Back to the Future wird in fünf Episoden erscheinen. Dieser werden ab Release in den kommenden fünf Monaten erscheinen.

Episode 1 – It's About Time
Marty versucht sich wieder in die 1980er Jahre einzuleben, als die DeLorean Zeitmaschine, die eigentlich von einem Zug zerstört wurde, vor ihm auftaucht. Er erfährt, dass Doc Brown irgendwo in der Vergangenheit gefangen ist und er in der Zeit zurückreisen muss, um die Zukunft von Doc zu retten.

Episode 2 – Get Tannen!
Während sie ein Auge auf das sprichwörtliche Date des jungen Doc Brown mit seiner wissenschaftlichen Bestimmung haben, müssen Marty und der Doc aus den 80er Jahren den Gangboss Kid Tannen davon abhalten verheerenden Schaden an Martys Familie anzurichten und seine Freundin aus der Zukunft zu löschen.

Episode 3 – Citizien Brown
Nach einer rauen Rückkehr in die 80er Jahre, findet sich ein gestrandeter Marty in einer auf den Kopf gestellten Version der Welt wieder, die von dem rätselhaften »First Citizen Brown« regiert wird.

Episode 4 – Double Visions
Es ist Zeit für die Hill Valley Expo! Im Jahr 1986 müssen Marty und der »First Citizen Brown« sich zusammentun, um eine Erfindung epischen Ausmaßes zu erschaffen, um den jungen Emmett Brown davon abzuhalten, den größten Fehler seines Lebens zu begehen.

Episoden 5 – OUTATIME
Leben werden verändert, Rätsel werden gelöst und Zeit-Paradoxien werden vermieden, als der junge Emmett sein Schicksal annimmt und Marty und Doc auf eine sich zuspitzende Jagd durch die Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft von Hill Valley schickt.

Ich kann allen Point & Click-, sowie Zurück in die Zukunft-Fans diese Spielreihe empfehlen. In 5 Episoden wird hier eine wirklich tolle Geschichte erzählt, untermalt mit dem original Soundtrack, sowie wirklich guten neuen Musikstücken, die perfekt zusammen passen.

Ich habe das Spiel vor 5 oder 6 Jahren gekauft und habe (da ich glücklicherweise ein sehr schlechtes Film- und Spiel-Gedächtnis habe) mich spontan entschieden es nochmal zu spielen. Es hat nicht an Charme verloren, und macht einen Riesen-Spaß. Die Grafik ist auch in 2021 noch immer gut, auch wenn man natürlich dem Spiel das altern schon ansieht. Das macht dem Spielspaß aber überhaupt keinen Abbruch.

Die deutsche Vertonung ist außergewöhnlich gut und man kann das Spiel und auch die schön gescripteten Zwischensequenzen einfach nur genießen. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Hey Leute, hier ist mein kleines Review zu Back to the Future: Ep 1 it's About Time. Ich hoffe es hilft euch und vielleicht guckt ihr euch das Spiel mal an und probiert es aus C;

Inhalt

Back to the Future: Ep 1 ist ein Lustiges Game. Man begleitet Marty Mcfly durch seine Reise durch die Zeit und erlebt viele Unterschiedliche Dinge. Es sind auch die Bekannten Gesichter Dabei, wie z.B Doc, Einstein, Edna Strickland und George.

Handlung

Während Marty gerade dabei ist Docs Wertvolle Notizen vor dem Flohmarkt zu retten, Reist der Delorean mit Einstein und einer Kassette in das Jahr 1886. Nachdem Marty herausgefunden Hat in welche Zeit er muss um Doc zu retten lernt man Edna Strickland kennen, welche einen Hinweis auf das Jahr gibt in welches man muss. Als Marty in der Richtigen Zeit ankommen, trifft er auf Den Jungen Doc, seinen Großvater, Die Junge Edna und auf Tannen.

Mein Fazit

Als großer Back to the Future Fan ist das Spiel für mich ein muss gewesen und es hat sich mehr als gelohnt! Die Story war sehr Lustig und die kleinen Hinweise bzw. Anspielungen auf den Film waren ebenfalls Passend.
Ich empfehle das Spiel jedem der die Filme gesehen hat, da das Spiel manchmal Sehr auf die Geschehnisse der Filme zurückgreift. Ich hoffe dass das Spiel bald wieder in den Steamstore zurück kommet und man es sich wieder kaufen kann.

