SMITE ist ein kostenloses MMO mit welches sich am Spielprinzip von DOTA orientiert. Gespielt wird in der 3rd-Person-Ansicht, als Spielfigur bekommt man Götter an die Hand, die neben verschiedenste Kräfte auch Untergebene heraufbeschwören können.
Als Motor dient die allseits beliebte Unreal Engine 3.

Der Release-Termin wurde nach heftiger Kritik aus der geschlossenen Beta vorerst auf Mitte 2012 verschoben.

Ich möchte bereits nach 50 Stunden Spielzeit eine Rezension über Smite verfassen. Ich habe bereits in der Vergangenheit MOBAs gespielt, darunter auch League of Legends. Smite war von vorneherein ein ganz anderes Spielgefühl und hat mich auch direkt gepackt! Empfohlen wurde es mir aus meinem Freundeskreis und natürlich habe ich auch die meisten Games mit meinen Freunden gespielt, - macht ja auch am meisten Spaß! Aber ich möchte nicht viel drumherum reden und auch einfach mit der Rezension beginnen.

Spielstil

Natürlich ähnelt Smite allen anderen MOBAs vom Aufbau. Das Team besteht aus 5 Spielern, die sich eine jeweilige Rolle aussuchen können. Darunter gibt es den Jungler, Top/Sololaner, Midlaner & eine Botlane bestehend aus einem Carry und Support. Das Ziel des Spiels ist es, den gegnerischen Titan zu zerstören. Auf dem Weg zu diesem muss man Minions töten, Junglecamps clearen und die gegnerischen Türme zum Einsturz bringen. Der Knackpunkt in Smite ist jedoch, dass das alles in Third-Person-Perspektive spielt! Das gibt dem Ganzen ein einzigartiges Gefühl und fordert auch den Spieler ein wenig heraus.

Charaktere

In Smite gibt es natürlich auch eine riesige Auswahl an verschiedenen Champions! Hier wird kategorisiert nach Magiern, Assassinen, Kriegern, Wächtern und Jägern. Was ich persönlich besonders toll daran finde: bei den spielbaren Charakteren handelt es sich um Götter verschiedener Regionen! Darunter Hindu, Griechisch, Ägyptisch, Chinesisch, Römisch, Keltisch, Nordisch, Mayan. Man hat eine breitgefächerte Auswahl und es ist sicherlich für jeden etwas dabei! Zudem haben alle Charaktere ihre Vor- und Nachteile, was das Spielerlebnis natürlich auch noch mal steigert.

Persönliche Meinung

Natürlich habe ich noch keine lange Spielzeit in Smite, kann aber als erfahrener MOBA-Spieler folgendes sagen: es hat mich gepackt! Natürlich gibt es leider einige Nachteile. Darunter, dass oftmals während eines laufenden Spiels jemand aus dem eigenen oder gegnerischen Team AFK (verlässt die Runde) geht. Das ist natürlich sehr schade. Zudem mangelt auch leider oft an der Kommunikation untereinander, dennoch kann ich da auch nicht komplett meine Erfahrung teilen, da ich ziemlich oft nur mit Freunden spiele.

Das Game fühlt sich balanced an. Man ist - mmn - mit keinem Charakter extrem im Nachteil. Viele Charaktere beherrschen einen Dash, Jump oder ähnliches, aber dadurch, dass so gut wie jeder Charakter das hat, macht es das natürlich angenehmer zum spielen. Die Charaktere sind liebevoll designed und es gibt einige schöne Skins. Diese sind mir aber persönlich zu teuer, weswegen ich nicht viel darüber sagen kann. Man findet zudem auch schnell eine Runde zum spielen! Die Wartezeiten für die verschiedenen Modi sind sehr angenehm.

An und für sich kann ich Smite jedem ans Herz legen, der gerne MOBAs spielt und vielleicht eine kleine Abwechslung sucht!

Alter was ist falsch gelaufen in eurem fucking Leben @Hi-Rez Leute?
Noch nie so ein abgefucktes Report System gesehen, nur weil man Leute outplayed oder aufs übelste auseinander nimmt im 1v1 obwohl Sie überlegen sein sollten von Gear/Level wird man am Ende Reportet und kriegt einen Bann? Wofür bitte schön?
Fürs Gut sein? Nur weil die Leute schlechte Verlierer sind mit Ihren Diamond-Ranked Chars und 7Sternen+ oder was?

