Legends of Persia is an Action RPG Adventure game in style of diablo which incorporates bloody battles, Item usage, Character building, and storyline incorporation. The storyline revolves around Keykhosro, the son of the Persian prince Siavosh, who in the name of his father's blood, wants to take revenge upon Afrasiab, the king of Tooran.

Throughout the game, the character will face difficult challenges to overcome, such as defeating massive waves of enemies, encountering difficult bosses, and finally dealing with Afriasiab, his father's killer. The mythology of this storyline will take you to depths you have never been before, as you encounter the famous fable of Siavosh.

Die Zwischensequenzen haben ein schicken Zeichenstil, dass ist auch schon alles was ich gutes über das Spiel sagen kann.
- lineares Hack&Slay
- unfertige Sprachausgabe
- Beschriftungen von Items und Menu sind komisch
- Welt, Animationen, Items,... es ist einfach alles so minimalistisch

Bei Legends of Persia handelt es sich um ein Rollenspiel im weitesten Sinne eine Art Hack and Slay Spiel.

Glücklicherweise bekam ich das Spiel für 70 cent denn selbst das ist schon fast zu viel für dieses Spiel.

Pros:
- Die Shop Screenshots passen zum Spiel ( irgendetwas musste ich finden)

Contra:
- Das kampfsystem ist extrem mies und kauf Steuerbar welchen Gegner der Char genau angreifen soll.
- Nach gerademal 80 Minuten war ich durch das Spiel ( Dabei musste ich wegen Abstürzen level 2 gleich 3 x wiederholen (Dauer ca 20 Minuten)
- Boss 1 aus den Achievements scheint es nicht zu geben denn nach dem Scorpionboss bekommt man Achievements Boss 1 + 2 und auf dem 2ten istd er Scorpion abgebildet, vorher sah ich keinen Boss
- Boss 5 Achievement ist eigentlich kein Boss sondern nur ein etwas stärkerer Gegner den der Endboss herbeibeschwört
was bedeutet das man für Boss 1 gleich 2 achievements bekommt und beim Endboss 2 wodurch es keine 6 sondern eigentlich nur 4 Bosse gibt.
- Level 2 stürzt dauernd ab, abhilfe verschafft es nur entweder es lang genug zu testen oder einfach durchzurennen und den Boss zu erschlagen
- Schwierigkeitsgrade sind mies gestaltet ( Ich spielte auf Mittel von den 3 Schwierigkeitsgraden, im ersten Level kam es noch normal vor , in den volgenden Leveln dachte ich ich sei unsterblich.
- Die KI der NPC ist verdammt mies, NPC charaktere die mitkämpfen laufen stupide auf Gegner und lassen sich abschlachten, besodners nervig in Mission 1 die Verteidigungsquest auf Hart
- Es gibt 3 heraufbeschwörbare Kreaturen die man an manchen stellen bekommt ( Dämon, Tiger, Wolf) doch egal auf welches Bild man klickt man bekommt immer den Tiger
- Wenn amn die zwischensequenzen überspringt bekommt man teilweise ein Freeze, einmal sogar so extrem das der ganze PC sich nicht mehr steuern lies.
- Manche Shortcuts wie Shift + Klick zum verkaufen funktionieren nicht (Bei mir jedenfalls)
- Manchmal klickt man auf einen Ort zum laufen aber der Charakter reagiert nicht
- Skills sind schon bei 75% der Abklingzeit wieder nutzbar
- Das Spiel kommt einen insgesamt sehr langsam vor
- Die Achievements zählen oft nicht richtig oder es werden nur teilweise aktionen gezählt, zb man zerstört 10 Dinge es zählen aber nur 4 oder man nimmt in einem kampf 3 Tränke aber nur 1 zählt
- Die Achievements sind allgemein sehr Einfallslos
- Die Grafik ist recht schlecht
- 20€ sind extrem überteuert für die Spiellänge
- Manchmal stehen Gegner einfach in Wänden
- Das Aufsammeln von Items ist extrem nervig da man ewig draufklickt da diese teilweise im Boden verschwinden oder trotz anklicken nicht aufgehoben werden.

Werr es für ein paar cent findet kann es gerne mal testen aber über 50 cent ist eigentlich rausgeschmissenes Geld da sich auch nichts mehr ändern wird da die Devs das game anscheinend aufgegeben haben.

Die Grafik geht so und die Story ist auch ok.

Das Kampfsystem bzw. das Treffen der Gegner ist oft relativ Schwamig.
Es gibt kein direkten Vergleichen der Gegenstände(item) was oft nervig ist.

Beim durchspielen ist das Spiel auch einigemale abgestürzt ohne Fehlermeldung.

Fatzit:
Für einmaligen durchspielen (naja) ansonsten nicht empfehlenswert

This game is such a mess that the developer gave up on fixing it and instead just patched in God Mode and Level Skip cheats so people could technically reach the end of the game. That's an almost impressive level of terribleness.

+ DEV introduced cheats to finish the game rather then just fix the game

played it to get achievements and even that got annoying

I tried. God sees I tried to give this game a chance. And it failed beyond any expectations. I can't even call it a game! Missing textures. Missing music. Missing sounds. Missing text. Horrible controls. Difficulty that laughable at one point and menacingly cruel in a couple of screens. Constant crushes. Think about any bad video game thing and I can bet Legends of Persia has it!
This not a game. Alpha version as I can call it.
Avoid it at any cost. You've been warned.

This game is very very bad. It's a very poorly made diablo clone, everything is glitchy and laggy, nothing's really thought out or balanced, the game art is terrible (though i swear they worked harder on the cut scenes than the rest of the game combined).

I'm sorry, I really wanted to like this game, especially since there are so few games that actually deal with Persia and its mythologies (Prince of Persia notwithstanding), but I cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone. There's no actual randomized items, no deep character development, and the story looks interesting but sounds like it was badly translated. All together, the game comes across as bare-bones, it functions like its still in its development stages (hell, it probably is considering), and you really don't get bang for your buck. Thankfully I got this during the steam sale, so my wallet wasn't hit too bad, but still, unless the developers release a HUGE update that actually makes like it like an actually finished game, I don't think I have the strength to finish it. Plus, going by the achievements, its not very lengthy anyhow. Sorry folks, but look elsewhere for your hack'n'slash'n'cast'and gunnin fix.

horrible game. it bugs out when travelling back through completed quest areas. it has an extremely basic skills tree/char development and plot. items are also very bland/generic with only 3 lines of modifiers and is no where near as detailed/varied as the diablo series. the graphics/animation and controls are also poor. its easy to get lost during each quest because theres no minimap (or any kind of map). stay away, they're better free games on the internet.

I'd rate this a 3/10.. closer to a FREE flash game than a $20 game.
