When indie game developers Alexey and Markus are in trouble, their only hope comes from their creation.
You are the Tetrobot: a tiny robot that can drill blocks of matter one by one, collect them, and recycle them into new pieces of 4 blocks. Blocks that matter ist ein spiel .. das mag man oder nicht, humor ist da aber nicht jeden sein geschmack

Positiv:
-spiel läuft
-spiel spaß
-creativität
-solche spiele gibt es nicht sehr oft
-grafik ist gut
-spiele verschiedene lv.

negativ:
-nicht mein geschmack von humor
(deswegen auch kein großer anreitz das spiel nochmals zu downlouden und anzufangen)
-story ist wirklich krass

doch wenn man denn geschmack mag ist das perfekt
(deswegen daumen nach oben)

Ich liebe dieses Spiel, anfangs konnte ich diesem nichts abgewinnen, jedoch wenn man die ersten Levels hinter sich gebracht hat wird es anspruchsvoller.
Ich konnte einfach nicht mehr aufhören es zu spielen und ich wollte einfach alles in diesem Spiel schaffen.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Mir hatte das Spiel vom Prinzip her gut gefallen, da die Puzzle sehr schön gemacht sind und die Grafik auch toll ist.

Jedoch... bereits im 4. oder 5. Level scheitere ich, nicht an den Puzzle, aber an dem verfolgenden Monster.
Somit ist das Spiel für mich kein gutes Puzzlespiel, da es nicht um Logik, sondern um Jump and Run geht.

Schade eigentlich.

Da erfinden die Schweden einen automatischen Nasenbohrer, der mir als mega praktisch erscheint, und was machen sie daraus? Ein Spiel...... (-_-) Na toll, also weiter die Finger schmutzig machen.

Aber trotz der Talentfehleinschätzung, ein tolles Spiel mit vielen classischen Elementen.

Rätselspaß für alle garatiert.

Bin dann mal wieder mit dem Finger in der Nase....!

It's a great game - a combination of logical puzzle solving, dimensional thinking and some timed jumping. It's not too hard - unless you decide to collect the stars (to get the green star you have to accumulate quite a lot of unused block at the end of the level - and it can be tricky).
The story is cute - and the main character - just adorable!
Buy this game, To support its great developers at least. :)

The game is okay for a puzzle game. The story is kinda dumb, but whatever because it's a puzzle game. I didn't mind the platform elements or speed elements (except the stupid timing of Hellgate). The lack of an undo button is absolutely insane as a single mistake and you need to redo the whole level. Puzzle games have some mechanic which either allows you to rewind or achieves the same thing in a different way. It would be a much better game with a rewind feature.

puzzley enough to need an undo button it doesn't, actiony enough to to undermine its own puzzliness, kinda weird, kinda lousy. i think there's music from VVVVVV in this

I think this is a big playtime game for me because i idled a bunch when cards were first introduced and this was one of the first games to have them and i made like five bucks off of it. ive actually played this a bunch over the past few games and i like it a lot.

The earlier puzzles aren't too bad, but as the game goes on and the stages get longer, you increase your chances at screwing yourself. The game isn't even merciful enough to have an undo mechanic - if you make one mistake, you have to restart the whole level. Way too punishing for a puzzle game, would not recommend.

The nature of the puzzles in Blocks That Matter is such that it is very easy to make accidental but irreversible errors, forcing a complete restart of levels that may actually involve several smaller puzzle steps. The result is that a cute, easy puzzle platformer becomes tedious and maddening by repetition.

I can't say how much of that is personal preference or not, but I can just say that this was very boring for me.

I think it has to do with being able too easily to screw things up and having to redo a long passage of the game, which often needs you to be careful and progress slowly.

The thing is, you have to make mistakes to understand how to play, right from the start, and the game punishes you for that in a way that impedes progress completely.

I mean, you might want to try it, it might be more your cup of tea, but you're warned.

Actually a really cool fusion of Tetris and Minecraft, as a puzzle-platformer where you seriously have to plan your moves in advance due to the limited resources at your disposal.
