How to add a new apartment?
- Mod "flat4" comes with the game (look into the "mods" folder). You can see the comments in the file code, there is also a file mods/flat4/img/for-mod-maker/bg-layout.jpg
How to use the Workshop mods?
- Click "subscribe" on Mod page in the workshop
- Restart the game - Mod automatically downloads
- On the starting page, open the "Mods" menu and activate the mode
How to create your mod
- Download the desired mod
- Duplicate the folder with the mod
- Create an archive of your folder
- At the starting page, open the "Mods" menu and activate the mod
- Make changes to your mod (do not forget about mod-about.txt and mod-image.jpg)
- Run the game and test your mod
- Make sure your mod works :)
- Close the game
- Create an archive of your folder (for example, you edited the folder my-first-mod - an archive my-first-mod.zip should be nearby)
- Make sure that my-first-mod.zip contains the folder my-first-mod
- Open the game in the "Disable Steam Overlay" mode
- At the starting page, open the "Mods" menu and upload your mod
How to install the mod not from a workshop
- Download the archive to the mods folder
- Unzip
- At the starting page, open the "Mods" menu and activate the mod
