Schönes Bike Racing Game,Gute Grafik,gutes Gameplay und alles machbar hatte bis jetzt kein Rennen das ich nicht gewinnen konnte,guter Nachfolger von Ride 2

Allthough it is a really great game to play, the drag racing destroyed the game for me, i was trying to 100% the career and i already had a problem one time with a 500 2 stroke. now i need to use the H2 kawasaki, and have to race against h2r, with 100 ish hp more than my h2. and i won't buy the dlc with the h2r. The race is not winnable, in an older video i found only h2, so by adding the h2r, the race broke. Ride 2 had h2 and h2r as non dlc bikes and way more upgrades and better ai. The rest of the game was fun

Ride 3 ist die erfolgreiche Fortsetzung von Ride 2. Die Grafik wurde verbessert und die Steuerung besticht mit Präzision, doch auch der Sound ist von gewohnt guter Qualität. Die Modifikationen für das Bike sind enorm, und die vielen DLC's machen das Spiel zu einem Erlebnis. Es wurde in allen Teilen verbessert und ist im Sale für einen fairen Preis zu haben.

Fahre seit 50 Jahren Motorrad, nach einem Unfall habe ich momentan keines mehr. Tröste mich erfolgreich über diesen elenden Winter mit (fast) täglichen Touren auf Ride 3. Nicht dass es einer richtigen Biketour nahekäme, aber es hilft über die Bikelose Zeit ganz gut weg!

ich finde das dieses Spiel selbst auf längerer Dauer Spaß macht und man immer was zutun hat.
Man kann sich auch sein spiel Erlebnis selber gestallten und es entweder schwerer gestallten oder leichter

Das Spiel war toll bis zu dem Zeitpunkt wo sie Motorräder die schon in dem Spiel waren als DLC gemacht haben.
Meine besten/liebsten Bikes sind weg und ich soll dafür jetzt mindestens 6€ zahlen.
Wer hat euch denn ins Hirn geschissen?

Einfach mal das was Leute haben zu einem DLC zu machen.

Ride 3 ist eigentlich ein schönes Spiel mit vielen detailliert nachgebildeten Motorrädern. Bei vielen davon habe ich als Motorradfahrer schöne Erinnerungen, einige habe ich selbst schon gefahren. Das Fahrverhalten ist meist nachvollziehbar, wenn auch nicht immer im direkten Vergleich verschiedener Modelle untereinander. Im Großen und Ganzen macht das Spiel auch ungeheuer Spaß. Eigentlich kein Fan von Rennspielen, habe ich mich recht schnell in einen mittleren Schwierigkeitsgrad hochgespielt.
Leider gibt es aber auch einige Punkte, die es mir nicht nur unmöglich machen, dieses Spiel weiter zu empfehlen, sondern in Einzelfällen auch noch für starke Frustmomente sorgen.
Zum einen wären da die Zeitrennen. Die meisten davon sind mit ein wenig Übung gut zu meistern. Einige vereinzelte sind jedoch aus meiner Sicht dermaßen überzogen schwer, dass selbst nach vielen Versuchen immer noch das letzte Hundertstel fehlt. Dies scheint auch anderen Leuten so zu gehen, geht man nach den einschlägigen Foren im Internet.
Zum anderen ist die KI in den Rennen extrem inkonsistent. Während ich auf ein und demselben Schwierigkeitsgrad auf manchen Strecken und in manchen Rennen für die KI komplett unschlagbar zu sein scheine, ist es auf anderen Strecken/Rennen so, dass mich die KI auch auf deutlich niedrigeren Schwierigkeitsgraden in Grund und Boden hämmert, während sie nahezu perfekt wie auf Schienen mit deutlich höherer Geschwindigkeit auf der gleichen Linie selbst um engste Kurven rast.
Das wäre ja alles nicht so wild, wenn man nicht auf den Sieg in diesen Events angewiesen wäre, um einige historisch bedeutende Motorräder freizuschalten. Ohne diese fühlt sich die eigene Sammlung dann sehr unvollständig an. Und wenn solche Events dann auch noch in den für das Finale benötigten Specials liegen, dann wird der Frust nur umso größer.
Dass die KI offenbar bei identischen Bikes mehr Leistungspunkte durch Tuningmaßnahmen erhalten kann wie der Spieler oder dass der Karrieremodus eigentlich keiner ist, fällt dann kaum noch ins Gewicht.
Da das letzte Update schon ein Weilchen her ist und Milestone mittlerweile Ride 4 angekündigt hat, mache ich mir auch keine Hoffnungen, dass sich hier noch etwas ändern wird. Leider lässt die Tatsache, dass diese Schwächen nicht schon längst behoben sind, keine Aussicht auf Besserung beim Nachfolger zu.

