Die Story
Hinterhof der Klosterschule: Lilli muss zuerst Laub harken!

Klosterschülerin Lilli ist die Hauptfigur von Harveys Neue Augen, dem neuen Adventure von Daedalic und rondomedia. Das auf den ersten Blick äußerst brave Mädchen erledigt gewissenhaft all ihre Aufgaben, egal wie ungerecht diese auch sind. Die unschuldige, gleichmütige Art mit der sie ohne zu reflektieren den Anweisungen Anderer folgt, hat etwas gleichsam Tragisches wie auch Unheimliches. Jeglichen Ärger, jegliche Kindlichkeit vergräbt sie tief in ihrem Inneren. Und falls doch einmal etwas Unangenehmes in ihrer Umgebung passiert, gibt es ja immer noch die fröhlichen Zensurgnome. Die pinseln alles rosa an, mit dem sich Lilli lieber nicht auseinandersetzen möchte. Sie sind also nicht nur lustig, sondern auch extrem praktisch. Aber sind Lillis kleine kartoffelförmige Freunde echt oder nur ein Produkt ihres lebendigen Unterbewusstseins?

Es ist wohl nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis sie irgendwann einmal vollkommen überschnappen wird!

Finger weg! Dieses Spiel kann ich niemandem empfehlen. Absolut frustrierend und erbärmlich, dass das Spiel immer noch nicht gepatched ist. Man spielt stundenlang, nur um dann an gewissen Punkten im Spiel nicht weiter zu kommen und dann im Internet zu erfahren, dass der Bug schon seit Jahren bekannt ist und man nun nur 2 Optionen hat: Neu anfangen oder einen Spielstand herunterladen. Wenn man aber nun versucht das Spiel ohne Lösung zu spielen hängt man ewig in diesen Szenen fest, bis man dann aufgibt und doch googelt... nur um dann so etwas zu erfahren. Lächerlich... Hände weg!

Wenn man seit mehr als 5 Jahre es NICHT schaft den Bug beim Schamanen wegen dem Vendigo Dialog Option zu fixxen, kann ich das Game nur Schlecht bzw. Negativ Bewerten. Einzige Lösung, da so oder so nie ein Patch mehr kommen wird, man muss sich so ein blöden Savegamestand vom Entwickler Herunterladen. Was für ein Blödsinn...

Selten wurde ich von einem Spiel so enttäuscht wie von diesem. Ein seit Jahren bekannter Dialog-Bug, der in 2021 immer noch nicht gefixed wurde, hindert einem am Spielfortschritt, da die benötigten Dialoge fehlen.

Da es nach 9 Jahren immer noch nicht gefixed wurde, ist dies das erste Daedelic Spiel, welches ich niemandem empfehlen würde.

Voller herrlichem und tiefschwarzen Humor. Leider wird es nach Teil 1 etwas kuddelmuddelig, aber Lilli ist so ein liebes Mädchen und begeistert bis zum Schluss.

Wer auf Point&Click steht fährt mit Daedalic Entertainment eigentlich immer gut, und Edna bricht aus / Harveys neue Augen sind mit Deponia große Aushängeschilder des Genres. Cooles Studio, absolut großartiges Spiel. Habe die Teile schon öfter durchgespielt (nur nicht auf Steam, daher die niedrige Studenzahl)

Harveys neue Augen

Eines vorweg: Wer Adventures und schwarzen Humor mag, der sollte das Spiel ohne zu Zögern sofort kaufen.

Die Story ist zwar etwas speziell, dafür sehr gut geschrieben und mit viel schwarzen Humor ausgestattet, der vor allem durch die sarkastischen Bemerkungen des Narrators hervorgehoben wird. Sie wird auf jeden Fall durch viele denkwürdige und sarkastisch-komische Momente in Erinnerung bleiben.

Auch die Charaktere sind im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes gestört gut, aber diese Erfahrung sollte jeder selbst machen.

Die Grafik ist trotz des fortgeschrittenen Alter des Spiels sehr schön anzusehen, die kindliche Zeichentrickgrafik verleiht dem schwarzen Humor im Spiel einen angenehmen ironischen Charakter.

Die Vertonung ist hervorragend, wie auch die Soundkulisse, die sich jedoch oft wiederholt, das stört aber gar nicht. Sehr groß hervorzuheben sind die amüsanten Lieder, die von den Entwicklern selbst beigesteuert wurden (Nadel und Faden, Edna bricht aus).

