The Haunted: Hells Reach bezeichnet sich als Horror-First person Action Spiel und legt den Fokus auf eine intensive Mehrspieler-Erfahrung. Es wird auch einen Einzelspieler Modus geben, in denen wir dann gegen Monster und Dämonen antreten müssen.

Das Spiel wird als Download-Titel erscheinen.

Konnte mich im Solomodus, sowie im Koop einfach nicht überzeugen.

Zu viele Fehler, zu uninspiriert, pure Zeit,- und Geldverschwendung.

Kann die guten Bewertungen auf Steam nicht verstehen, denn für mich ist es absoluter Müll. Bin in einer Gegneranimation stecken geblieben und war somit gefangen in einer Endlosschleife bis zum Tod. Trash!

Ein genialer Third-Person Shooter mit ordentlich roter Farbe im Eimer. Ob im Solo-Mode oder im Koop-Mode, es macht einfach mega Spaß!

Wer auf BLOOD 'N' GORE steht mit einer ordentlichen Portion Action und am besten noch mit nem Kumpel zusammmen im Coop, der bekommt hier garantiert, was er auch will.

Mit Pistolen, Magnum (sehr durchschlagskräftig), Shotgun (Headshots ;-), Doppelläufige SG, MG, Dreifach Granatenwerfern usw. gibt es mehr als genug Tötungswerkzeuge um den Höllengestalten den Garaus zu machen. Die Finishing Moves runden das blutige Treiben ab, nachdem man einen Gegner bewusstlos geschlagen hat.
Ihr müsst bestimmte Missionen beim z.B. Inferno Modus, beispielsweise innerhalb einer bestimmten Zeit Dinge einsammeln oder jemanden Töten, bevor die gefählichen Tornados kommen. Das Spiel nutzt die Unreal Engine und läuft auch auf älteren Rechner ziemlich flüssig und das Setting sieht auch sehr schön (Burgen, Festungen, Wüsten usw.)

GEBALLER von vorne bis hinten und reichlich fließt das Lebenssaft aus allen erdenklichen Löchern von diesen Mutanten oder Höllen-Monstern.
Solo-Kampagne und Multiplayer ist alles drinne. Das Spiel ist definitiv unterbewertet.

Wer auf Killing Floor oder Left 4 Dead steht, sollte hier auf jeden Fall zugreifen.

Great game! Very well balanced HARDCORE ACTION with nice visuals and explosive weapons. God knows mercy, the Haunted don't.

Ist genauso spaßig, wie es in dem Trailer aussieht. Hat nur leider eine winzige Userbase. Gerade mal 1 Server mit Spielern, wenn man Glück hat. Es ist definitiv den Preis und einen Blick wert :)

Das Spiel ist wirklich der Hammer, extremes gemetzel, Blut und man steht immer unter Adrenalin ^^ ein Mix aus L4D und Killing Floor nur das es süchtig macht Monster zu killen. Kann es nur empfehlen für diesen Preis.

Pretty amusing game from a bygone era of gaming. Despite the insane amount of time between updates it's very cool to see passionate devs(?) work on something like this.

If you read this devs; please allow me to remove the god awful motion blur and unlock my framerate, it isn't 2011 anymore.

Ive not written a review for this game its time i did.

Its quite a good game considering it came from a Unreal make something competition then turned into a retail product. It's easily a steam gem.

The roundup

Graphics 8/10 - not cutting edge does the job
Gameplay 9/10 - cant get much better
Performance 7/10 - i've never experienced much lag mileage may vary
Replayability 10/10

Its a great game for cooperative play, unfortunately features no Deathmatch mode perhaps it is possible to setup a custom game with the dedicated server but using the game client its self there's no option. Ive suggested to the dev's in the past they should add Deathmatch.

