Ich habe das Spiel genossen, nicht was ihr denkt.
Ich hatte immer viel Spaß mit den Babys, welche wehrlos auf dem Boden lagen und einfach zu smashen waren, nicht was ihr denkt.
Die schönen und reizvollen Cutszenes erweckten in mir die Lust immer tiefer und gründlicher rein zu gehen, nicht was ihr denkt.
Außerdem ist sie fucking hot, also mal erlich, das was ihr denkt.

Wer Bock auf ein extrem brutales Game mit sexuellem Content hat, für den kann das Spiel durchaus was sein.

Ich selber habe das Spiel nach 2h Spielzeit zurückgegeben, weil das Kampfsystem MIR PERSÖNLICH nicht ganz so viel Spaß gemacht hat. Auch fand ich es nicht so toll überall alte nackte Männer rumlungern zu haben. Wer das mag, soll sich an meiner Meinung nicht stören.

Was ansonsten echt gut ist, ist die Charakter-Umgestaltung, die man nach dem ersten Level nutzen kann. Die Möglichkeit seine Ausrüstung zusammenzustellen ist auch ganz simpel, aber gut gemacht. Grafisch ist das Spiel auch gut. Das man sich die Datei für die unzensierte Version extra aber kostenlos von der Entwicklerseite ziehen muss um sie zu spielen ist ok und recht simpel erklärt.

Alles in Allem gebe ich dem Spiel trotz Reklamation einen Daumen hoch.

Mord und Totschlag werden verherrlicht und klar dargestellt, Nacktheit wird verpixelt dargestellt. Was ist das für eine Moral? Wenn ich als Erwachsener ein Spiel erwerbe erwarte ich, das ich die Möglichkeit habe, mir dementsprechend meines Alters in den Optionen das Spiel einrichten zu können. Ab 18 bedeutet hier in Deutschland eben wohl doch nicht mündig.

- in der deutsche Version hier auf Steam sind alle möglichen und unmöglichen Geschlechtsteile hart verpixelt(!), was im Spiel selbst nicht deaktivierbar ist (auf der offiziellen Entwicklerseite findet man aber einen Patch zum Download, mit dem man die Zensur deaktivieren kann)
- grafisch alles andere als zeitgemäß
- seltsam zuckendes Seil bei Gehenkten
- störende Schimmereffekte bei Geschwächten Gegnern, Knochen die zerschlagen werden können, Gefangenen die gequält werden können
- peinliche Wasserdarstellung
- sehr unecht wirkendes Blut
- unschöne Haar-Physik
- Vertonung nur auf Englisch (aber deutsche Untertitel)
- kein freies Springen oder Klettern, sondern nur an dafür vorgesehenen Punkten wobei ein Punkt anvisiert werden muss, der dann geklickt werden kann, was einfach noch niemals zeitgemäß war
- maximal primitivstes und stupides Gemetzel durch viel zu viele Gegner
- „Minispiel“ bei dem gefesselte Schwangere misshandelt und deren Ungeborene rausgerissen und ebenfalls misshandelt und getötet werden können
- selbst im Story-Modus wirft das Spiel einem noch unzählige Gegner entgegen

FAZIT

Succubus von Ende 2021 ist der Nachfolger des ebenfalls schwer gestörten Agony.
Während Agony noch mehr auf Horror und kranke Ästhetik setzte, sich generell ruhiger und langsamer spielte und den Fokus etwas mehr auf Erkundung und Schleicheinlagen legte, setzt Succubus auf schnöden Splatter und hektisches Gemetzel in Gestalt einer sexbesessenen Dämonin namens Vydija, einer einstigen Königin der Hölle.
Agony vermochte man gerade noch durchzuspielen ohne allzu große geistige Schäden davonzutragen. Aber Succubus ist einfach nur noch eine peinlich, schlechte Aneinanderreihung von Finishing-Moves, bei der man sich durch hunderte Gegner schlachtet, was einfach keinen „Spaß“ macht.
Alle Spielmechaniken sind hoffnungslos veraltet und stumpf, und auch die vielen gezeigten Kontroversen möchte ich gar nicht weiter eingehen.
Lasst die Finger von diesem Schrott und behaltet besser euer Seelenheil.