Habe das Spiel jetzt für eine geraume Weile gespielt. Mein Fazit ist:

Es hat einen großen Fuhrpark den man sich recht leicht erspielen kann.
Schöne Grafik
Immer nette Geschichten/Erklärungen zu den einzelnen Bikes.
Eine sehr große Karriere und macht einfach Spaß zu fahren und die Bikes auszutesten.

Negativ Punkte:
Die KI ist zu unkonstant und manchmal einfach nicht verständlich
Beispiele:
Drag Race (Schwierigkeit: Sehr Leicht) Ich plage mich damit ich es überhaupt schaffe
Endurance Race (Schwierigkeit: MAX) Ich fahre nach 10 Runden durch die Box damit ich überhaupt noch einen Gegner sehe, weil sie einfach so sehr hinterher hinken
oder als drittes noch ein normales Race (Schwierigkeit: Schwer) Ich gewinne ganz knapp vor dem 2ten (ca 0.3sec) und der 3ter Platz ist über 10Sec hinter uns.

Man ist gezwungen IMMER 1ter zu werden in der Karriere. Also kein Liga System oder so etwas in den Bänden sondern alle Sterne gibt es nur wenn man erster wird.

Im Mulitplayer gibt es keine Funktion andere Spieler automatisch zu muten. Und auch keine Möglichkeit um auf Push-to-Talk umzustellen.

Es gibt keinen Reifenverschleiß und keine Reifentemperatur. Dafür dieses komische Öl dass wenn man vergisst es vor einem Rennen neu zu geben es dich so langsam macht dass du dein Rennen gleich abbrechen kannst.

Alles in allem ein schönes Spiel mit ein paar Problemen die hoffentlich spätestens mit dem nächsten Teil gefixed werden.

Mit Abstand das schlechteste Ride was ich bisher gespielt habe so schlecht das mir 6 Stunden Spielzeit reichten um es zu deinstallieren aber Ride und Ride 2 sind durchaus besser meiner Meinung nach , wenn das Spiel 2-5 Euro kosten würde okay, Grafik nicht so toll, Umbau Möglichkeiten sehr beschreckt da bieten die Vorgänger durchaus mehr und von Fahrphysik muss man bei Ride eh nicht reden .

Nach einigen Spielstunden des ersten Teiles und nun auch des 2. Teiles kann ich sagen das dieses Spiel echt viel Spaß macht , da jedes Rennen in der Karriere eine neue Herausforderung ist und falls man mal keine Lust auf die Karriere dort hat kann man einfach je nach laune ein Zeitrennen oder schnelles Rennen fahren, wodurch man sich schonmal auf die Strecken vorbereiten kann. Durch das verdiente Geld der gewonnenen Rennen kann man sich Tuning teile kaufen , wie beispielsweise einen Renn-Luftfilter oder verschiedene Reifen, wodurch man deutliche Unterschiede während des Rennens merken wird.

Hier die Positiven und Negativen dinge :)

Positiv :
- Sehr schöne Grafik.
- Viele Strecken. ( Für verschiedene Motorräder )
- Gute Belohnungen für einen SIeg.
- Mit Freunden und auch alleine ein absoluter Spaßfaktor.
- Eine riesige Auswahl an Motorrädern und echten Marken.
- Viele Tuningoptionen
- Tag, Nacht und Regen sind verfügbar.
- Guter Preis ( Im Angebot )

Negativ :
- Physik könnte echt besser sein.
- Als Anfänger hat man es in diesem Spiel relativ schwer.
- Zu wenig Supermoto
- Viele Strecken leider nur übernommen