Die Steuerung ist eine Katastrophe (WASD + Maus), in Episode 1 kann man nicht frei speichern (in den anderen Episoden schon) und die Rätsel sind zu leicht. Trotzdem würde ich dieses Spiel weiterempfehlen und zwar an alle, die die Filmtrilogie mochten. Telltale fängt Witz und Charme der Serie voll auf. Das Spiel ist ein reines klassisches Adventure (mit verkorkster Steuerung) ohne Entscheidungssystem (wie in den neueren Telltale-Spielen).
Schade, dass Telltale sich mittlerweile nur an derzeit populären Franchises bedient. Mit Zurück in die Zukunft haben sie auf jeden Fall ein Spiel für alle Fans der Filmreihe rausgebracht.

Spiel:

„Zurück in die Zukunft“ (Episode 1 bis 5) das Spiel was praktisch den vierten Teil wiederspiegelt. Alles was man aus den Filmen her kennt wird hier nochmals selbst in einer neuen Geschichte nachgespielt.

Einzelspieler:

Man spielt Marty, der wiedermal in der Zeit zurück reist um etwas zu “reparieren“ bzw. so zu ändern das es wieder mal einigermassen passt. Man spielt sich in Point&Klick Manier durch die Stages und erkundet Hill Valley in verschiedenen Zeitachsen. Wie immer geht natürlich beim Ändern der Zeit immer wieder etwas schief was es meistens schlimmer macht als es vorher war (genauso wie in den Filmen).

Die Grafik ist gut, dennoch nicht die schönste.

Die Musik ist ganz OK, nicht wie in den Filmen aber dennoch daran angeleht.

Die Steuerung ist mit Maus einfach grauenhaft, mit einem XBOX360 Gamepad ist sie gut aber dennoch nicht perfekt zu steuern.

+ schöne Charakter- und Stagemodelle, man erkennt alles wieder aus den Filmen

- Gespräche nicht immer vollständig am Ende
- viele kleine Bugs (die das Spielgeschehen aber nicht beeinflussen)
- Ausgewählte Sachen wie Namen werden in späteren Episoden nicht mit übernommen
- Sprach Einstellungen werden nicht gespeichert ab Episode 3
- Videos hacken sehr oft bei Übergängen

Fazit:

Ein Spiel was wirklich sehr schön gemacht ist, und von jedem Fan der Filme sicherlich ein blick wert ist. Dennoch für Leute die, die Filme nicht gesehen haben eher uninteressant da viele Witze und Ereignisse nur für kennen Lustig sind. Es wurde sich viel Mühe gegeben alles so darzustellen das man wirklich einen Film spielt was sehr schön rüberkommt dennoch sind die vielen kleinen Bugs mir ein Dorn im Auge. Was mich am meisten stört ist das alles in Episoden unterteilt ist, es Müllt die Steam Bibliothek zu und muss alles neu eingestellt werden da die Speicher getrennt sind und nicht von der nächsten Episode berücksichtigt werden. Wer also ein richtiger Filmfan ist und eine Gamepad hat wird hier dennoch nicht enttäuscht. 12 Stunden Spielzeit sind auch nicht zu verachten wenn man das Spiel das erste Mal durchspielt. Dennoch für 22,99€ viel zu teuer, ich habe es für 2,29€ gekauft wofür es sich auch gelohnt hat.

Hier haben wir ein Point and Click Adventure welches uns auf ein Abenteuer entführt in welchem man sofort alle vertrauten Erzählelemente der Filme wiederfindet.
Es handelt sich aber um keinen Aufguss der Filmtrilogie, vielmehr ist es eine Fortführung.
Wir bekommen eine ganz neue Geschichte präsentiert.
Marty und Doc Brown wirbeln hierbei wieder kräftig die Vergangenheit Hill Valley´s durcheinander.
Um eine Ahnung des Storyumfangs zu vermitteln... Der 2te Teil der Reihe ist hierfür eine gute Referenz.
Aufgeteilt ist das ganze in 5 Kapitel die je bis zu 3h Spielzeit liefern.

Gefallen einem die Filme, wird man dieses Spiel genauso wertschätzen.
Mochte man diese nicht, wird man vermutlich auch keinen gefallen an diesem Spiel haben.

Für Kenner der Filme, ein Muss. Ich selbst schau mir auch heute noch gerne die Klassiker im TV an und durch die Aufmachung und Synchro der Episodenreihe aber auch durch bekannte Personen und nette Spieleelemente, macht es viel Spaß mit Marty und Doc die Zukunft, Vergangenheit und Gegenwart unsicher zu machen.

Back to the Future: Ep 1 - It's About Time (2010)

Sure by now everybody knows the amazing films that is the Back to the Future series. I myself plan to rewatch the movies before going on with the game series as I watched them so long ago and need a little crash course again with names and places. Episode one of the Telltale series is pretty great and brings back some memories. The Doc is gone and its up to Marty to save him in the past. You interact with objects and solve some puzzles as you play. Great movies, great game!