Blut, Gemetzel, Sex - das perfekte Spiel für kranke Fetischisten wie mich. Wer auf intelligente Worte oder eine ausführliche Rezension hofft, der muss sich gedulden. Gut Ding will Weile haben, denn schließlich genügt ein vertauschter Buchstabe und der gesamte Satzbau ist uriniert. Kleiner Tipp: Die Zensur lässt sich via offiziellem DLC des Herstellers (Enwicklerwebsite) aushebeln. Dankt mir später...

Es ist das, was ich mir für schon für Agony erhofft hatte. Absolut brutal (Abtreibungen, Kastrationen, ...) und andererseits äh, 'schenken die Dämonen einander viel Liebe'. Bis auf Anzeigebugs , die nach nochmaligen Aufruf des Submenus verschwanden, im Moment fehlerfrei.

Also was soll man dazu sagen,
habe mir den Uncut Patch drüber gezogen und durfte mir nun seit 4,5 Stunden Spielzeit Pornos und Zerstückelung von sämtlichen Kreaturen, darunter auch Menschen versteht sich anschauen.

Das Game ist definitiv nicht für Jedermann geeignet und erst recht nicht für Minderjährige. Die Porno Szenen sind schon wirklich detailgetreu gestaltet, dass sowas wirklich zugelassen wurde erstaunt mich. Der Gewaltgrad beim kämpfen ist jetzt nicht unbedingt extrem, sowas gab es in anderen Spielen schon zu genüge. Man hat im Spiel auch die Option alles verpixeln zulassen, wobei das aber nur in der englischen Version geht, in der Deutschen ist es direkt zensiert, aber man kann sich auf der Entwicklerseite den Uncut Pacht runterladen und sich alles auflösen lassen, wenn man das will.

Sich das Game im Uncut Modus anzutun sollte vorher schon gut überlegt sein. XD

Ich geb trotzdem 7 von 10 Punkte. Es macht schon Laune mal bischen zu metzeln mit einer heißen Schnecke. XD

Hab viel über dieses Spiel gehört und jetz im Sale zugeschlagen.
Leider muss ich feststellen das es nicht möglich ist die Zensur zu deaktivieren, was mir persönlich zumindest, das Spiel vermiest. Hoffe das da noch ein richtiger Patch erscheint den man auch in Deutschland erhält.
Solang dies nicht der fall ist ein klares MINUS von mir!

Genau so perfekt wie AGONY!!!
Ich verstehe nur nicht, warum man alles zensieren und sich praktisch die ganze Zeit durch eine verschwommene Spielwelt bewegen musste. Es hat mich sowieso nur 5 Minuten Internetrecherche gekostet um die Zensur zu entfernen, also hätte man sie sich auch gleich sparen können.
Wie beim ersten Teil habe ich das Spiel am Stück die ganze Nacht lang durchgespielt. :)
Mega krasse Grafik und durch detaillierte Spielwelt! Clive Barker wäre sehr stolz!!!

Sex und Gewalt

Sie heißt Vydija, ist eine Priesterin der Lust und will ihr Königreich in der Hölle zurück, welches man ihr gestohlen hat.

Unter diesen Vorzeichen sollte eigentlich jedem klar sein, was ihn erwartet: Eine Hölle, die ihrem Namen Ehre erweist und eine Dämonin, die Freude am Töten, Foltern und Quälen hat und die auch ihre sexuelle Lust befriedigt, wenn sie es will, mit wem sie es will und wann sie es will.

Und genau das, was Succubus uns verspricht, hält es auch. Die Hölle ist grausam, überall um einen herum werden Menschen von abartigen Dämonen getötet, gequält, vergewaltigt, angezündet und verstümmelt. Bäche voller Blut, Knochen, brennende Luft und gequälte Schreie runden das Bild ab.

Vydija selbst kennt keine Gnade. Sie schlachtet alles um sich herum ab, egal ob Mensch oder Dämon, Mann oder Frau, groß oder klein. Jeder, der sich ihr in den Weg stellt, wird gnadenlos, meist im Nahkampf in der Ego-Perspektive, in Einzelteile zerlegt.