Aber trotzdem
Kleinere Negativpunkte sind nie wegzudenken, jedoch macht das Spiel echt mega viel Spaß, besonders wenn man sich für Motorräder Interessiert!
Es ist und bleibt einfach ein mega Zeitvertreib besonders im Herbst Winter Monaten :)

Contra:
KI total übertrieben macht keine Fehler, bleibt stur auf der Ideallinie. Manchmal wird man von der KI gerammt, man selbst stürzt, die KI fährt einfach weiter.
Zeitfahren teilweise frustrierend. Man kommt nur einmal minimal aufs Gras oder bei einem Curb zu weit raus, dann ist gleich die komplette Zeit ungültig und die Runde umsonst.

Pro: Livery Editor ist ganz ok.

I have 40 plus years riding motorcycles, and I was a motorcycle mechanic. I can tell you right now this game has no resemblance to real life motorcycle riding. I have to wonder if anyone on the Milestone's team has ever ridden a motorcycle. The first person views in this game are so wildly exaggerated, that it almost causes you to become sick. The motorcycles in this game are not able to hold their line, and making even small turns seems to whip your bike 4 to 5 feet from side to side. The A.I. balance is nonexistent, to the point that the A.I. seems to always be in top gear and running at top speed, leaving you behind while you're still in the process of shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Buy this with my warning, there is no real life experience to be gained; this is not a simulator, and it is extreme arcade.

Ride 3 is everything Ride 4 should have been. Where Ride 4 was a by the numbers career racer where you visit locales and it tries to be something more akin to Moto GP (made by the same studio), Ride 3 feels like a more relaxed celebration of everything that is motorcycling. There's history bits for all the bikes, there are street races, the game just feels like it wants you to like it, and once you get away from the starter bikes and earning new ones, or using the free DLC ones, you'll find the game gets a lot better.

While it's not as beautiful as Ride 4, this game hits my itch for a Forza Horizon for motorcycles. Sadly, there's no open world, and sometimes it can be frustrating... but this is the most fun I've had in a motorcycle racer. Get it. The Difficulty slider even kinda works in this game, and you can turn off the dynamic difficulty increase if you don't like it.

Lack of options and settings, and driving feels sloppy!!! when playing online you can not gear down, it is not possible to choose the 200pp bike in the 200pp class online. the game changes witch screen it is projected on by it self, and theres no options to change it. and after you change some settings, they dont stay changed. i was excited for my first MC game, but this is a sloppy mess of a game......

Sorry but I ride motorcycles and have been riding for 10 years. I have been playing video games even competitively my entire life. This game is trash in my opinion, and here is the reason I do not recommend anyone purchasing. Its not realistic, realistically I can control a motorcycle with relative ease yet they make controlling the bike extremely difficult, like playing grand turismo in the effort of making it realistic they actually made it unrealistic. Additionally the motorcycles engine does not not behave like a real bike. I was in 6 gear with a race bike on the game and the bike never even touched the redline after 30 seconds of consistent speed. Even when I downshifted it didnt redline at 5 gear. On top of that when I downshifted and applied the break prior to a turn the bike was not responsive and literally did not steer as sharp as it would have done in real life. I find Grand Theft Autos motorcycle physics alot closer to how I really drive a motorcycle than this game. If you are looking for a game where you can just joyride motorcycles do not buy this game, they dont have a tour or practice mode, only racing. Man I miss the days of midnight club.

Physics is pretty good, Graphics still holds up even to this day.

Great game,
Physics are closer to the unrealistic side.
AI is literally unbeatable as they have magical grip and any kind of contact will knock you off your bike.
and after about 110 hours into the game .. i cant play it as its stuck at loading 100% and i have tried literally everything.