Die gut gemachten Rätsel erfordern zwar manchmal etwas Kopfeinsatz, sie sind aber weder zu leicht noch zu schwer und kommen nicht zu oft oder zu selten vor. Sie sind im ganzen Spielverlauf sehr gut verteilt.

Das einzig negative am Spiel ist ein großer Bug im zweiten Drittel des Spiels, der den Spieler beim Weiterkommen hindert (Schamane im Westerndorf). Die einzige Lösung besteht dass man eine Speicherdatei runterlädt die von den Entwicklern glücklicherweise zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Für mich unerklärlich dass es nach neun Jahren immer noch keine Lösung für diesen Bug gibt. Da das Spiel aber sonst bugfrei ist und man so viele Speicherstände haben kann wie man will, sehe ich aber über diesen Bug weg.

Nichtsdestotrotz empfehle ich das Spiel nur zu gerne weiter.

Jeder der etwas mit Adventures, schwarzen Humor und gutem Storytelling anfangen kann macht hier nicht falsch.

Schönes Spiel und eigentlich würdiger Nachfolger von Edna bricht aus. Warum würde ich dieses Spiel also nicht empfehlen? Es enthält leider einen Bug, der den jeden Spielstand ruinieren kann, und einen zwingt, komplett von vorn anzufangen.

Man muss für einige Figuren im Spiel Aufgaben erledigen, um in der Story voranzuschreiten. Ich hatte bei zwei seperaten Spielständen und bei zwei unterschiedlichen Figuren die notwendigen Aufgaben erledigt, gespeichert, und dann zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt das Spiel weiterspielen wollen. Die erledigten Aufgaben waren noch immer erledigt, die Figur hat die Aufgaben aber als nicht ausgeführt angesehen.
Ich hatte zum Beispiel bereits das Messer für die Köchin Doris abgegeben, nach dem Laden war das Messer weder an seinem ursprünglichen Ort, noch im Inventar, und dennoch wurde mir von der Köchin erneut gesagt, dass sie ein Messer brauche.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass dieser Bug noch gefixt wird (auch wenn ich zugegebenermaßen nicht daran glaube), da das Spiel eigentlich durchaus Spaß macht und ich ihm gerne eine bessere Bewertung geben würde...

Das Spiel ist generell super, aber wenn die Entwickler Bugs auch nach 3 Jahren nicht beheben, sollte man darauf verzichten das Spiel zu kaufen.

Edna & Harvey sind zurück und Havey hat gleich neue Augen mitgebracht. Der erste Teil der Spiele erschien 2008 und war so etwas wie der große Durchbruch für Deadelic, sowohl als Studio, als auch als Publisher. Drei Jahre danach folgte Harveys neue Augen.

Die Story

[spoiler]Die Story ist schnell erzählt. Ähnlich wie im ersten Teil steuern wir ein geistig labiles, junges Mädchen. Dieses mal müssen wir nicht aus einer Irrenanstalt entkommen, sondern die Aufgaben der Mutter Oberin einer Klosterschule erfüllen, bis uns ein altbekannter Antagonist über den Weg läuft: Dr. Marcel. Mithilfe von Edna versuchen wir sowohl die Schulleitung, als auch Dr. Marcel zu überlisten. Im Zentrum steht dabei Ednas Hase, Harvey. [/spoiler]

Das Spiel hat ein gewohntes offnes Ende, also speichert in jedem Fall euer Spiel, wenn ihr Harvey den Hasen repariert habt.

Technik

Auch neun Jahre nach Veröffentlichung des Spieles lässt sich dieses flüssig und zeitgemäß Steuern und Spielen. Ich für meinen Teil habe gerade eine Menge Point & Click Adventure gekauft, um mir die Abende im Corona-Bann zu vertreiben. Gut, dass es das mega Angebot von Deadelic gab.

Wenn ihr Fans von Spielen und Geschichten seid, die sich selbst nicht allzu ernst nehmen, dann solltet ihr das Spiel auf jeden Fall spielen. Seid ihr nicht albern genug, macht einen Bogen drumherum.

Die Frage die sich mir auch bereits bei Teil eins gestellt hat: darf man ein Spiel über den brüchigen Geistes Zustand junger Kinder machen, die zwar voll bespickt mit schwarzem Humor und Relativierungen der bösen Absicht der Entwickler, aber am Ende doch ein humoriges Adventure sind? Ich für meinen Teil haben auf diese Frage keine Antwort. Ich spiele das Game wirklich gerne, auch wenn wie bei allen P&Cs von Deadelic, das Game spätestens nach zehn Stunden durch ist.

