It was an okay game, I loved the puzzles and the characters were funny, but it is not one of my favorite games. I just didn't get into the story like I usually do with ND games.

Despite extremely annoying characters, this Nancy Drew game is fun. Late night sneaking, a great balance of puzzles and sleuthing, and the puzzles weren't ridiculous. Plus, you get to make snacks.

Most Nancy Drew fans say that this game is one of the best in the series. I'm not one of them. Every single character is unlikable in some way, and not in the good 'written that way on purpose' sort of way. I can tolerate a lot of bad stuff from a game for the sake of good characters, but they're all awful. 'Rachel' is fine (if you ignore that your only interactions with then are focused entirely on doing her homework) but was so focused on her work that you never got a sense of her personality. That's the nicest thing I can say about her. Corine is nosy and manipulative, Leela is a boring and single-minded minigame machine, Mel is a tryhard edgelord whose popularity with the fanbase baffles me, and Izzy is written to be 'the unlikable one' in a world where all the other girls are so awful that she has to be over-the-top to stand out as the one who is INTENDED to be awful. The albino squirrel who stole my MacGuffin was my favorite. I only played this a second time through because everyone insisted it was great, and I wondered if I was wrong. I wasn't. At one point, I spent half an hour making fake sandwiches in the school's cafeteria, because I would rather do that than spend time with any of the characters. If you like chores and catty drama, this is the game for you. I love this series overall, but for me, this one ranks at the very bottom, along with Midnight in Salem, The Shattered Medallion, and Creature of Kapu Cave. However, I've been told that I'm one of only a few who thinks this, so maybe give it a try.

This is one of the weirder Nancy games because the premise is so random. Definitely not a favorite for me, but I do enjoy some of the puzzles. You have to do the somewhat annoying Nancy-plays-chef thing, and there is a piano puzzle (I personally hate those). The setting is a bit too small for my taste, but the Poe-themed mystery is pretty fun, even if it is far-fetched.

Really fun to play. I was really shock at who the bad guy was. it was FAR from what I was thinking. It kept me entertain. Like the fact that we can earn Achievements but wish there was more to win. Like that we can play games outside of detective work. Overall just a fun short game to get into.

A solid game with a good plot, interesting characters and a nicely unique setting!

My only problem with this (and other games of the series) is the reliance on finding clues first before certain things can trigger. I understand that the developers don't just want players to solve riddles by plain guessing. But also there are some things that can be considered at least somewhat common knowledge (like how to play a piano for instance) and requiring players who already have that knowledge, figured out how to solve a puzzle and performed all the right actions to instead go looking for clues they don't need before they can progress makes no sense to me. It's the biggest feels bad moment when you've figured something out but feel like you're doing it wrong so you look up a guide only to find out you weren't doing anything wrong, the game just wasn't yet letting you do it. I'd love it if they would at least allow for the option to do certain things without a specific guide if they could be considered to be common knowledge outside of the game.

Other than this (admittedly quite minor) thing I really enjoyed this game and its story. It's definitely not my favorite of the series but a solid game that is definitely worth way more than its price tag would suggest.

One of my favorites! Strong female characters, cool setting with HerInteractive extras to enjoy like school website online, a Twitter storyline that's like setting the scene for what's to come in the game (super old now of course) and the snack shop is one of my faves! Kinda short and wish it was longer, but still a top game for me!

Best Nancy Drew game I've played so far. 9/10

The puzzles were challenging, even on junior detective, and there were a few times were I actually got stuck and had to look up how to advance. But, it wasn't so ridiculously hard that it felt impossible. Also, the whole theme, gossip at an all girls' boarding school? Yes please! I loved it the whole way through. My only complaint would be that the environment is very small, it's limited to a few rooms in the school and the school grounds. Besides that, amazing story, voice acting, and puzzles.

The characters in this game are interesting enough, I haven't figured out who the villain is yet, and the setting isn't SO large that you have to travel mass distances to talk to each person. I'm enjoying it!

I didn't feel the plot was very salient in this game. On several occasions I was just going around talking to all the different girls trying to get *something* to happen. Some of the characters were pretty pointless, like you would do *one* thing for them in the beginning and then had no reason to talk to them again for the rest of the game. That was frustrating. I liked the setting, and didn't hate the game or anything, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. There are better ND games.

One of my absolute favorites of the ND series. This game is beautiful and fun. Loved how much more depth the story has than the early installments.

Despite the brilliant beginning this game is a really disappointing one. To pass the whole plot and face racial prejudices....no. Do not recommend.

Don't let this be your first Nancy Drew game. The puzzles were easy and there weren't many. And I found the story pretty dull. The mini-games are pretty fun, but I will not be playing this game again. Half the game is spent doing other people's homework and the ending wasn't at all surprising, at least not to me. If your goal is to play all the ND games this one isn't terrible, but if you're just getting into these games there are better choices to start with (Legend of the Crystal Skull is pretty good -- and puzzle-heavy if you're into that)

This is probably my favorite of the Nancy Drew games. I love Edgar Allen Poe so a game that is inspired by him is right down my ally. I also really love the characters in this game. It reminds me a bit of Mean Girls but with a mystery. So if you're a die hard fan of Nancy Drew, you of course should play this game. If you just enjoy mysteries, I also think you should play it.

Puzzles that I didn't need a walkthrough for, interesting location, a chore that's not tedious to do...this has become one of my favourite Nancy Drew games! (But [spoiler] why the hell did Rachel need me to do her homework if she has a twin??? Surely two people can finish one person's homework? [/spoiler])

I've loved the Nancy Drew game series ever since I was a child. Warnings at Waverly Academy does not disappoint in either nostalgia or gameplay.

This is one of my favorite Nancy Drew games. It has a nice balance between sleuthing and puzzle solving, which is something that many of the newer games in this series are lacking. The plot isn't very complex, but it is interesting and had some unexpected twists. If you enjoy point and click mysteries, I think you will like this game a lot.

Overall, this was a fun game with a good atmosphere. The puzzles were decent, and I actually wasn't expecting some of the twists. This is one of the shorter Nancy Drew games.
