Wäre eine neutrale Bewertung - Ohne Nostalgie zieht es sich teilweise.. wirklich sehr, wer sich hier 100% antun sollte hat wirklich mein Beileid

Prinzipiell sehr sympathisch aufgebaut, aber das Rätseldesign und immer wieder die gleiche monotone Abfolge von super stumpfen Anzugswechseln um simple Puzzles zu lösen lässt das Spiel wirklich enorm leiden. Am Ball gehalten hat mich das doch sehr befriedigende Zerstören der (teilweise) Lego-Umgebung und einmal die Stunde eine lustige Line zu hören - Leider nutzt das Game selten seine Stärken und 90% der Bausteine lassen sich einfach nur zu den Rätselplatformen umbauen, teilweise könnte man vergessen dass es sich überhaupt um ein Lego-game handelt, die Umgebung sieht teilweise eher aus wie ein Budget Arkham-Titel, mit einigen Farbklecksen aus Spielsteinen hier und da

Obwohl es größtenteils sehr klar ist dass es eher ein Game für Kids ist, musste ich doch ab und zu auf youtube schauen was zur Hölle ich machen soll - öfters war die Lösung exakt was ich versucht habe, nur stand ich 20 Zentimeter zu weit entfernt.. leicht nervig, aber shit happens

Story ist anfangs überraschend in Ordnung, besonders die Cutscenes sind sympathisch und liebevoll gestaltet - nur leider verliert sich das Pacing in der zweiten Hälfte komplett und besonders die letzten 30% des Spiels hab ich einfach nur noch auf das Ende gehofft - Immer wieder die gleichen Animationen für die gleichen Puzzles nerven mein erwachsenes und nostalgiefreies Gehirn dann doch zu sehr

Grundsolide, nervig monoton, aber liebevoll und teilweise wirklich super schön anzusehen

This is a classic. Despite its MANY FLAWS (unlocking characters in the open world is repetitive, you only get 3 characters for all story missions until the end, a lot of characters move sets are underwhelming) but it is a staple of my child hood and is a MAJOR improvement on lego batman 1. For the first open world lego game, the first lego game with voice lines, I think they did a great job. Revisiting it was fun.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will go down in history as one of the most influential and pioneering LEGO games of all time. This is the first of all mainstream LEGO games to feature original voice acting and an open hub world. Alongside the voice acting, this game has its own original story! The story is fun and playful and an overall great time. Mixing alongside the creative story, the open world aspect of Gotham City is something brand new that was debuted in this game. Although tedious to 100% at times, this game is an absolute delight to play.

Not only is it my childhood but also the childhood of thousands of others. its a classic and really enjoyable. i do recommend a controller for easy use but anything goes pretty much. it gave me a really nostalgic feeling. i recommend 10/10

Since Lego games, especially the older ones, are always relatively cheap in the Steam Sale and you can also get them thrown afterwards on alternative sites, I've often been asked if I can't write something about them and if these games are even worth it . In order to answer these questions, I have and will tackle all the older games again and write something about them.

To answer the question of whether the games are worth it in advance:
I think yes, definitely, even if the game is from 2012 and has been around for a few days and is of course no longer graphically convincing. If the games are cheap and you like playing Lego games then they should not be missing in your collection.

Gloomy world of this Gotham City. For the first time in Lego Batman a free and open world with all kinds of things to do.
Apart from the story missions, you can help screaming passers-by, drive races, search for and earn the hidden bonus level and lots of golden and red bricks.

Due to the DC Super Heroes already mentioned in the title, the game is not only mainly about the duo Batman and Robin.
Although these are almost exclusively responsible for the campaign, one or the other DC hero or villain such as Superman, Catwoman or Harley Quinn comes along as the game progresses.
Also this time the game does not revolve around a movie but exclusively around everything that has to do with Batman, Superman and all the other DC characters.
The Batcave again serves as the headquarters from which you can go to the missions and return there again.
Again there are a variety of suits with which you can look behind walls or start machines with the electricity suit.

Like every Lego game, this one remains true to itself and so there are one or two small puzzles to solve, minikits to collect and simply to smash everything that is possible.
A real innovation, however, is the speaking of the characters. Yes, you heard that right. It is no longer just mumbled around but spoken properly. With voice output and such.
Unfortunately, the well-known and much-loved joke falls by the wayside due to the long dialogues. Too bad.

What is also available in the older Lego games are cheat codes for characters and extras.
Since there are just too many for this game, I won't include them here, but you know how Google works.

Apparently there is a problem with some Lego games with DS4 and two PS4/5 controllers that both cannot be logged in / used at the same time in the game.

The Big Picture Mode may be able to remedy this, at least that has been confirmed to me recently.

Personally, I use Xbox controllers and I haven't had the issue with them before.