As a long term (car) racing game fanatic and motorcyclist IRL, I thought this would be a fun game but I am sad to say it dissapoints. The physics and controls are very hard to get used to, especially using a controller, there is very little feedback letting you know you are about to lose grip and crash. It seems like there is a very steep learning curve which could be due to the fact i am inexperienced in the genre.
Riding aids like TCS and bike suspension don't offer any noticeable difference for me, they seem more like a gimmick.
The suggested cornering line speed indication will guarantee you do not finish first if you choose to follow it.
By default the game adjusts the opponent difficulty to your skill level which can lead to strange situations where opponents with lower specced bikes suddenly fly past you as if you were standing still, luckily this can be disabled but it is enabled by default which is a bit of a pain.
The game upgrades your opponents bikes when you upgrade yours which kind of defeats the purpose of upgrading and tuning your bike as it will not give you a real edge.
I can understand what attracts motorcycle racing game fans to this game as it has a lot of real world bikes and tracks but personally I would not buy it again.

Get Ride 2. It is just a better game. The tracks are nicer in here, but the UI, AI, and always starting in 8th place (you can fix that in Ride 2) is just annoying. I think the AI also believe they are playing Wreckfest. They also added a bunch of extra upgrades which do nothing over the fewer in Ride 2 but cost more.

Road tracks seem to have different AI balance than race tracks; Nurburgring tracks are just broken. The AI is godlike, super aggressive, and the track is way narrower than it should be. Macau is claustrophobic.

Maybe Ride 4 is better? Not sure, and I will wait for a deep, deep sale so I won't be as disappointed as I am in this game.

Get Ride 2 - it will be cheaper, and you will like it better.

5/10 on sale, 2/10 at full price.

Like its predecessor, a brilliant game. The last in a series which tries to recreate the idea of sport riding in public roads. As a rider this quality is what attracted me to the series, and how unfortunate that the sequel - ride 4 - was built mostly around track riding.

Best motorcycle game I've ever played, even better than it's 4th installment IMO just because of its wider selection! I ride a small displacement bike in real life, and this has given me a tiny glimpse of what it's like to ride the bigger, faster and more awesome bikes I would someday get to try (or hopefully own) in the future.

Nice Graphics but other than that trash. Unless you have a fetish for becoming a Slave, don't play this. This game expects perfection and pro league skill from the start, if you end up buying this game, save up for a new controller and therapy sessions as you will need them.

Ride 3 is different than the first 2, but none the less feels fun. It has plenty of bikes and options to choose, but lacking certain things from previous games they didn't address.
The game has more of realistic approach but the motion blur and some things make it seem weird.
The A.I is either slow and dumb or super fast and aggressive.
There are bugs still with parts on some bikes not showing up.

Ride 3 is a fun game and worth it when its on sale, but i still feel Ride 2 is the best one.

Balance all over the place, AI defying the laws of physics, OP DLC bikes; Milestone at its worst. Anything positive, be it the diversified and beautiful locals, a very nice variety of bikes (even without DLC) and a genuine fun driving mechanic is completely overshadowed by the aforementioned lack of balance. It isn't hard, it is unfair and infuriating.

If you have ride 2, This is basically the same, with better graphics, slightly improved sound and more options. Bought on sale and still think is not worth the hassle FOR RIDE 2 OWNERS.

IF you are new to the series, buy it. It IS a good game.

This game is a mix between sim and arcade. like someone else stated before, Gran Turismo of motorcycles.
Bikes handle differently per type and make so there is plenty of variation. the customization is more then plentiful and you have a decent amount of free dlc.

If you like bikes and don't mind a challenge, this one is for you.
when still in doubt buy on sale, but for me personally also worth full price.

game is amazing, until you race at night. the game is so messed up, my PC is more than capable yet i get black screens every night race. and when i google it, the problem goes back to 2018. NO FIX! garbage creators, this solidified my lack of interest in Ride 4. They refuse to fix their game.

It looks really good, the sounds are ok however, they have stupid rules that will invalidate the lap AND THE NEXT ONE!! Thus removing the replay option. If you even touch a blade of grass on ether side of the tracks it will dump your time and replay. I have uninstalled the game and gone back to ride 2, it looks the same and doesn't burn you for a mistake by screwing you out of your replay. I get that lap time being dropped, but the next one too? What boardroom moron thought that up? I have followed MC racing for 20 odd years that silly rule does not exist in real life. Something you claim to be representing. Sadly I can not get my money back. As I gave it every chance I could taking more then 2 hrs. Replays matter to me. They may not for you.

