17.05.16 15:23 Community Announcements
Hi guys and girls!

This is the first post in a series to try and make our thought process behind what we do a little more clear to you guys.

First of all, thank you to all of you who have played BattleSouls so far, it really means a lot to us. And a special thanks goes out to the community members who continually try to teach new players the game and keep sending us their suggestions and feedbac, we really appreciate it!

Battlesouls has been live for about 5 days straight and there have been some minor issues, the most annoying one is the speedhackers, luckily they have been the only cheaters and have been banned and that security hole should now be fixed with beta 0.5.1.

This first patch was all about ironing out some small stuff across the board and getting that anti cheat beefed up.

Our main priority for the next patch is improving the first time experience for new players. We are recieving a lot of feedback that it can be very confusing the first time around, and we are going to adress that with a playable tutorial to replace the 'how to play' pop-up.

We will try and patch the game as often as possible and will for the most part plan the coming patches as we go along, based on what the community finds important.

I can't promise exactly when he will be ready, but we have a new character in the works as well that we hope to bring to you guys very soon.

We are discussing back and forth on the team which new game mode it could be cool to add when we get the time to do it, and if you have any suggestions for it, please look up the game mode thread in the community hub.

We have also gotten some concerns from the community about the pricing in the shop, especially the prices of the pets.
Pricing of virtual stuff is always hard, especially when we want our game to not be pay to win and only sell stuff that does not give an advantage.

We had put in some prices that we thought was fair, but it turns out we might have been wrong.
We have adjusted the prices of the pets in way that they are now cheaper so more of our players gets to enjoy them, but also in a way that we can still make money of them to continue the development of BattleSouls.

As always all comments or concerns are welcome, we take all your input in to consideration when working on BattleSouls.

On behalf of the Pixeleap team
Thank you
Peter