Lächerlich Sorry, 2 Tage in Folge nen Bann gekriegt, fürs nichts tun, danke dafür.
Mit den lächerlichen Skin & Paket's die man sich kaufen kann, oder gar teilweise muss weil der Pass nicht mehr vor Free alles hergibt , könntet Ihr auch einfach mal Leute ins Team holen die, die Scheiss Reports auch mal durchlesen und überprüfen ob der Report-Boy wirklich den Report verdient hat, oder ob die Leute einfach reporten weil sie nicht verlieren können und es am Ego gekratzt hat so auseinander genommen zu werden.

Vor ab ich kannte das spiel nicht und fand es interessant da da sehr viele verschiede götter zu sehen waren die gegeneinander kämpfen, ich habe das game jz 9h gezockt 4h alleine und 5h mit einem freund es macht mega laune und hat ein hohen suchtfaktor :) , der aufbau der spiels kann man sich wie das spiel LOL vorstellen nur finde ich es 100x besser besonders da es so viele vertraute Mythologien exestieren von Griechisch bis indisch und Nördisch und ganz viele andere Helden,Schurken,Götter,Monster.... einfach der hammer ;-)

Lustiges spiel ! Man kommt sehr schnell dahinter wie es funktioniert und es macht einfach spaß. Die Tastenbelegung ist zwar etwas schwierig und insgesamt ist das spiel auch etwas schnell und durcheinander aber dennoch ist es eins, meiner meinung nach, der besten strategie und action spiele die es so gibt.

Wird mehr und mehr buggy mit jedem Patch. Server-probleme, Login-Probleme, Balance-probleme, Content bezieht sich nur noch auf Skins, die mittlerweile weit über 12€ kosten, oder hinter einer Pay-wall sind die bis in die 90€ geht.
Das Matchmaking ist absolut schlecht. Es kommt kein Feedback zu irgendwas vom Dev-Team. Probleme? Wie z.B. 99999 Minuten login Wartezeit? Schreib bloß nicht auf Twitter, da kriegst du keine Antwort. Und Kritik auf Reddit? Instant gelöscht von den Moderatoren.

Ich mag das Spiel. Das Gameplay ist aktiongeladen und bringt Spaß, aber die Devs interessiert nurnoch das gute, alte Geld.

I've played on steam over 2000 hours, console probably another 2000-3000 and been playing since season 2. The lack of support for the game is unbelievable. I've always came back to the game no matter what they did, but with how shit the severs still are over 5 years later is actually crazy. Devs only care about money from skins and not making a functional game. As an AVID fan of the game, the game is fun, the people who handle it are shit. I'm done giving it tries to get better, it won't.

The community and report system makes this game unbearable. I've interacted with probably 4 nice strangers over the course of my time playing this game. No one really types to talk, and for good reason--type in the chat and someone will find SOMETHING to report you for, especially if you're on a team with a pre-made. If 3 people on your team queued together and they don't like you, they can just mass report you and get you suspended, easy. Report system is absolute dog shit. The report system is automated garbage and real people will never look over the reports. For a game with a large player base it's a wasteland devoid of human interaction and you get punished for trying to be social. This might as well just be a single-player game with how empty it feels.

This is a really great MOBA game...with friends. Playing alone is a 80/20 split between trolls and toxic players. Find a group and always play with them for a consistently good experience.

Like anything Hi-Rez, everything but the core idea is Low-Rez.
I'd like to spend money on this shit, but I'm kinda deterred from doing so every time the game freezes in the character selection screen, I've to close the game (alt-f4 doesn't work btw) and after the match's over I get a deserter penalization.

Ahh, Smite, what a hidden gem in online e-sport scenery

I'm an old player, I've been in beta-testing of this game. I can't say I exactly enjoyed it back then as game was unbalanced, everything was glitchy, servers often going down or whatever the hell HiRez was doing that got me into taking break from this game...

