intended, brakes can be set to be joint or individual with front and rear controlled separately.

Difficulty is a bit wonky sometimes some races are too easy and in others rivals zoom in front of you ( that's much related with the PP concept where bikes with same PP in a category perform abysmally different. Sometimes AI can get a bit on the aggro side and bump your rear wheel or side, It's a good overall AI tho.

Grind is light, but present, you have to earn credits to buy upgrades and tokens to get a decent teammate. Racing is divided in Singe race, Time trial, Perfect Trajectory, Pairs race (team race) and Drag.

It's a good game for the price, first two or three races you will miss, fail and fall a lot till you get used to handling. And expect to fall a bit after you do.

Would get a CBR1000 no Northwest 200 and crash in the last corner again 8/10

Excellent Bike Game!!!
Was expecting some bugs as usual from Milestone previous games I bought, but at the moment the game runs fluent with no bugs at all. Maybe not a real simulator but awesome game dynamics to keep you entertained for hours.
Recomended 9 /10

I ride in real life and I'll pass on this. Just too much to setup and the menus are a nightmare. Personally it's way too realistic they need to dial things back a bit cuz it's still a game. I hope Ride 3 will vastly improve upon things, atleast with the menu and controls side. Its not fun having to leave a race and go all the way back to the main menu just to access the options menu.. Also its not very fun when you can barely complete one lap on the first race. I will say this tho. Once you do finally get the key bindings set properly for the controller the game is much much easier to master. If you have the patience to bind keys and love a realistic racing simulator for bikes then look no further.

Great game. Got it at 50% off on Steam sale. Has the optimizations from Ducati 90th Anniversary after Ride. Runs smoothly and stably. Great range of tracks and bikes. Buy it instead of Ride if you don't already have it. I wasn't sure about it initially because I like Ducati 90th Anniversay so much after Ride. The initial settings the game makes were not the best for me. I dropped the textures to increase the resolution and refresh to get the smooth framerate I wanted after Ducati 90th Anniversary. It set keyboard default with the joypad plugged in. Impressed with range of bikes. Free DLC packs of bikes as well as DLC packs of bikes to buy. Great tracks. As a biker it's useful to try out bikes you're interested in since bike stores rarely have demonstrators available.

Solid motorcycle racing game, probably the closest we will get to a Forza/Gran Turismo bike game, and a lot newer than Tourist Trophy. Get it on sale if you can.

Usually Motobikes in games are sort of an extra or afterthought to car games.
This one however really celebrates motobikes in all its attention to detail. A massive selection of iconic bikes (moren than 200), tons of licensed performance upgrade parts and visual customization, down to the level of the brake fluid lines, handles and so forth. Once you are done with the bike, you can go on and deck out your rider with hundred of helmets, boots, suits and gloves. Furthermore you can customize the way the rider leans and shifts on the bike, how the head is tilted during tuck ins and alot of other details. With all those parts and machines, I shudder at the thought of all the licensing agreements, they must have made to make the game happen.

The racing itself is very varied. Lots of tracks including classics like the Nurburgring Nordschleife, Laguna Seca, Donington etc. The selection is not limited to race circuits, but also scenic routes, city tracks and drag strips for drag racing.
Apart from the usual modes like race and time attack, there are the occasional perfect trajectory events, which involve circling a track through traffic cones. Lots of fun. Additionally, there is the option to manage your own team and three additional drivers which have a role in Team Based events, where they act as wingmen. These Team Riders kinda gain experience/ Proficiency and I think you can share em with your STEAM friends too. Needless to say, that there is online racing aswell. To top it off we get daily/ weekly challenges that grant special tokens as reward, that can be traded in for more customization stuff.

Difficulty and simulation model is highly customizable, so players of any skill can have intense races. Higher difficulties simply scale the rewards by a percentual margin , not massively tho, so there is not a big downside about going easy.
The rider AI is pretty competent and makes for adequate adversaries, they sure don't hold back on overtaking and putting pressure on the player.
Progression in the game is mainly centered around credits to buy bigger and better bikes.
By the time of writing the game already has at least 9 free bike DLC's and a selection of paid DLC with yet more iconic bikes. As far as I have gathered, there are no tracks barred of behind a paywall, so thats all fine and dandy.

Generally the game feels really polished. The bike models are very detailed and simply look stunning. The Replay and photo mode allow for taking flashy pictures of the racing. So it's all there.

My verdict: Looks great, plays great, performance is well optimized. Massive content and a freeform gameplay like Gran Turismo.
Very good racing game, imo the best motobike game I came across so far. It's alot of fun, so I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a polished motobike experience.
Couldn't think of any cons so far.

I got the game as a gift from a friend, not the devs :D

Check it out guys! A Milestone game that doesn't suck! Kudos

Apologies to any Milestone fan's or Employee's reading that subtitle. But come on guys it is like flipping a coin with Milestone if the game is going to be good or not. I would very much prefer to support them than deride them. Keep it up!

This a great simcade motorcycle racing game! It has no clutch option for anyone going full sim and this seems to trigger people (wasn't fussed myself)

If you turn all assists off it can be insanely challenging keeping the front wheel down and pulling sweet drifts out of corners.

The helmet cam is fantastic and can over a really exciting view. Try the helmet cam on somewhere like the NW200 circuit at 200mph+. Fun stuff!

The first title had a lack of bike in my opinion. This has been addressed here by adding a really good selection of bikes (Still could be more) but its good. The addition of multiple 2 stroke bikes this time around makes me very happy. Being able to ride bikes that I actually owned and rode is an awesome experience. Suzuki RGV <3. I wish they added the mental 250cc and 400cc screamers of the early 90's and I still think its a damn shame that this game has no Bandits but it has its rival the Hornet.

In the last game I had an issue with the sound quality. The sound quality has been vastly improved (Could still be better on some bikes like V&L Twins) on the whole the sound is good and the 2 stroke chatter on deceleration is fantastic.

The bike are beautifully modelled and this game is ripe for taking fantastic screenshots.

The game has a significantly longer life span than the first game.

Online is empty and unstable (Normal).

No option to turn of vibration on pads in options (AGAIN!) thankfully on the XBO pad you can modify it via windows tools.

While I really enjoy this game it still has the Milestone effect where the game feels soulless and empty outside of a race. I'm not sure how they manage to do this all the time.

Maybe the just need to implement more of a better progression to future games? Maybe something like Gran Turismo, Tourist Trophy? Start with a weak bike, enter amateur races, new licences, advance etc.

I still dream the PC gets a career based racer like Gran Turismo, car or bike. Imagine Project Cars handling and graphics with Gran Turismo's career mode (Racing game wet dreams right there)

I won't do a Pro's and Con's on this as everything is summed up above really.