Und wenn sie ein Opfer sieht und Lust auf Sex hat, nimmt sie sich auch das.

Und ja, Succubus zeigt alles, ohne Ausnahme (insofern man die verpixelten Körperteile entpixelt). Von Finishern, die Opfer in Einzelteile zerlegen über eine meist völlig nackte Vydija bis hin zu den Sexszenen. Es wird alles ohne Zensur abgespielt.

Aufgelockert wird Succubus darin, dass das körperliche Erscheinen von Vydija anpassbar ist, sie eine eigene „Wohnung“ hat, in der sie zwischen den Leveln die gesammelten Trophäen ansieht, sich ihre (Sex)sklaven hält, ein Nickerchen macht und in Blut badet. Darüber hinaus macht sie auch gerne Selfies mit instagramtauglichen Posen, man so also trotz Ego-Perspektive auch sehen kann, wie die ganz eigene Priesterin der Lust aussieht.

Die Grafik ist in Full HD hübsch anzusehen (sofern nicht alles gerade in Blut untergeht), das Gameplay leider manchmal etwas schwammig und die KI nicht immer besonders klug. Die Story ist auch nicht besonders einfallsreich. Unter anderem daran erkennt man, dass Succubus kein AAA-Titel sein kann.

Succubus ist höchst grausam, pornografisch, entwürdigend, sadistisch und gibt den Spielerinnen und Spielern damit die Möglichkeit, die eigene böse Seite voll auszuleben.

Folglich ist Succubus ein drastisches Nischengame, welches durch Nacktheit, Gewalt und ausgelebter Sexualität nur eine bestimmte Anhängerschaft anspricht und weiß das auch. Es versucht gar nicht erst, durch irgendwelche pseudomoralischen Erklärungen die Verwendung von exzessiver Gewalt zu rechtfertigen oder die Sexszenen nur anzudeuten, um etwas mehr in Richtung Mainstream zu gelangen.

Nein, vielmehr verherrlicht es den Einsatz von Gewalt und rauem Sex, damit Vydija genau das sein kann, was sie sein soll: Eine gnadenlose dämonische Priesterin der Lust, die auf Rachefeldzug ist.

Ob man das verträgt, muss jeder selbst entscheiden.

Eine Succubus auf Rachefeldzug.

Das erste Spiel, welches ich in der 3th Person Perspektive gespielt habe.
Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Den Schwierigkeitsgrad kann man jederzeit anpassen.
Ich habe es von Anfang an bis zum Ende hin in schwer durch gezockt.

Ich gebe meinen Vorredner recht, es ist nichts für schwache Nerven. Dieses Spiel lebt von Gewalt und Blut. Ihr könnt es zwar zensiert spielen, aber was bringt euch das, wenn fast alles verschwommen ist...

Die Succubus könnt ihr in eurem Heim individuell gestalten.
Ihr könnt sie entweder mit Kleidung, Tattoos versehen oder eben nackt herum laufen lassen.
Eurer Heim könnt ihr im laufe des Spiels auch in gewissen Themen anpassen. Es gibt Rüstungen und Waffen die euch Werte und Fähigkeiten geben. Diese werden auch nach und nach im Spiel automatisch freigeschaltet. Ihr könnt keine einzige Fähigkeit verbessern!

Im großen und ganzen kann ich es jeden empfehlen, der solche Spiele mag.
Der gerne mal relaxt Horden und Boss-kämpfe niedermetzeln möchte.

Fazit nach 80 Minuten . Wenn das die Hölle ist , ich freu mich drauf , Für 16 Euronen , ja muss man mitnehmen . Gameplay typisch Hack and Slay . Grafik ? hm , eigentlich Top , aber hätte auch stellenweise besser sein sollen . Die uncut Patch kann man nach installieren , aber Vorsicht , das ist schon Übel . Also Daumen hoch .

Dieses Spiel nimmt echt kein Blatt vor den Mund, der Uncut patch ist echt ne geniale idee der entwickler gewesen. Wundert euch nur nicht wenn euch die Kinnlade runterfällt die Gewalt ist echt extrem (Blut , Mord,Vergewaltigung,Abtreibungs minispiele,Verstümmelung und Sex mit Dämonen)

Eine Weibliche Hauptfigur die dem Dommslayer in kaum was nachsteht.