It's the best motorcycle game out there at the moment. You'll have to get used to all of the physics, mechanics etc.
A.I. is inconsistent. You might beat them at race 1 but they will crush you at the next one.
The game features both rider and bike customization. Upgrading your bike's performance or changing the colors its all there. The game's performance is alright. The graphics and SFX are nothing to write home about.

This is a good motorcycle racing game that is fun to play and difficult to master. Whilst playing through though I did notice something that I found incredibly unfair, it will include bikes from the DLC in the career races and sometimes they are just straight up better than anything in the base game, very poor taste Milestone.

im not giving it a negative review because its not a good game but im pretty dissapointed that i have to download a damn driver to make it so my moniter literally wouldnt shut off only to download another one and the game crashes. well at least it doesnt turn my moniter to sleep mode but i figured in 2020 you would have your stuff together for probaly the most popular graphics card rx580. after 2 years no fix awesome. your making a ride 4 and ride 3 doesnt even fucking work fuck you.

Cant do it with this game. The handling of the bikes feels so inconsistent. It seems like on one lap my brakes never do anything leading into a turn even though I'm pressing them all the way trying to slow down but then the next lap its like my rear tire locks up and I go veering off the track every time I touch the brakes. The AI are basically completely brain dead and just follow the racing line no matter what I've been knocked off the track by them more times than I can count in the 45 minutes I have in this game but yet they never seem to crash. This is my first time trying out a Ride game and I gotta say I am not feeling it at all. There are good parts about this game though like the selection of bikes is good and I like the customization you can do in it, and the graphics are pretty decent but I just cant get down with how bad the racing itself feels to me.

I really want to love this game, as a fellow motorcyclist I love all things motorcycles and this game honestly is awesome for people who want to have a nice arcade motorcycle experience, yes it's an arcade racer not a sim one, which isn't a bad thing.
The thing I absolutely hate about this game is the cheap fucking cashgrab the devs call DLC for it. 50% off its 30 euros so 60 euros full price JUST FOR VIRTUAL FUCKING BIKES. What makes it even worse is that the fucking game is full fucking price at 50 euros. I hate hate hate it.
So if you decide that paying 60 more bucks just to get some virtual bikes in a full priced game is way too much, dont expect to win every race, there are some shitstains of motorcycles that are locked behind the DLC paywall that will absolutely smoke your scrublord, base game only bikes, What makes it even worse is that they dont even attempt to hide the DLC bikes away somewhere where you cant see them, they are just right there in the dealership screen, staring at you, endlessly taunting to fork out some extra dough.
As I said I really want to recommend this game, I absolutely love everything it has to offer gameplay wise and have succumbed to the temptation and bought the DLC's but if you dont have an extra 110 euros burning a hole in your pocket don't get it, if you are like me and love all thing motorcycle related, DONT DONT AND FUCKING DONT get it at full price, pirate that shit and wait untill it goes on sale.
ITS NOT WORTH 110 EUROS

This game is great! I saw other reviews before getting the game saying they were having stiff steering but that may be due to a assist you can have on. Regardless the graphics and motorcycle graphics accuracy is amazing. I cant speak for the other bikes but the kawasaki ninjas and the gsxr 600 sound right and even feel right. Overall this game is amazing because of the graphics, realism, customization, play ability, details, and wide variety of things to do or games to play. I received this as a gift from my girlfriend at the time not by the game, only adding this in so you dont think this is biased. Btw its comparable in quality to Forza just for motorcycles in all categories.

MotoGP or ISLE of man over this. The sound of the motorcycles are horrid on a headset.

Update: (6/22/2020)

Actually i was playing career and playing the lower CC's which is why i thought as said previously. However, once i jumped into the higher CC's i really started enjoying this game and the sound FX. With a proper headset and First person view helmet cam, this game is awesome. As a 1000cc rider myself, I would suggest getting this game.

Excellent game, I am a motorcyclist of 10 years and its great fun riding your dream bikes round circuits you know. I've experienced a few minor bugs in the game, such as helmet cam stuck on the menu, some graphical effects such as the road being too shiny. The only let down for me is some of the sounds in the game aren't very realistic, having owned some of the bikes the game lets you ride in real life, some don't sound anything like the real bike (ZX7R for example). Overall a great fun game though that gets closer than anything else to real riding.

