Kernfeatures:
  • Zombies töten und Bier trinken: noch Fragen?
  • Jede Menge Popkultur-Referenzen und Parodien
  • eigens gepublished und 100-prozentiges Indie-Entwickler-Delirium
  • Zombabes sind sexy und abscheulich

From the delicious brains of Moonbite Games PadaOne Games and U&I Entertainment comes an enhanced and updated version of Zombeer, a first-person shooter that is an unapologetically irreverent homage to everything kick-ass about zombie movies and drinking beer.

With new narrative content from writers at Comedy Central, Zombeer is packed with humorous reference to classic zombie flicks of the past and, of course, a healthy supply of ammo and beer.

In the near (and some might say lucky) future, there is a pandemic as a result of a virus that transforms the world’s population into zombies. That’s not the lucky part – it’s this: Once bitten by a zombie, the only way to stave off the infection is drinking beer!

Playing as the hero “K,” a survivor inflicted with the zombie virus and a wicked perpetual hangover, players must make their way through the zombie apocalypse managing a balance of sobriety and carnage to find his girlfriend Karen and get out before it’s too late!

Features
  • Enhanced For Your (PC) Pleasure: The updated and enhanced version of Zombeer has been optimized to maximize PC players experience. Refined controls, interactivity and improved weapons are just some of the additionsl made to ensure a visceral good time.
  • More Jokes For That Tasty Funny Bone: Zombeer brings the funny with new story content from writers at Comedy Central
  • New Tunes To Tease The Braaaiinnn!: Zombeer includes an update soundtrack with new music for Red Bull Record’s own Five Knives and more! All perfectly suited to jam to while raising hell in the zombie apocalypse.
  • Headshots are the very best: Players can now score headshots off zombies with bloody satisfying results. Remember to always double tap and don’t be stingy with the bullets.
  • Chug, Chug, Chug: Find the perfect balance of sobriety and carnage as players must chug Zombeer to prevent turning into one themselves , but be careful, too much of that stuff will make you hurl, limiting your mobility.

Zombeer!

I bought this game for around £2 on sale after seeing the review by Gmanlives on YT. It's a fun game with a good art style and a lot of spoofs of horror films. Letdown by slippery mouse aiming and a tedious sniper shooting section which I found really difficult.

Zombeer isn't a bad game but it feels like you're some frat kid in a bland shooter who has to keep a buzz or die. i know some people didn't like this mechanic though it's a big part of the game. if you drink to much you'll start to get drunk swaying with your vision getting all messed up, keep drinking past this and you'll die from alcohol poisoning (there's a zombie that can force this) but if you don't drink you'll see purple, lose the ability to use weapons, and can only walk, then finally you'll become a zombie (dead...game over).
it does have a few issues that would keep most from buying it. to rattle off some: fist off FUCK QTE!!! there are only a few and they only have a couple of button presses but they still end up being an inconvenience, you can tell this is an indie game (lacks polish), there's no health meter, weapons are bland, the game is short and the ending is unfulfilling. for an indie game it's got charm out the ass though. there are video game/film references all over the place and the humor is cute though childish (kinda fits with the drunk frat boy theme).

it's cute, cheap, but not for everyone, unless you have a fetish for big bouncing zombie boobs. then it's a must buy!

2 hours, short but fun game. The shooting felt off, especially with the Octocanon, but overall the game is funny enough to pull me through. I wish it hadn't ended on a to be continued, wonder if a sequel will ever be made. It came out on multiple consoles and platforms so I'd hope so. It gets a yes from me, a light yes, but for $5, a yes.

Let me start by saying I managed to stomach a complete play though. So I have seen the entire game, with that said this game is pretty bad. However there are three things I feel people should know about before even considering this game.

THERES NO ENDING!

This seriously ticks me off! The game literally has no ending it just cuts off. The game even goes as far as to tell you they ran out of funs while your playing the game. but guess what? NO WHERE on the store page does it tell me this game is unfinished…

Poor Controls
Controller buttons are not labeled properly during gameplay. Why is this a problem? Because this game had the wonderful idea of adding parts to the game where you must hit the proper buttons Quickly in the right order at certain parts or die instantly in most cases. Telling me to hit joystick 1 for X button then expecting me to do it within 1 second is annoying, even more so when there are very high penalties for messing up, (usually death). Another issue with controls that if you plan on using a controller be ready to feel frustrated

Drink or die

Yep you must constantly drink if you forget to or run out you will get game over. I should note there is plenty of beer throughout the entire game and you should almost never run out. So why is it a issue? It drains FAST and becomes annoying while you are in combat plan and simple. Having to worry about the gauge while I’m trying to focus on fighting (which is pretty low grade as well) is tedious.

Bottom line I wish the DEVS spent less time and money on developing breast physics, and more time actually finishing or fine tuning a game. at any rate if a game with no ending, and unpolished gameplay is a problem for you stay clear.

P.S. I will note I was harsher due to there being no ending(and no warning about it..) if the devs go back and add one I will update my review but there are many other issues to be address to, The down side is the idea seemed interesting it was just executed poorly.

It's stupid, and it knows it. If you've watch the trailer you know exactly what to expect. There's zomboobies, stupid humor, goofy weapons, and it all works. It's fun and it'll make you giggle. It doesn't really do anything new, but it doesn't need to, it manages to stay entertaining for it's full 1.5-2 hours of gameplay. Really, thats my only complaint, it's short, but they left things open for a sequel so hopefully that happens.
