Leider war es nicht sio ein Straßenfeger, hat sich für mich aber trotzdem gelohnt!
Ich fand es klasse! oben unten? scheiss egal! ;)

Ein Geniales Game was Richtig Spass macht.
Ich kann es nicht mit anderen Vergleichen da es kein bekanntes game gibt was ich mit denn Vergleichen könnte.

I still love playing this game against bots, even though the multiplayer servers have long since gone. It would be great if someone could host a server, as we can probably use Pi-hole to redirect the traffic. All we need is the original server addresses to redirect the game to another location. I know it's possible, just need a bit of community effort to get it hosted somewhere.

Great concept for a game that was sadly killed off by the publisher. I can't recommend it in its current abandoned state.

The amount of movement and player freedom is amazing. A shame that you cannot purchase this any more. There isnt anygame quite like it but it is a great astronaught game

Even ten years later, I still install and play it for a few hours once or twice a year. A magnificent concept, never fully realized. It's a shame it's no longer for sale.

I don't know how I ended up with this - probably some bundle. By the time I got to play it, it had been taken off the Steam store and multiplayer was well and truly dead. All that said, for a game I got for probably next to nothing, the single player bot gameplay is still very playable. If only there were a few more bells and whistles. I'm sure I'll come back to this game once in awhile when I want some good old fashioned pew pew in excellent, Prey-esque orbital environments. If it's sitting in your Steam library, give it a play, at least for history's sake. It's worth it.

No longer works for me on Win10, but a great game. Boundary is a spiritual successor that will be coming out soon. Looking forward to getting into space FPS combat once again.

It was a fun game, a cool concept, sadly not much people played it.
If you ever come across this review and think you could have enjoyed Shattered Horizon then i suggest you keep an eye on Boundary.
A promising upcoming game currently in development by the Chinese indie game studio Surgical Scalpels.
Almost same stuff, zero g gunfights in space.

it's a nice and unique game. as much it was a fantastic game, it was really underrated. would buy again if there would be a remaster coming up. i feel sorry for everyone who can't take a look at it anymore...

This game rocked my f^cking SOCKS OFF when it came out! I HATE competitive shooters but damn I rose through the ranks like lightning with this game and everything about it was enjoyable, even when you died. It's a D@MN shame this got removed....it needs a second wind. How does absolute trash like Fortnite become popular while games that are passion projects and art get thrown away?! This game was ahead of its time. I am blessed to have the memories that I got from this. Thanks Futuremark, you deserve a statue in your honor!

Notice: At the request of the publisher, Shattered Horizon is no longer available for sale on Steam.

At least the store page is still up. I've owned this game for many years. Hard a hard time finding people that played, not just owned the game. The space view looks great to me, even on an older system. Much better now with my newer one. Played against bots most of my time in game. Servers are gone now yet, some still try to keep one running but, it's only running on scheduled times.

It just need dedicated servers and players.

I know it is technically pointless to write a review for a game no-one can purchase anymore but here it is anyway...

+ A refreshing FPS take on combat in space, with free movement in any direction
+ Graphics hold up pretty well given the game's age...as you'd expect from Futuremark
+ good mix of maps with differing environments (eg, asteroid fields, space stations etc)
+ different player weapon classes
+ Player movement handles well given the 360degree freedom
+ Bots are decent to play against and can be challenging on hardest setting

- FOV is too narrow
- needs no hud options menu
- needed a peertopeer (nondedicated) server option for drop in/out players
- game is dead in terms of multiplay

Overall, this game is a gem and deserves better treatment than to languish in an unsellable state. At least it has bots so I can keep playing.

My favorite zero-gravity shooter. I mean, you can spin 360° around and your aiming and position is always relative to you where you are and where you are facing. You can shoot someone who is horizontal to you, or even spinning at the time with his thrusters. It's awesome. And graphically it's really really good looking. The only downside is that there are few people playing. But this easily beats other shooters in terms of gameplay and originality.

The layer of movement added by the full six degrees of freedom makes it one of the most interesting shooters. The maps layout complexity is increased accordingly which allows realizing the full potential of the movement mechanics. You can go at your opponent from any direction, and you will have to look all around to avoid being surprised by people sneaking up on you. If you need to get to cover, there's always a lot of options in every direction. Navigating around the floating debris and obstacles in space is a unique feeling that this game provides masterfully. The various grenades have very interesting effects that add quite a bit to the depth of the game.

Although not many people play it online anymore, there still is a small core of regular players, enough to have a lot of fun. UPDATE: This is unfortunately not true anymore. The game is no longer played online on a regular basis.