So far i know, this is one of the best motorcycle games. Currently in 2020 Ride 3 is the only option for bike lovers. The passage to Unreal is a new start for the franchise and the high volume of the content is a great plus. It's a pity that AI and Physics aren't always perfect and the career mode is as entertaining as it is long. Ride 3 has a good sound much better than ride 2 but unfortunately if i upgraded the motorcycle it doesn't make the sound changed :( i hope ride 4 would be a open world game and please added matic bikes too, it would be freaking awesome ????. So for me, i rated 8/10

As a single player game - its really not too bad, The AI is poor at times but within acceptable limits.

Its online the game falls apart, Horrific lobby connectivity means you'll dc from about a third of your races. And the ones you don't DC from you get hit with Lag spikes loosing you at least a second or two or at worst get catapulted accross the circuit by a glitching opponent.

Milestone dont really have any interactivity with thier playerbase, which is a little dissapointing.

While the handling and graphics are a great improvement over ride 2 I can't recommend this over Ride 2

The AI riders make this a miserable experience. They constantly ram you or turn into you even on straights like it's a motocross arcade game. They are invulnerable to the game physics, contact that should result in them crashing takes you out instead. They'll crash you out but you can't return the favor. Sometimes they outright cheat.
example: Icons chapter 4 Championship event, 1st race in series is SUGO (one of my favorites in RIDE 2) I have the Bimota V (Fastest in the class) MAX PP full engine upgrades mid tires and brakes. The leader takes off like it's an H2. My line was good but in the 1st lap arriving at the back straight I'm in 2nd place (about 1/3 of the lap) the leader is already at least 8 sec ahead. Abort the race and reload... bikes are fair again. A year and half into the release and this is still an issue? Shameful

Milestone: You should be ashamed and embarased with this pathetic AI ! Nearly 20 year old Gran Turismo games have better collision avoidance!

i like it. sale % , fun racing game with a lot of content.
you got the choice, drive more sim realistic or arcade.
xbox controller does a great job
use helmet view - changes bike physics and movement
the sound is good :D
graphics are ok, bikes look awesome, map background /road could be a little more detailed
like in f.e. DirtRally2.0.

Every AI racer is mentally handicapped except for the one in 1st that is impossible to catch. He takes every turn perfectly and never makes mistake even if you turn it down to Very Easy. Your reward for racing your ass off to catch him is watching him ride off into the sunset on a straightaway because his bike is secretly a fighter jet. The rest of the AI will crash into you at every opportunity, so your options for taking turns are to either take the optimal path and get smashed or take it wide and lose. This game looks really good but plays like garbage

Rather disappointed by this. Milestone games usually rather good, but this has bad AI that just causes crashes. The physics is rather poor unless you upgrade everything on the bike. Your rider will self eject at every opportunity for no reason at all. If you want a frustrating experience of repeatedly restarting a race an only seeing to the first corner, this is the game for you. It could have been great, but is a long way from what I would expect.
Don't even attempt to try the supermoto training, you'll put your fist through your screen.

i have instaled the game, and i launch, when i play its appears A EULA and policy, i have to accept it, but nothing happens, i cant reach Online mode and DLC pack when all i bought and download it can't Load at the game, I have contact the Dev but nothing happens, someone who can fix it please help.. i think this game isn't recommended, better play RIDE 2

got this for cheap a few days ago and i must says its 1000x better the moto gp. loving this game atm, grab it while it cheap you wont regret it.

might take u a few races to get the hang of it but start slow and you'll get there.

-Motorbikes do not sound like their real world counterparts. Really disgusting to hear some of the iconic motorbikes sound so fake (2 strokes sound like they just sampled it from some old yamaha keyboard) or otherwise mismatched (The KTMs for example sound like I'm riding a different motorcycle. I own a KTM btw and I did not like how Milestone replicated the sounds)

Welp, this is what I think is a good continuation of RIDE 2.
As with the previous game, I don't consider this to be a racing game as is, it's more of a bike collecting game and chilling out game. Being essentially Gran Turismo with bikes, it shares issues of poorly balanced races and weird classes, where a 1 liter bike can be in the same race with 750cc bike. How is that OK?
The handling is much better than RIDE 2's, at least it's easier and more predictable. The visuals are great, and the overall presentation is fantastic. It's a game thta I can always get back to just for esthetics. So if you need a game where you could relax and drive some bikes - this is it.