Da es nun neun Jahre her ist, dass der letzte Edna Teil herauskam, wird es wohl allzubald keinen weiteren geben. Aber wenn, dann sicher ohne Edna. Oder doch nicht?

Harvey's Neue Augen ist ein tolles Spiel, vor allem die Ironie und den schwarzen Humor der Geschichte.
Gewisse Verläufe oder Minispiele sind jedoch nicht einmal so einfach wie ich immer dachte.

Zum Negativen:
Zweimal musste ich ein neues Savegame herunterladen, da wichtige Dialoge nicht angezeigt wurden. Ist aber keine grosse Sache.

The game is broken.

In chapter two, if you do not talk to the shaman and gold digger in the correct order, the game bugs and you cannot progress any further. The fact that the developers have known about and acknowledged this existing issue on several forums for YEARS yet have done nothing to fix it has me tossing their game in the garbage. Seriously, save your money or buy something like the Monkey Island series (which isn't broken).

I have just started playing the game for about 2hrs, and I can say: This is NOT for the fainthearted.
This game deals with how bullies speak to a girl, who is trying to impress the teacher/nun, but everyone just picks on her, except for one friend and a 'senpai' figure. Think twice before playing the story as it deals with sensitive situations(trigger warning for self-esteem).

So far, the mechanics and layout follows an old school point and click story telling game.
All voices are acted out.
Some puzzles requires thinking and not straight forward.

Warning: Bug that stops the story from advancing since 2011/2016. Further information on problem in discussion named ''Bug in Shaman'. Solution sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

After finishing 3 endings:

I love the 3rd ending. The last scene REALLY asked deep in my heart. As an asian person, I want to be like the main character too. Oh, and the male character reminds me of my primary school classmate, and I dreamt of him yesterday.

Worth getting the Story or not? Yes. There is highs and lows. Emotional, yet straight forward. Puzzles are are tough, but gives you the option to skip at the same time.

This game would suit people who loves 90s storybook quest like style story.

Finally I'm not alone pretending that I have no clue that all my classmates are being murdered in cold blood. Edna is on this act as well! No remorse, freedom of doing what you want and power of little angry girl. Nobody is going to stop you from eating spoiled and hot mayonnaise. That's exactly what you want, right? RIGHT?

Apart from a couple bugs, and me being an idiot, I loved this game. I've played both this and Edna & Harvey the Breakout and I'd say that in terms of story the first game is slightly better but other than that both games are engaging, sad, and fun.

Just to put out front Edna is only a supporting role in this sequel she is not the main character. That being said this game i enjoyed not as much as the first one but its still good. They do a fairly good job of explaining what needed to be explained if you didn't play the first one. I still would recommended playing the first one but its not needed. This game gave a lot of laughs and a lot setup for the dark humor that comes to be that just makes you go .... oh no. I say this is not as good as the original for two reasons. One its a lot shorter than the original and two it rides the coattails of the first one a lot. Some things just aren't as funny if you didn't fully understand the characters from the first one.

Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes is a point and click adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment.

Gameplay / Story

The game begins in a strict boarding school run by a female monastic order. The head of the monastery order is Abbess Ignatz. One of the students is Lilli, the main character. She is a shy, insecure little girl who doesn't dare speak publicly. She does not have opinions of her own (or is afraid to say them) and performs all charged tasks. Another student is Edna and it is obvious that she is not as crazy as in The Breakout. The abbess can no longer bear the youthful behavior. That's why she wants to get Doctor Marcel. He needs to brainwash the children so that they will all be good and humble. When Edna hears this news, she wants to flee: She pushed Doctor Marcel down the stairs at the end of The Breakout and left him for dead, although she cannot remember the reason. She is now afraid that Doctor Marcel will want revenge if he finds her. Therefore Edna gives Lilli the task of removing all evidence of Edna's presence.

The game takes place in a 2D cartoon world. The player controls Lilli. Unlike most other adventure games, there are no clickable dialogs. After the player has clicked on a character, a bar appears with some symbols that indicate a topic. The game also does not have a list of actions such as walking, looking, speaking, picking up, using. If applicable, items are automatically added to inventory when the user clicks them. In addition, the user must combine items in their inventory to create new ones (or modify existing items). Objects in the inventory can be assigned to other characters or combined with items that are not in the inventory. Since the main character of this game is interrupted every time he tries to speak, a narrator gives the necessary explanations. He has a dark sense of humor and comments on Lilli's actions accordingly.