Wer auf brutales Gemetzel steht, ist mit diesem Game gut bedient... Uncut ist es natürlich etwas Strange Abtreibungen durchführen oder alles was die Körper so zu bieten haben sehen zu können, allerdings sind wir ja alt genug um das selbst entscheiden zu können!! Für mich eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Succubus ist ein schönes Spiel für Leute die es Blutig mögen.
Der Prologue war schon spitze.

Every Update does take a eternity to unpack and the gamefiles are getting insanely big.
Combat is ba.. not really my taste - almost every boss is just pure cheese.
Fashion is a huge aspect in this game, yet the charakter editor is lacking options for the face and the hair just looks bad (animation).
Also a few really untasty bugs, like frozen charakter after skipping a cutscene and the portal doesnt open after killing the harpy boss - tho i cannot even play the whole story mode.
The game is not bad (better than AGONY). I regret buying it and they`re already milking it.
But MadMind is still working on the game and i hopefully might change my opinion.

Für alle die sich gerne in First Person als Succubus durch Level mit altbekannten Gegnern aus Agony schnetzeln, ist dieses Spiel von Madmind durchaus empfehlenswert für alle die es gern etwas härter mögen. Auch hier erwartet einen eben wieder ein extrem brutales Spiel mit sexuellen Inhalten. Atmosphärisch ist das Spiel ganz im Stil von Agony gehalten, was man auch sofort merkt.

Steuerungstechnisch funktioniert das Ganze meist einwandfrei, nur manches wirkt eben noch ein wenig holprig. Es ist allerdings nicht sonderlich viel Abwechslung über die knapp 5 Stunden Spielzeit (zumindest auf dem leichtesten Schwierigkeitsgrad, der hier auch voreingestellt ist) geboten und die Schwierigkeit der Bosskämpfe wirkt teilweise etwas willkürlich. Ich persönlich hatte aber dennoch meinen Spaß dabei. Es ist aber schon wirklich ein eher spezielleres Spiel.

Succubus – hier wird gesündigt

Hinweis: Dieser Titel ist absolut nicht für Kinder oder Teenager geeignet!

Nun, ich bin völlig unvoreingenommen an Succubus herangetreten und hab mir absolut nichts dabei gedacht, worauf ich mich hier einlassen werde. Sicherlich werd ich, nachdem ich das Spiel komplett durch habe, in die Kirche gehen und 150 mal das Vater unser beten…

Die Story

Ihr schlüpft in die Rolle von Vydija, einer Succubus, welche zusammen mit König Nimrod über den Höllenschlund herrschen. Da Vydija selbst nicht viel vom Amt als Königin hielt, trieb Sie sich in der Wildnis rum um Dämonen zu jagen. Als Sie Bahpomet gegenüberstand, wurde Sie gefangen genommen und verstümmelt. Baphomet will selbst über den Höllenschlund und die Bestie, welche König Nimrod im Zaum hält, kontrollieren. Getrieben von Rache, macht sich Vydija auf die Suche und hinterlässt hierbei einen Pfad aus Blut...und anderen Körperflüssigkeiten…

Die Spielmechanik/Das Gameplay

Succubus ist ein Hack n` Slash, der auf Nahkämpfe in Ego-Perspektive setzt, gepaart mit Blood & gore Elementen. Hierbei habt ihr eine kleine Auswahl an verschiedenen Waffentypen, wie zwei Klingen, Schwertern, Speere, Hämmer oder Sensen. Je nachdem was euch mehr zusagt, könnt Ihr bis zu drei Waffen gleichzeitig in die Level mitführen. Durch das Töten von Gegnern oder harmlosen Menschen, erhaltet Ihr hin und wieder ihre Seelen und könnt somit eure Waffen im Nachhinein weiter aufwerten, welches nicht nur ihre Stats, sondern auch Ihre Erscheinungsbild verändern.