Though, if you want multiplayer - avoid RIDE 3, as the multiplayer is filled with hackers and is generally unpleasent.

This game's single player mode cannot be completed without DLCs. There are some drag races where the AI gets some absurdly overpowered (or under-tiered/under-rated) bike from a DLC, which is impossible to follow with any other standard bike even when fully upgraded

The performance points system is too imbalanced. Some races are so easy to win it's boring (>20s advantage in a 3-lap race where you start 8th in hard mode), some other races are so hard its frustrating (mostly because some OP DLC bike, but in a normal race you eventually manage your way around corners after several tries...not very fun IMHO). Some upgrades enhance the performance of the bike without adding performance points (like suspension); while some other add PPs without improving the stats of the bike (like some engine parts which add 0,5 hp). Some bikes around 500 PP have similar stats as other in the ~650PP range (ex: '00 Bimota SB8k v.s. '02 Honda CBR900)

TBH around ~60% of the races are average difficulty (comparing with a game with a better ranking system such as GT5/6/Sport), the graphics are good and so is the amount of bikes and brands available (could have a few more tracks such as Jerez, Assen, Suzuka or Le Mans/Bugatti)

For me it's not worth its steam sale price (€19 IIRC?) unless you want some casual bike race where sometimes you won't be able to finish better than 5th for no apparent reason

Nice game, but AI is random as hell. Some tracks you can win on any difficulty level - some even on most easy level you can never reach leader. Dirt tracks, mostly unpleasant to ride because of many short sharp corners, camera cant follow up fast enough.

As someone who has had this game since a few days after release, I've genuinely enjoyed the game and have gotten lots of hours out of this game. I've also bought all the downloadable content and I still have stuff to do. The game has a nice selection of bikes and great graphics. They put some triple A titles to shame with such graphics. Ride 3 also has an awesome bike customization feature and can make some bikes really feel like they're your bike. They also have a bunch of gear, such as helmets, pants, jackets, complete race suits and different animations for your riders style.

With all that being said, there's somethings that definitely make the game less tangible in my opinion. For example, the AI is pretty ridiculous. They often follow a line and won't budge off of it, they have no awareness to you passing or to brake for you while you're slowing down. Most of the time the AI will just plow into you or you'll end up plowing into them trying to pass and they will just come flying out of left field. You have to play really aggressive to pass the AI and to stay in the lead because if you don't, it's like the guy in the stock R6 behind you will almost gain on your modified as fuck ZX6R and you're sitting there wondering how in the fuck did he do that? Sometimes it ruins the entire experience of a race when you're almost blowing your brains out trying to win and it's just not that realistic when you are so hard on the brakes and throttle trying to keep the advantage.

Another glaring issue, is that when you're riding a superbike for example, the physics aren't quite up to par as they should be. You should be hanging your tire going through the gears, not just first gear. It just doesn't feel like you have that much power, but you do. Especially something like a Kawasaki H2R, you're only doing wheelies through maybe three gears, where as in real life, you see guys wheeling in six gear.

One thing, I haven't had to deal with much if any at all is game crashes or having to deal with Milestone. I've had one game crash in my entire time playing the game and it was easily resolved. I've heard other people having game crashes all the time and it makes it unplayable. I have not had anything like that, so I wouldn't judge the game as quickly on those negative reviews. With that being said, I've also seen some of the same bugs in the game since launch that Milestone haven't fixed so it's kind of a two way street.

In conclusion, yes there's a few negatives, but for general playing and having fun on quick mode, it's amazing. Most of the physics are realistic and it does take sometime to get used to. There's lots of series to play in career mode and they added more with downloadable content. They're not currently updating the game because they're in the process of making Ride 4, but I'd suggest giving this one a go, because it's really fun and relaxing. With the next game I'd hope they'd fix some of these issues and it would probably be the best racing game out there.

a lot of motorcycle