But since recently, I started slowly coming back to this game and let me tell you this;

I have great fun in it, like for real. Game is still a little bit off balance but improvements have been made massively, graphics is looking a little better to what it was as well, lots of changes each season I noticed...
This game just has it's own life and I love it, and when you're playing this with friends? God damn, even the ones that don't know much about it, they have fun as well!

I know a lot of people complain about community being toxic because most of this game genres are like that but honestly I don't meet toxicity here after all this time. People just either ignore or play along even if you're bad which I find supportive compared to games that I've played such as dota or league of lego where people can become real douche bags just because you picked wrong champion.

So ya! Gather your friends and let's meet on battlegrounds of the Gods! I totally recommend this and feel free to add me if you want someone to play with ^^

Now i have 1000+ hours in the game (and i'm bored at work) i feel its high time i wrote a review for SMITE.

i play a variety of games on my PC but smite is the only MOBA type of game i've ever really gotten into. and i can confidently say i still enjoy it today like i did when i first started playing (at the start of UK's 1st lockdown) since i started playing smite i have picked up other games along my way, multiple games i've gotten really excited about and loved playing (such as sea of thieves for example) but i find they always 'peak' and the excitement dies down after a few months. but i don't get that with smite. i find no matter what mood i am in or what games i am currently playing, smite is always there in the background as an option and my excitement for the game has never really died. i can see myself playing this game for many years to come ( which frightens me slightly-lol). Dont get me wrong, there are many times i get frustrated and annoyed and i may even be known to rage quit from time to time *insert ashamed face* but i always find the following day the annoyance has vanished and im excited to play again. i feel what excites me the most about smite (apart from the fact its free!) is that every game is different. although on paper the 'matches' are the same, there is no two matches the same, and you never know how its going to turn out at the end. its purely a skill-based game which i enjoy because i know if i lose against someone its because they are better than me and not because they've spent money upgrading there weapons or whatever it may be.

to conclude, smite is a fantastic game that's very well thought through. i would highly recommend to anyone thinking about picking it up. I've had many many hours of fun and laughs and i have met multiple life long friends from around the world as a result of the game. be warned though, with it being such a skill based competitive game the community can be slightly toxic at times, but don't let it dis hearten you, as i said previously i have made some great pals and no doubt will find more along the way. 10/10, 5 star game.

Fantastic MOBA that listens to player feedback (sometimes a little slow, but they get there). For the amount of characters and items, the balancing is quite reasonable as well. Love the designs and the output of new skins is quite impressive compared to a lot of other games.

this games community is the most toxic in my opinion , you have the slightest inconvenience and the forfeit the match and that is the least of it over the course of 5 years playing this game I've been called trash , worth less than dirt , literally told to hang myself with my computer equipment at least they were somewhat creative with no way to abate this aside from blocking and reporting with little result. which is a shame with out it there isn't much to complain about they developed the game fine at this point semi well balanced, frequent event give you pretty fare rewards for participating.

while i wouldnt recommend this game if you want a friendly community its game play is decent

Well, ca. 1.500 hours recorded on steam should tell you enough, but if it doesn't you can probably triple that number to account for the hours before it became only available on steam.

Pro's:
- No P2W factors whatsoever
- Multiple game modes (I barely touch conquest, Assault FTW)
- Frequent introduction of a new playable Gods (or alike), currently at the time of writing no less than 115 playable characters!!
- Sh!t ton of skins
- Volatile outcome of a match!!
(you could be losing for 20 minutes and do a comeback and win anyway)
- 3D MOBA (No top-down approach stuff)

Cons:
- You're reading this instead of playing this.

With the smite launcher and stuff I have over 2k hours in this game.
Anyway that’s not really important.
Don’t play this game because you’ll fall into a loop of regret and pain. For some dumb reason you can’t stop playing even though you know the game sucks.

Why does the game suck?
Matchmaking is like back in school when you lined up with your friend to get on the same team but then the teacher counts differently.

The servers are run by an unplucked potato.

Balancing also doesn’t exist for this crap - even though they go through playtesting and stuff all new gods released are either shit or op/broken. When a new god comes out you better just pray that the enemy has no clue how to play the game.