Das Spiel beginnt in einem strengen Internat, das von einem weiblichen Klosterorden geleitet wird. Der Leiter des Klosterordens ist Äbtissin Ignatz. Eine der Schülerinnen ist Lilli, die Hauptfigur. Sie ist ein schüchternes, unsicheres kleines Mädchen, das es nicht wagt, öffentlich zu sprechen. Sie hat keine eigenen Meinungen (oder hat Angst, sie zu sagen) und führt alle aufgeladenen Aufgaben aus. Eine andere Schülerin ist Edna und es ist offensichtlich, dass sie nicht so verrückt ist wie in Der Ausbruch. Die Äbtissin kann das jugendliche Verhalten nicht mehr ertragen. Deshalb will sie Doktor Marcel holen. Er muss die Kinder einer Gehirnwäsche unterziehen, damit sie alle gut und bescheiden sind. Als Edna diese Nachricht hört, will sie fliehen: Sie schob Doktor Marcel am Ende von The Breakout die Treppe hinunter und ließ ihn für tot zurück, obwohl sie sich nicht an den Grund erinnern kann. Sie hat jetzt Angst, dass Doktor Marcel Rache will, wenn er sie findet. Deshalb gibt Edna Lilli die Aufgabe, alle Beweise für Ednas Anwesenheit zu entfernen.

Das Spiel spielt in einer 2D-Cartoon-Welt. Der Spieler kontrolliert Lilli. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Abenteuerspielen gibt es keine anklickbaren Dialoge. Nachdem der Spieler auf einen Charakter geklickt hat, erscheint eine Leiste mit einigen Symbolen, die auf ein Thema hinweisen. Das Spiel hat auch keine Liste mit Aktionen wie Gehen, Schauen, Sprechen, Aufnehmen, Verwenden. Falls zutreffend, werden Artikel automatisch zum Inventar hinzugefügt, wenn der Benutzer darauf klickt. Darüber hinaus muss der Benutzer Objekte in seinem Inventar kombinieren, um neue zu erstellen (oder vorhandene Elemente zu ändern). Objekte im Inventar können anderen Charakteren zugewiesen oder mit Gegenständen kombiniert werden, die nicht im Inventar enthalten sind. Da die Hauptfigur dieses Spiels bei jedem Sprachversuch unterbrochen wird, gibt ein Erzähler die nötigen Erklärungen. Er verfügt über einen schwarzen Humor und kommentiert Lillis Taten entsprechend.

A spin-off from the first Edna & Harvey game. Sadly, you won’t find the same amount of interactions possible with objects, but the humor is still here and this time, due to the protagonist being almost mute, there’s a narrator describing the various things happening on screen, with tons of good ol’ black humor ofc!
The artistic style is very similar to the predecessor and the soundtrack is well thought as well.
A big no in this game, especially for hardcore fans of graphical adventures, is represented by enigmas. They will often be pretty simple, if not obvious, with a few ecceptions.
How I wish this saga could continue with new games! :D

Despite the art style and MC being a little kid with her stuffed bunny, it's dark humour. You basically spend the 1st chapter [spoiler]innocuously killing all the kids in the orphanage. Not one was left alive![/spoiler]

Animation pacing is a little slower compared to Deponia. But still very much enjoyable.

Unfortunately, no.

The state that the game is in prevents me from giving it a positive review. It has too many bugs, some are even game-breaking, preventing you from continuing. I had to replay the game to finish it and be very specific about what I do and who I talk to. Then there are smaller bugs - noise on some levels, characters disappearing, text not showing properly. Shame on Daedalic for not taking care of that. Achievements can also be bugged, or are rather bad - some require you to click an item 100 times.

As the game itself, I do recommend it, very nice point and click adventure, good music and visuals, funny story.

A very well made Point & Click adventure. The humor is dark, but it's brought in a cartoonish and friendly way. The game itself is brilliant. Good puzzles with the strange logic of P&C adventures. A lot of different areas. Good and easy interface. All text is also spoken with good voice acting. The music fits the different areas. I have spent 10+ hours to complete the game 1 time. All in all loads of fun, absolutely recommended.
A PIECE OF ADVISE:
Press F5 regularly to save the game in a new slot. There was a point where I did things in the wrong order, stopping me from continuing to the next part and I had to start over from scratch.

Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes is another game which, much like their Deponia series, earns itself a small recommendation for those that enjoy cartoony dark comedy-styled point-and-click adventure games. In my opinion it isn’t among the best in its genre, so not ideal for newcomers exploring new kinds of games, but for veteran clickers it is a decent enough addition to your library. Though in fairness, I would rank this above the Deponia series, if I were to make a list. Just to address the elephant-bunny in the room, I did not realize this was a sequel to an old game until near the end, (I just assumed it was a fully original game with a weird title) and I feel like some story-points might have been more twist than obvious with that knowledge, but the game can be fully experienced without having to know anything about the first one.

The Comedy is Hit or Miss

No surprise, there right? Comedy is a subjective art, but for me I really don’t think the narrator works the majority of the time. He is more just a weird choice to have there to describe how the main character is thinking and feeling most of the time. I would actually have preferred silence, maybe then some of the chaotic and disturbing things that are happening might have come as more of a surprise, and we the player could try and imagine if the main character is just a little sadist or blissfully dumb. The only times where I felt he was somewhat funny was during a couple of the fourth wall breaks.
[spoiler]The best joke of the game comes as one of the multiple choices at the end. If you choose to contradict four times, the main character finally gets some full lines of dialogue, where she tells everyone to stop. And goes on a small angry rant. Kinda has the same humor as the end of Stick of Truth. Finally telling everyone off for dragging her through crazy and dumb stuff.[/spoiler]
There is also the problem of going dark early in the game, kinda the problem of blowing your comedic load too soon. Because everything past that can only level out or go smaller. So, you never really end up surprised by the results of your actions after the first time. [spoiler]The entirety of chapter 1 is pretty much just a murder-fest of “accidentally” taking out every other child around.[/spoiler] Ironically the game gets better once it moves away from trying to be shocking dark [spoiler]killing everyone around[/spoiler] and moves more into just bizarre adventure hijinks. [spoiler]Like getting yourself sick, having to ‘fix’ yourself from hypnosis, or try to deal with the mad, the weird, and cowardly npcs.[/spoiler]

Style, Characters, and the World

The narrator fills too much in the game. And it sort of makes all the other characters fall into the scenery with no one becoming very memorable. [spoiler]Of course added by killing most of the cast introduced in the first chapter does not help you get attached to anyone.[/spoiler] I also have a small problem with the world. Outside of a few instances, the world seems just as zany as your actions. This creates a comedic problem because there’s no conflict or reaction. Simply weird stuff happening. Doing weird stuff in a serious world, or placing a reasonable & logical protagonist in a zany world would be more funny.
I feel however that the style of the game is great. The simple cartoony look makes for a great blend with dark comedy, as it helps keep the gamer distant from what is going on. Like with South Park and similar adult comedy shows. From the screenshots though, I thought they were going for a Marvin the Martian look, you know a lot of characters just not having mouths and expressing themselves through the eyes and movements… but they went with them having mouths that look a bit weird while talking. I think it would have looked better to just not have the mouths for those characters, but it was the choice they went with even if I am not sure why. Seems like more work for negative benefit.

Puzzles

In the end, what matters most in a point and click adventure game is of course the puzzles, and there the game is rather decent. There was only one illogical puzzle for me (one where even after I looked up the solution, I still doesn’t even have any idea why that was the solution). And near the end there was a bug related to a minigame [spoiler]Apparently one of the genie’s moves broke the chess game, so had to kill him early on to finish it.[/spoiler], but overall, it was a solid enough experience, where I had a general idea of what to do next throughout. Again, I know I have probably given a lot of criticism to the game, but it also only gets a little up, and that is because it does the fundamentals of its genre well, even if the comedy is meh.

Tbh i didn't want to write this negative review, because i like this game. But considering that this game has bugs that can mess up your playthrough, sprites that are changing if you are skipping the dialog very fast (With this bug it gives impression like the game glitched.) i wouldn't recomend this game with the original price. Imo you should get it only with big discount or a medium one.

This point & click game is so freaking hilarious. I am a big fan of the dark humor. The puzzles are a little bit wacky and you often have to think outside the box. I was entertained from start to finish.

