At the beginning I thought it was going to be short and very generic... It's not

So, the game does have it's lore, which I loved, I thought it was just a simple platformer / puzzle game. it's mechanics and puzzles are nice and well thought but the controls felt a bit wonky and that made it frustrating at times.

Creepy vibe, art and music; I think it's really nice. Some hidden objects are a true pain in the butt to get but hey! It's possible, annoying but possible xD.

I think it's a nice game, as I said before the controls weren't the best, it was at times very frustrating but other than that, great :D

Cool concept, not so cool execution. The main issue I have with this game is how punishing it is. If you fail one step during the level then you're in for another ride, on the house. The problem is, this ride feels old very quickly because of how many times you'll fail at completing a puzzle because of the platforming sections. While not being so great due to the engine, they requires scalpel precision jumps.

There is plenty of levels (80~) and I wished they did less and put more attention into them. To me the puzzle aspect of the game failed the moment you figure out the solution on the first try but still have to give it 10 attempts to succeed due to questionable design decisions.

It's a shame really because the concept is solid and could have resulted in a fairly fun puzzle game. If there is a sequel one day, I wish they could add checkpoints during levels so you can experiment without the fear of losing your progress again and again. This game and puzzle games in general benefits greatly from the sandbox approach, not the die and retry one.

I've done 55 levels so far, I'm not sure I'll go any further.

It's maddening, it's frustrating, it's driven me to howls of despair. But that rush of endorphins when you finally figure out a puzzle and finish a level makes it worth every second.

many, many years ago i played this as a free browser game and it was really big fun.
so when i found this on steam i got really excited.
and the game did not disappoint!

closure is a really nice puzzle platformer with great music, beautiful artwork and interesting game mechanics.
the most obvious and afaik unique idea is the lighting system. everything you can't see basically doesn't exist!
need to get through a wall? just remove the light and jump through the dark spot.
need to get a floor down? remove the light and drop into the dark abyss!
the obvious challenge is not to fall to your death when you remove the floor from under your feet.
moving, removing and manipulating light sources to reach your goal is the main feature of the game.
maybe that doesn't sound like much to you but it is as much fun now as it was many years ago.

the difficulty of the puzzles is fairly balanced. they're neither insultingly easy nor enragingly hard.
in fact there is surprisingly little need to rage in general. most levels are two or three minutes long so you don't even lose that much progress if you die.
and while dying 10 times in a row certainly starts adding up it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. other games can learn a lot here...

it took me about 7 hours to finish the game plus another hour to get the game 100% completed.

big fun and absolutely no regrets buying it!

Fairly simple but nice puzzle game with great music. Black and white settings is well done here. While much simpler than The Bridge, I enjoyed it just as much.

I remember having fun with this game.
But I didn't finish it because it had some technical issues in the final levels.
Nowadays, if I try to play it crashes when I hit the continue button.
Hope they will fix it someday.

Guide your little person up the ladder, across the gaps in the floor and out the door. But if you can't see it, It doesn't exist. Walk off into the darkness and fall into oblivion. Wall lamps can be rotated to reveal floors and glowing orbs can be carried to light your way. Some doors need to be unlocked with a key and you can carry only one thing at a time. Appropriate for a game about light and shadow the odd art design is done entirely in black and white.

The levels were a bit on the easy side, But I enjoyed the light/dark aspect, music and art design. Things are kept at a minimum, Though perhaps too minimal. I think more interesting things could have been done with the games gimmick. There's no story in the game. Just different themes for the three groups of levels. Which is fine as the game is fairly abstract anyway, But filling out the vignettes more would have been nice.

CLOSURE is a black and white alienish platform puzzle game where the world exists because of light. Without light, there is only nothing and I mean nothing, if you try to jump onto a platform that doesn't have light near it, you will fall through the world. If you are swimming and your light floats away, you will drop out of the world without it. Solid walls become jumps when there is no light on them. The object of each of the almost 100 levels is basically to make it to the door at the end. You can pick up lit orbs, you can put lit orbs into carriers that will carry them. This leads to some really interesting platform mechanics, such as moving lights turn into elevators when normally they'd be solid walls. You can put orbs into transporters that will make 2 areas lit instead of 1. There are push boxes, push rollers that will of course roll, lit push boxes, lamps that you can adjust to cast light onto different areas and so on. This is a unique, enjoyable, atmospheric, immerse game, but I have a feeling that once you're done, you're done. They made a really alien world here and the music is awesome and belongs in a suspense drama. After the tutorial levels when the game opens up, the music eases up so its not as intense. Very worth a play through, I own it a few different ways, Steam, GOG, did I mention its free for Playstation Plus members?