This game is genuinely the best Lego game I have ever played. For its time, the free roam is unbelievable and gives off the most chillest vibes when standing on top of Wayne Tower. The story mode is great as you get to explore the entire map at the same time as well as completing the challenges in the free roam after the story is completed. I just 100% the game yesterday, and boy it was worth all 27.8 hours of my time. This game definitely makes my top 3 games of all time as it made up a large portion of my childhood and has stuck to me ever since. Buy this game right now you wont regret it

Totally recommend, if you like story-line games with fun-filled action inside this is 100% for you. Missions can be difficult but also tests your brain! You'll never run out of fun with this game even when you've completed it, this was my favourite games as a kid and was always into Lego. Best bang for its buck!

My most favorite LEGO Game has to be LEGO Batman 2 because you get a bigger Story than the 1st game and it's more expansive with the characters, levels, suits, etc. This is also the first LEGO game to have an open world and the developers have definitely taken that to their advantage as you would get to levels by going to a waypoint in the world. The only issue with this game is that camera controls is a bit of a nuisance on Mouse and Keyboard and there's no Steam Cloud but you can duplicate save files and place them in a Network Drive so that you can transfer your save data to your new device, use C:UsersUserAppDataRoamingWarner Bros. Interactive EntertainmentLEGO Batman 2 and copy the folder to your Network Drive, then use your other computer to copy and paste the save file in the App Data folder.

A wonderful sequel, the free roam was the best part, other than the crazy flying mechanics feeling like Superman 64 (that's a joke) and some the most impossible gold bricks, this game has had me wanting to replay some of the levels for the nostalgia factor!

I played this game as a small kid and absolutely loved it. And nothing has changed over 8 years. This game is the face of my childhood and it is an AMAZING game. Some of the good things about it is that the story mode is fun (and is most likely the best story in any LEGO game ever), Gotham is BIG and that there is always things to do when you have finished the story. I also like how they have added relevant characters, and not any ones that are unpopular or that most people have never heard of. The only thing that i would like for this game to do better is to add more characters.

I love this game and i would rate this game EVERYONE with $30.

BEST LEGO GAME TO DATE

As the first lego game to incorporate actual voice acting its amazing how well it was pulled off. This is by far my favorite lego game. The story, open world, characters, and actors are all done the best I've seen in a lego game. I would highly recommend this one to any fan of Lego or batman. My only complaint is there is no cloud saves or achievements.

It's much better than the first game but the overall experience is less polished. The story has spectacle that it doesn't ever earn and like most Lego games the post-game is more fun than the story, but I wouldn't see that factor in a positive light for this example. Exploring Gotham is fun, and I love that the city is decorated with giant minifigures. All of the locations look beautiful and iconic and at the very beginning of the game it feels promising, but it leaves me feeling disappointed they didn't do more to flesh it out, most of post-game feels like an easter egg hunt and even when you find what you need you have to use the Red Bricks to be able to buy it all. For the start of the game it's just Batman and Robin going back and forth through obstacles, matching specific types of Legos to their specific costumes, and about halfway through the game you get Superman who is unmatched in combat and just generally traveling in a level but can't interact with all the Legos that Batman and Robin can and vise versa. Some of these costumes were under-utilized like Robin's Magnet suit and Flash in his entirety. Speaking of: The rest of the Justice League are tacked on at the end with no and you don't even get to use Flash in the story despite him being required to unlock Joker and Lex, and there's no reason they couldn't have just swapped him for Green Lantern in some scenarios so I don't even get why. Credit where credit is due though, the personality of these characters is unignorable, They might not be realisitic like the lego movie but for what it is, it's pretty expressive. You pretty much never use the vehicles in the game and even if you did they're made obsolete by the fact that you can fly, and on top of that, they're more expensive than the characters! Even on the surface this game is a buggy mess. It's a shame too because this game almost feels fun sometimes but on the whole it's just a chore. I originally had this on the Wii so I beat the game for a second time and I felt like the entire story I was waiting to get to post game and then when I got to post-game I was utterly disappointed. Even small things like not being able to save what Extras you have turned on make the game reek of untapped potential.

Same problem as with the second Lego Harry Potter game. The GPU usage keeps getting random usage tanks so what use to be 144fps goes straight down to 30 so there is some bug in this port.

Pretty much a dead game in my library.

The LEGO series will always hold a special place in my heart. An absolutely timeless set of games that ranges many different genres and franchises, LEGO Batman 2 is the peak of the LEGO Batman series. The first was great for the time it was released but has not aged amazingly graphically and leveling-wise. This game improved on every single aspect of the first. Voice acting, controls, the suit system, character count, free roam/open world, collectibles, you name it. The story itself was a great, whimsical adventure bringing you from the slums of Gotham to Metropolis to the Wayne Tower. The levels were all unique and fun to play through. I cannot recommend this game enough. Though LEGO Batman 3 was entertaining, I would say this game was more enjoyable. Graphics and controls were better for 3 but 2 definitely had a better feel that I can't quite place my finger on.

Note: it's a LEGO game, that means use a controller. You're doing it wrong if you use KBnM

Controller very heavily recommanded, but multiplayer is only local. Playing through the story is very fun, as is collecting all the characters and the vehicules.
