Dear Community,

We’re coming back with another Cityconomy patch, which includes a feature a lot of you have been asking for from the very beginning and a set of some other changes and fixes. Thanks for keeping us posted about what your ideas are and for all the comments and reports.

Here’s more about this update:

Red light tickets

Before this patch you could get tickets for crashes, but not for driving through a red light. As the idea for this feature kept coming back in your comments, we decided to finally add it to the game. Now you will get fined for this kind of reckless driving, so be careful!

Gameplay options

Then we thought: ‘OK, but what if players got used to not being fined for running a red light and won’t be happy about the change?’ You can now check the Options menu and in the Gameplay section modify for which offences you want to be punished.

Unassigning keybindings

The lack of this option caused some confusion and issues during control configuration. Now it’s available and we hope this will help you in configuring your favourite controller to your liking and playing the way you want to.

Employee work time

Employees work too long and it is possible to exploit them to earn money by fast forwarding time? Not any more. As you suggested, now it takes an employee less time (only 15 minutes) to complete a task, but fast forwarding time (still available) will not affect it - they will still have to finish the job in real time.

Smaller improvements

Some fixes to how trucks and other task objects behave during work were made. This also included multiplayer and HUD improvements, and some bugs you recently reported.

Let us know what you think of the new patch! We wish it were possible to include all the updates you requested and all of your suggestions right away, but unfortunately it will require some time and us keeping on working. Stay tuned for more!

Best regards,
Cityconomy Team