Das Kampfsystem von Succubus ist sehr simpel gehalten. Zu schnellen Attacken besitzt jeder Waffentyp noch eine Spezialattacke, welche entweder ein Wurf oder ein harter Schlag sein kann. Ihr werdet auch eure Umgebung euch zu nutze machen können, indem Ihr eure Feinde in Stachelfallen tretet oder in Tentakel, die wiederum eure Feinde ordentlich in den Tod prügeln. Natürlich könnt Ihr eure Feinde auch ganz klassisch aus dem Level treten. Neben den physischen Angriffen, gibt es noch Fertigkeiten, wie der Feuerball oder einem Schild, welche durch eure aktuelle Rüstung bestimmt werden. Außerdem sorgen die verschiedenen Rüstungen für eure allgemeinen Stats, wie euer Durchhaltevermögen oder eure Geschwindigkeit.

Die Level sind so designt worden, dass man Sie öfter Spielen soll, dies belohnt euch mit neuen Gegenständen und anderen kosmetischen Dingen, wie das Anpassen eurer Figur. Ihr könnt mit der Standartmäßigen Vydija durch die Hölle schreiten oder Ihr könnt Sie auch ganz nach euren belieben gestalten und verändern. Neben den Zusatzaufgaben, neben der Hauptquest der Level, gibt es auch noch Sammelgegenstände zu finden. Hier habe ich erst Erfahren, das für Succubus auch ein Comic erstellt worden ist.

Die Steuerung

Ich habe mich sowohl an Maus und Tastatur, als auch mit dem Controller versucht und muss sagen, dass beides wunderbar funktioniert. Da ich aber ein Controllerkind bin, habe ich bevorzugt mit dem Controller gespielt. Die Steuerung ist simpel und schnell gemeistert. Es gibt keine komplizierten Tastenkombinationen, sondern geht mehr in Richtung Buttonsmashing.

Der Sound

Hier muss ich leider sagen, können die Entwickler überhaupt nicht punkten. Kampfgeräusche sind satt und deutlich, hören sich aber recht lasch an. Auch in den Videosequenzen hat man das Gefühl, dass der Ton, nicht mit der Sequenz richtig übereinstimmt. Das Hintergrundambiente wird versucht durch Taiko Trommeln zu untermalen, dies gelingt aber nicht wirklich, da man diese kaum bis gar nicht hören kann. Meine persöhnliche Meinung gehört hier zwar nicht hin aber ich finde die Sprecherin von Vydija grauenvoll. Für mich klingt Sie wie eine mordlüsterne alte Hexe. Das kann aber auch daran liegen, dass ich stark von anderen Darstellungen einer Sukkubus beeinflusst bin. Ich bin aber auch ehrlich, dass mordlüsterne steht Ihr aber gut.

Die Grafik

Grafisch kann Succubus sich durchaus sehen lassen, wenn man hier aber auch das Gefühl bekommt, dass es Stellenweise in den Jahren zurück hängt. Im großen und ganzen ist die Umgebung der Hölle in sehr dunklen schwarz und rottönen gehalten. Verziert mit aufgehängten Menschen, Blutseen auf dem Boden und lüsterne Dämonen im Hintergrund geben in meinen Augen eine Fleischgewordene Hölle. Die Designs mancher Kreaturen sind sehr ausgefallen und erinnern stark an Agony, welches ebenfalls aus dem Hause Madmind Studio stammt. Leider wirken manche Szenen sehr statisch, was das ganze Spiel unbeabsichtigt ins lächerliche zieht. Madmind Studio hat hier auf die Obszönität gesetzt, denn das macht ein Großteil des Spiels aus. Wer Spaß an Selfies hat, wird sicherlich gute, zum Großteil erotische Bilder schießen. Hier wurde aber extra ein Zensurmodus integriert, welcher nur durch eine Mod ausgeschaltet werden kann. Einige Inhalte sind eben nichts für Kinder und Jugendliche. Unabhängig davon, so denk ich, wollen die Entwickler vermeiden, dass Ihr Spiel auf dem Index landet. Ich werde auf dies Aspekt aber nicht weiter eingehen.