I bought this game when it went on sale recently in the Steam store. I wasn't expecting much from this game at first, but I absolutely adored playing through this! I enjoyed this game so much that I ended up playing through it twice; one play through right after the other. I've never even played the game that comes before this one, but you really don't need to play through the first one to understand what's going on in this one. This is an amazing point and click adventure game from start to finish!

The game has great dark humor, and beautiful graphics. Narration and characters voice acting are also good.

But I can not give a positive rating due to the most annoying bugs in the UI. Sometimes when pressing ESC key the menu would not show up, which forced me to do an ALT+F4 to exit the game, and good luck saving my progress as well. And during the dialog, through the whole game, there was something like:

So it became unbearable to actually know what I was choosing, there are pictures in the dialog choices, but it helps nothing.

The bugs prevented me to actually enjoy a good game.

Great classic point and click adventure with a cool cartoon look in the likes of Curse of Monkey Island - not as detailed or inspired, but similar and really ok. It is overall waaay more refined than the previous game. It feels maybe more accessible, but that means it's less complex or more streamlined, so it goes into what level of challenge you're looking for in the adventures you play.

It maintains that dark humor that defined the first one (and maybe even goes further, I'd say), the charismatic characters and the exciting story, shocking twists included. It now has new single screen puzzles, which are really good and smart, but if you get stuck or aren't really your thing, you can skip them without any penalty.

Overall, it is a damn fine adventure, recommended for anyone interested in this genre.

Very funny point'n click adventure.

Lilli looks so innocent, but is she really?

Humor in this game is quite dark. Not the kind you'd be laughing out loud about, definitely not a slapstick. And not for children either. Don't let the looks fool you.

As with most point'n click adventures, you'll be looking for objects and using/combining them to get to the proper solutions. Most of it is quite logical. The narrator helps a lot in giving subtle clues.

Two of the puzzles were a bit far fetched though. On one occasion, I couldn't see why the order of things mattered. It shouldn't, but the game decided it did anyway. The pizza puzzle got me confused a lot as well. They used 'color blindness' as a key mechanic for that one, but it's totally not how color blindness works in reality. Plus the in-game dialog actually suggested to treat it as a real life solution, which it simply wasn't. That said, it was still a lot of fun figuring out all the puzzles.

For the achievement hunters: most of it is quite easy to get. There's some click this 15 times to get bladiebla, but after finishing the game I could get everything in one long setting. Good luck crafting 99 balloons though (evil grin).

The game isn't bug free though. If the first real mini-puzzle gives you a black screen, go to the menu and switch language to German. Go back to the puzzle (the screen should now be ok) and switch back to English or whatever languauge you're playing in. It should be fixed from now on. Also, on some occasions, a certain npc isn't visible, but you can still interact with him. It doesn't cause any gamebreaking issues, but it's strange nonetheless.

Apart from the few minor issues, it was a lot of fun to play.
Everything has to burn. Everything!

This is a really cool dark humor adventure indie puzzle game. The storyline was very funny and twisted. This game was really fun; there are a few things that could have been different though. Some of the dialog could have been a bit shorter in some parts and the achievement “loathing mini games” can be taken out. It’s not needed. All in all the game is worth the time and effort to play.

I can recommend this game. It's a typical point and click game with nice hand-drawn graphics. You get a lot well designed puzzles and will meet many funny and strange characters. The story is also quite good and has some good fitting dark elements, like the prequel. A must-buy for all genre fans.

The game also has a great working Linux version. I had one bug that prevented me from making progress. But this bug doesn't seem to be specific to Linux. Thankfully the devs have many savegames available for download that helped to work around the problem.

It's a good game, but some of the riddles are completely unsolveble for me bacause the game doesn't render it completely, instead part of the screen just goes completely black. I don't know if it's an issue with the game or my computer, but it makes me unable to make any progress in the game. therefore I really can't recommend it at this point.

Finally got around to replaying this game for the loathing mini games achievement, I really enjoyed this game and how you really had to think to progress through the story. Daedalic has become one of my favorite developers for point and click, the one annoying thing is the glitch during chapter two. Make sure to read and click every option when you are talking to a character to avoid this glitch which they still have not fixed. Other than that, it's a great game

Wonderful game, fun and a bit challenging in some puzzles. This time our protagonist is not so much .. but no spoilers here. Of course Harvey will play a decisive role.
Clever working together with him in different roles will bring you to new and known locations from game no 1. It is a sequel but not so much one, as I think, one can play it without having beaten The Breakout.

As in the first game, we have not only one ending .....