There's tons of weapons and weapons upgrades the game just keeps giving. Plenty of nooks and crannies to explore on maps its overall a good experience. If most modern games were made like this we'd never have a shortage of new games worth playing. I recommend trying it, if its not your cup of tea get a refund. Not everyone likes fps's. In a way the gameplay style reminds me a little of Gear of War 1. Also features some nice weather effects something that always got me.

Its worth it at the current price, its a real bargain on sale.

Notably after a long hiatus issues surrounding the ip have finally been resolved and a team is working on bringing new dlc's to the table, the first a map has been released the second has just been announced as of the date of this review which from the looks of it is another map but additional content is always welcome.

Fun game to play with friends, just know the community has been dead for a while. If you intend to make an online co-op match and expect anyone to join that you haven't personally invited, you're going to be disappointed. That being said, this is a fun time waster to run with friends. The game is entertaining and fast paced, weapons and melee attacks feel satisfying, cheesy one liners from your character are amusing but never get to be annoying and the graphics are surprisingly good. It lacks polish in areas and has its fair share of bugs, but nothing game breaking. Don't expect anything innovative or groundbreaking, it's essentially an arena shooter with four person co-op. The point is if you're expecting a triple A sleeper hit, you're going to be disappointed. However, if you're looking for a fun, inexpensive shoot-em-up to play with your friends that suffers from a slight lack of polish, it's worth picking up for less than $10.

Silly game to spend some hours with friends. Nothing too deep, nothing to complex, gets boring but not that fast.

Dont be a cheap fuck, give it a try.

The Haunted: Hells Reach is a first-person shooter game, with an orientation between action and horror. The objective is simple, you must kill the variety of demons (minions) of a certain map to be able to fight against Abaddon, the supreme demon. The game can be a single player or a coop game for up to four people. Even the lines of dialogue of the 4 characters are curious, but they soon become repetitive. Players will have to last the number of waves of minions before reaching the final stage. In each place you can find a variety of hidden weapons and types of grenades. Enemies will drop a weapon upgrade based on current experience points. A bar will fill for that enemy to drop the weapon upgrade. There is a variety of weapons: melees, pistols, smg and shotguns can be upgraded. In addition, you can do some combos to avoid losing consecutive kills that allow you to obtain weapon upgrades faster. There are different scenarios in the game. In each map that one will have a change of natural phenomena that affect the game. Thunderstorms, for example, can affect or can benefit the game. The bad thing, the fight against Abaddon will be in the same place, in hell. It took a change of scenery for the 'boss'. The enemies are varied and with some special techniques, when they get angry. Also, the other point against is in the intelligence of the enemies. Sometimes they huddle in one place until they are left doing nothing. By the way, if you play it alone, the waves become tedious and many times the actions become too repetitive. The game is interesting if you play it with several people or friends, as there is a cooperative, survival and versus mode. Although, it seems like a forgotten game and sometimes there will be servers with occasional matches. If you want to see a bloodbath, this game can be an interesting option and for your friends.

its an ok shooter. but i cant lie that it feels really clunky and almost like the enemies are like bad poorly programmed ai ripped from like a free unity game maker or something but its mindless fun if thats what your looking for

Pretty decent for what it is. Repetative as all hell, but if you're in for some mindless co-op mayhem, there's WAY worse picks. The zombie master mode is intriguing, too bad I personally suck at strategy things.

This negative review is for Windows 10 users.

This game's solo player maps looked very cool to me. But since the game was released
in 2011, it unfortunately does have Windows 10 compatibility issues. The game did start for me, but it started in a small window; about 1 inch high and about 6 inches long. This makes navigating the startup menu all but impossible!

This review will indicate that I have about 5 hours in this game, but much of that was trying to get the game to run the way I wanted it too. And yes, you can run the game with limited success in a Windows 7 compatibility mode. After getting the game to run with very large black borders on the right and left side; I decided to play several sessions with the game setup that way.

Last night though, for some unknown reason, the game reverted back to the 1 inch X 6 inch window it started out with. Sadly, as a result of this, I will more than likely uninstall what I had hoped would be a fun third person shooter game.