Mein Fazit

Da ich wirklich ohne Vorkenntnisse an dieses Spiel heran gegangen bin, schreibe ich diese Review mit gemischten Gefühlen. Es erinnert stark an Titel wie Doom, da Blood & Gore ganz groß geschrieben worden sind und eben auch Agony, welches ja aus derselben Feder stammt. Spielerisch macht es in meinen Augen nicht wahnsinnig viel her, ich kann aber auch nicht behaupten, dass es überhaupt kein Spaß gemacht hat. Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich lieber eine ausgeglichene Review abgeben, entscheide mich aber nicht für eine Negativreview, da ich echt Spaß (auch wenn es überaus unchristlich ist) hatte. Ich empfehle daher diesen Titel nur eingeschränkt weiter, da man meines Erachtens, erotische Elemente in seinen Spielen wirklich mögen muss. Ich für meinen Teil hätte mich auch nur mit Blut und Verstümmelung zufrieden gegeben, denn ich sehe mir lieber andere Dinge an, jedoch ist dies Geschmackssache. Ich empfehle hier aber auf ein Sale zu warten!

Ich habe dem Spiel unrecht getan, dafür entschuldige ich mich sogar ;-)) !

Nun, wo ich nachträglich gelesen habe, dass man ein Uncensored-Pack installieren kann, was die Zensur aufhebt, bin ich vollends versöhnt --> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2619925282

Not optimised at all and requires me to have absolutely nothing else running to even play a level or two. It also feels far too repetitive and easy in combat, the thing is based around, simply using the whip for waves of enemies and a stronger sword for the bosses and elites. Finishers look decent though. Visually looks alright but requires a lot of processing power. It and the DLC outfits are not worth their base price. Only buy if you really want it and have a great computer.

Just not a good game, some music is there but it feels like it's not, some barely hearable drums, movement feels constrained, unpolished, same goes for the enemies. It's also too grotesque. The levels, if you can call them that are tunnels that lead to circular arena areas for fights, it's all packed with a whole bunch of shit to hide the fact that there is no level design. Combat feels unpolished.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is is a way smoother, more polished game with way better enemy AI. No fucking way I'm playing this and I don't recommend it. Oddly enough, this looks way better in the reviews than it plays.

Succubus is like Dante's Inferno in first person. I mean it has the same hellish brutality but without the annoying puzzle-solving, which I hate in ACT games. I never quite like the idea of, say Kratos, the God of the War himself, an unstoppable killing machine, unfortunately and constantly getting stuck by a door puzzle.

Back to Succubus though, I suggest you try out the free prologue if you're wondering is the game good or not. TBH The full game offers basically more of the same things you got to play in the demo, except for maybe slightly better graphics and gear customization, which you already know is there but don't have access to in the prologue. I'd still recommend Succubus however, as while it is rather unpolished in terms of combat moves and graphics, it does deliver an enjoyable and relaxing journey to the literal slaughterhouse in Hell, which is disgusting and fascinating at the same time.

So there's a lot to unpack here and I'm not sure where to start so fuck it... It's a dark fantasy first person RPG, so now that that's out of the way what makes it unique is the sheer volume of explicit content the game is constantly bombarding you with. Which is frankly incredibly gruesome and not for the faint of heart, especially if you're like me and wanted to try the full experience and went for the uncensored version... Which may have been a mistake because even by my standards it's excessive (which is saying something cause I'm huge fan of the berserk manga). Then again berserk also has an extremely gripping story and characters. Anyway if you're into that sort of thing this might be the only place to get your fix in an interactive environment that doesn't necessitate modding the piss out of a game! Ultimately, not my cup of tea; it felt shallow mechanicly, there's definitely good ideas and gameplay concepts there but they need more refinement to stand out. The game hardcore crutches on the nature of its content and once you get past that it is just an okay first person RPG. Final thought: if Skyrim is your favorite game and hostel is your favorite movie this is a must buy, otherwise you can pass and you'll be fine.

The combat is dumb to be honest. They put 0 effort into our abilities or powers and even less into the enemy AI. They simply swarm your position and use the same basic attack over and over. Each level looks the same after a while, like they have one theme and just copy/pasted the same look on each area and expect us to treat it like its new. I havent seen level design this lazy since Dragon Age 2. And oh wow yay nudity. Big deal. There's literally no depth to the game what so ever, just go to an area, get swarmed by the most mindless dumb AI driven enemies since the 90s, use some boring basic powers that make Morrowind look cutting edge, and thats pretty much it. The puzzles are some what interesting but I bought this because I wanted an action game set in Hell, not a puzzle game. I'd save your money and buy something else. This is not worth it.