Back to the Future: The Game is a fun extra narrative twist on a movie series that many of us enjoy. At the end of the day, it is an original story on the Telltale engine (which by now, you know if you love or hate) and worth playing if you have played other Telltale games or love Back to the Future. Literally my only qualm with the game is that the five episodes are split up across five games in my library rather than one (like other Telltale titles) but that is more of a preferential thing and something I believe they did on Steam with their earlier titles.

I am not a fan of Point & Click games.
But I played Back to the Future: The Game till the very end, all 5 episodes.
And I really enjoyed it.

The story is pretty good, getting into the past of Hill Valley was very enjoyable.
However, even a great story would not convince me to play this genre if actions to be done in a game would be too absurd. In this game tasks are logical most of time, I usually more-less knew what should be connected with what. When I stuck at some points I could always check out built-in hints that were always detailed enough for me to be able to pass them.

The biggest con of the game is that locations are empty. Except the few NPCs that are important to the story the city is dead. There are no one else, not even non-interactive NPCs. There are very very few citizens on the streets somewhere in the background, seeing a car is a rare view. But what hurt the most was a big Expo exhibition that had no visitors. That was really really sad.

Still, as a game itself Back to the Future: The Game is a solid title worth playing. Fans of the movie should not be disappointed.

It's a shame how they took this game off of shelves/store. This is the only tell tale game I like and I'm really glad I could find a way to get it on steam. Basically a 13 hour 4th movie, does have some downsides like jank animations and things like that but not enough problems to really effect the experience.

I grew up with back to the future and I had the game on my ps3 I have had this game on my pc for a long time and I love going back to it every year I play all the way through and I still love it I wait a year to play it again and again it never gets old thanks for the memories I love this game I have all the movies on vhs yes that is how old I am but not that old lol

Totally enjoyed the entire 5 part series. It ran flawlessly from beginning to end on Proton 5 on Kubuntu Linux in 2021. It's a cryin' shame this game is no longer available for sale on Steam.

Clunky, cartoony, dated story inspired by Back the the Future movies. Each episode is a separate game, weird but hey. I got bored quick, couldn't finish first episode because of gameplay issues and randomly getting stuck, restarting checkpoint, etc. Try if you like the movies.

It can be hard to separate the nostalgia of the movies from the game, but the draw to revisit the classic characters is still strong. Gameplay has aged some but not enough to turn away players.

Episode 1 - 8/10 [Current Review]

For Back to the Future, this first episode is alright overall. If you love the movies and characters, you'll probably get pulled into it like I was. If it wasn't for the ending of the episode, I'd probably rank a bit lower. The episode is about Doc disappearing and Marty setting out to find him, and of course, traveling time! I liked the general setting of where you travel to, and since it's actually new (instead of repeating a story from the movies), it's nice to learn details.

However, since the episode is the start, it's primarily just for buildup. The first half of the episode is just getting used to point-and-click puzzles, without much happening, and then the second half is meeting characters. It makes sense, but also means I can't really rate it as anything other than what it is: the starting point.

This is a fairly standard point-and-click adventure game, so far as puzzles go. Nothing is too hard. Some puzzles are super easy, some seem mostly arbitrary.

That aside, this is a bad game. It's super slow-paced. The animations are creepy and bad. If you pause while someone's face is moving, it will reset to their default face during the pause. The lip syncing is never even close to accurate, even on accident. And the voice acting is not good, at all. The main two character's voices are kind of close, Biff Tanen is so far off I thought it was a different character at first.

The gameplay is super slow. My gosh does this game want to pad play time through terrible walk animations and characters repeating dialogue. Also it doesn't matter what you say for literally any conversation choice. The game will answer as if you picked the one it wanted you to regardless. Did you say Doc disintigrated Einstein? No? Too bad, he'll tell you he didn't disintegrate anything no matter what you say.

Maybe that's just commentary on how no one can really change the future.'

If you love Back to the Future you might like parts of this, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

Only huge Back To The Future fans will love it. For other gamers - it's just a normal novel with enjoyable plot.

I bought this game awhile back, and honestly it's not awful- but it's incredibly slow to work through the story and started feeling like a chore rather than enjoyable to me. For that reason I put it down and will probably not be picking this game back up. Out of all the Telltale games I've played, this is only a bit better than the Game of Thrones one. If you don't mind slower paced games and want more story on the Back to the Future series, then get this game- I just can't personally recommend it.

It's a shame that this product is not available anymore.
I like Telltale's games. This one has just a bit clunky movement, but that's the only complaint.
Back to the future + lore + jokes + those funny facial animations (sarcastic, ironic etc).. It's just great.
Finished this episode on mobile first, then bought all episodes here.
I just wished the episodes were inside one game, not a separate items.
Overall, if you have it or can get from somewhere - got for it!