After almost 17 hours with this game and 100% it and getting all achievements as well, I can safely say it was a fun ride, a pretty fun and reckless hack and slash. I got this game for a few reasons, one it being a spin off or in a way a more fleshed out version for the Succubus mode in Agony (yet to finish the pc version), two the nsfw stuff and third well... the demo/prologue got me intrigued. The graphics are most definitely very beautiful, the character customisation for your succubus is way more extensive than i thought it was going to be, armours and weapons are unique, the armours each have different armour ratings, protection points, powers and a design either being very revealing to kinda covering the body or being a bit interesting looking, but definitely unique. There are quite a few different weapons with each category have different looks and damage ratings and the base/home for your succubus has customisation options for each room with multiple different options to suit the style you are going for also the lighting for your base/home. Game length is honestly perfect for the type game it is and finally the story is pretty cool (well at least i think it is), you are demonic priestess of lust where you use her unique skills and powers to take upon all of your enemies, take over hell from the common petty martyr (humans) to the behemoth of i don't even know some goat thing with breast and a penis that can fly but every enemy is as unique as this game. Moral of my review is, if you a bit horny and wanna get off to your own unique looking succubus doing it with a martyr to a brute looking guy with a tentacle for a cock then this is for you or you just want a pretty good hack and slash with some uniqueness to it then this is for you!

I was intrigued by an AO romp through hell but what a disappointment. The biggest letdown is the gameplay, it's so very repetitive and boring. Run straight and fight a bunch of tanky enemies with simplistic attacks while doing next to no damage. After 2 hours I can't bring myself to keep going.

Agony, but fun to play.

Back from the Grave

Agony’s big-breasted demons exerted quite an influence on horror lovers, but the disappointment was even higher than the anticipation. Madmind Studio salvaged its game with an Unrated version that added a Succubus mode. This additional mode has now been fleshed out into an entire new game.

Back to Basics

After the grandiose music theme, Succubus immediately marks a difference with its predecessor: this is not a walking simulator nor a game of hide and seek in a maze, this is an arena brawler! There is no overcomplicated story told through written notes, but rather a refreshingly simple plot: our succubus got her wings ripped out, so she is out for revenge. Besides that current quest, all that drives her are her thirst for sex and violence. And both will be provided during the course of the game.

Bloody Doll

Immediately after the first level, the player gets introduced to Vydija’s lair. Here, you will be able to customize her appearance and decorate her rooms. There, she will also find the opportunity to rest in her bed, take a bath, or sit on her throne, legs spread wide open… There are different armor/clothes for you to find, but you can always deactivate them to display Vydija in her natural glory. Provided that you activated the relevant free DLC, the game is completely uncensored.

The Collector

Each level is a series of arena fights, with boss fights and some mild exploration sprinkled on top. To 100% the game you will have to complete some additional side-quests, such as finding and killing all the demon babies, finishing the level under a certain time, or taking less than 1,000 points of damage. I only experienced rage and frustration once: one of the later levels, in which you have to throw exploding eggs onto imps’ nests. The enemies and imps keep getting in the way and the eggs explode before they reach their destination, and this level is full of gooey poison that spreads over your screen and prevents visibility. This one level was a nightmare, but overall, they were rather well balanced and well crafted. And I kept stopping in my tracks to take screenshots of the architecture of flesh and bones.

Straight to Hell

Succubus has no ugly area like the forests and mazes from the first game. Instead, we have a messy but gorgeously twisted vision of Hell. As there is no button for jumping, navigating the levels is fairly straightforward. When larger gaps need to be crossed, the game switches to a third-person view for short climbing sequences. Buttons and destructible areas necessary for progression are highlighted, and there is a button to mark the objective on the screen. Unlike in Agony, you won’t get lost. Although the game’s primary focus is on combat, the layout is interesting to explore and I always enjoyed throwing myself into a Succubus level, whereas I used to rage quit a lot in Agony.

Kill Anything That Moves

Time spent in Succubus is mostly time spent in combat. Sadly, this is going to be hit and miss depending on the player. There are all sorts of melee weapons to unlock, and also some powers/spells assigned to the different armors. Most spells are useless, clunky to use, with strange hit detection or lackluster damage. There is no block button. The enemies also don’t really telegraph their attacks. You are just hacking and slashing through crowds of enemies rushing at you, with absolutely no subtlety. The only concession is a stagger system: execute a highlighted enemy to recover a small portion of health. Combat is rather brainless, so anyone looking forward to something more technical will be disappointed. However, this is also why I enjoyed playing the game: simple, continuous, effective massacre. Brain on OFF, ultraviolence on ON. Succubus is super brutal. Sword finishers will cut enemies in half. Staffs will break bones. Enemies fly off everywhere, preferably on spikes. The levels are filled with all sorts of traps. Lava, tentacles, spikes, iron maidens, butcher hooks, and so on. You can kick almost all enemy types into them for instant death, along with exaggerated ragdoll physics. This is a blast to play. A caveat: at higher difficulties, enemies get more health and react in a less satisfying manner to your attacks. Therefore, I suggest that Story Mode is the best way to enjoy this particular game.

Trigger Orgasm

Apart from executing fighters to regain health, you can also stomp on demon babies, or torture innocent victims. These scenes are quite gruesome, such as stroking a guy’s dick before ripping it off or borrowing a pregnant woman’s fetus before giving it back right from where you pulled it. This game is unabashedly immoral, which is refreshing as we are currently in the middle of an era of extreme political correctness.

Succuboobs

Furthermore, Madmind Studio fully embraced the sexual appeal of its game. I already mentioned that you can hide Vydija’s “clothes”, then you can have a peek at her during fanservice scenes in her lair or here and there in the levels. There are actual porn scenes involving the Succubus and various men or demons, with genitals fully visible. Completing the game triggers an orgy in Vydija’s lair, where you can find all the arousing and twisted sights that you witnessed before, and experience them again at will. There is even a Selfie mode (press Escape during the game) to provide more fanservice.

Not the Smoothest Ride

The art direction is striking and worth playing just to gaze upon the twisted landscapes and creatures of Hell. While the post-processing effects looked less cinematic than in Agony Unrated, the game runs much smoother, and the new character models look great; a lot of progress has been made since the initial Agony. The game runs well with high settings on my ageing machine, but it is not perfect, there are technical issues here and there, mostly collision issues. The initial key binding is slightly confusing and takes a while to get used to (here is my variation: SPACE to display objectives, SHIFT to dash, E to pull/execute, F to push/kick). The wording of the side-quests is sometimes misleading.

Let's Go Again

To 100% the game with all side-quests, it took me 20 hours. Without any side-quests, rushing through the end should take between 6-10 hours. Since the levels are focused on combat, they are highly replayable, with even a leaderboard to motivate you. Each run gives you a currency to purchase new armor and weapons. As soon as a weapon is available, you can purchase different version that deal increasingly higher damage. I was glad that I could directly purchase the best version of each weapon, but then I wonder what was the point of modelling a dozen skins for intermediate weapons that no one will ever pick. This flawed progression system, added to the lack of a block move, show that while Madmind Studio is getting better at making games, the studio still needs to hone its skills and improve on game design to keep up with its excellent artistic output.

Literally where i have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to Shut it down it needs fixed Nothing game breaking forget the name of it right now its where she goes to talk to some black spirit and eats of some tray he pops up from just loops there so just do not go near it till its fixed the game itself works fine for me..... Yall should have seen the glowing smile on my face when I first booted this game up. Pro tip: play Lilith Immaculate by Cradle of Filth in the bg while playing Succubus, they complement each other like shredded cheese and me at 3 am.

I just finished the story and i enjoyed it for the most part. The graphics are pretty good and i didn't really get any bugs or glitches in the game except for a minor one. The voice acting was kind of meh put i really loved the music. The game play is your standard hack and slash. They also plan on adding more things later on so i am excited to see that. There is a few adult animations in the game. It was ok but i hope they add more later. They do have character and lair customization in the game too. I didn't use it too much though.