Hirez has a lot of cool staff; too bad its very overshadowed by some who are really trash.

TLDR: dont play

Toxic community (racists, death threats, trolling) + greedy devs ($20 for ONE skin(Exclusive ONLY not limited), avatar for ur profile, and 400 gems ($5) worth... WTF ). Also everyone's been asking for them to fix their goddamn servers.. but no.. MUST PUT OUT MORE NEITH SKINS. Owh and guess what.. if you suddenly DC or can't click anything while matchmaking you will get a deserter penalty for 2 hours just because they can't get their things together.

Advice for all players: Don't play this goddamn game on the weekends. You will be queued up with people who are drunk, high, or some little kid who's up past his bed time vs fully organized parties who's gonna clap your cheeks. Only play if you have friends or else you will want to throw your PC.

Overall, if you like a toxic community with shiny skins that costs an arm and a leg with a side of the servers fkin you. This game is for you.

Note: They also don't know how to fix bugs or balance gods in this game. You will see everyone picking the same gods every match because the other gods require more effort and skill vs a god that can 2 shot you with 2 keys. The latest god out has a bug that makes you slowed through the entire match practically.

If I'm being honest, this game has good gameplay, interesting character abilities, and decent skins. The main thing that makes this game so bad is the community and skill discrepancy. Very rarely will you be matched with someone of equal skill level as you; but even then it doesn't matter. The players are the most toxic I've seen on any game, and the ability to laugh and taunt spam makes it worse.
TLDR; gameplay is good, but the community is toxic and the matchmaking is beyond garbage.

Ive reached masters ranked conq, gm ranked duel and ive played comp and in tournaments. This game is aids, and it just gets worse, its time consuming as hell for no reward. Its unfun, unbalanced and meta whores, every fun idea they come up with they rework, they refuse to balance duel and they release so many skins behind MASSIVE paywalls that are sometimes unbuyable after a certain time. Just trash.

So here is my honest take on this game after 939 hrs on pc and over 1500 hrs on xbox:

1. The most absolutely toxic community you'll ever experience. Much more toxic than LOL or Dota. In public lobbies don't expect too much team play at all. So if you're a lone wolf gamer, this game is not gonna be your thing. Trust me and save yourself the hours of frustration.

2. After they made cross play possible they said you could link your accounts from console to pc and such which was a complete lie. I did link them and got nothing. I didn't receive my god pack nor any of the 250+ skins I had (most of which I purchased for ungodly amounts of cash) Pun intended. So I made a support ticket and their response was sucks to be you (in a nutshell). They didn't reimburse or give me the god pack free. Hell, they could have given me a season pass or something for my troubles. Nope. Really appreciative company they are.

3. Ranking systems are screwed. You don't get your MMR (Match Making Rating) raised/lowered by your personal gameplay at all. If you win, it raises and if you lose, it lowers.

4. I am honestly convinced that SMITE is mostly populated by League of Legends and Dota rejects who couldn't hack it on a real moba. Most of what I'm typing is sheer anger because I'm tired of the toxicity and then the problems with the game only compound the community problem. Smite can be super fun, but the bad far out ways the good. Save yourself the headache play League or Dota. Far better community. And that's saying a lot trust me.

Decent game. I guess.

4k on steam + idk how much hours on normal launcher.

It's fun if you stay positive, grind and keep learning, toxicity is there but If you just ignore it, try to improve on yourself, its ok, takes a while to learn and be good.

Definetly would play again every single day even if I play badly or my teammates suck.

TL:DR: It's fun, try it.

A 3rd person MOBA that has some fun gameplay and great character designs.
This plays like a lot of MOBAS in terms of how to play, but the 3rd person is a fun twist.

Smite is a good MOBA game with a lot of heroes to try out.
You will have fun with people you know or you can just go and play online.

If you want to play against bots thats also possible. And you can learn how to play. or just relax and sit back.
Smite is a fun game that will give a MOBA fan a great new experience. It doesnt do annything new. But the small changes are a great way to put this one next to some of the greats.

This has to be THE most toxic player base iv'e had the disspleasure of playing with.
PLayers give up too early in game and either just sit at spawn or talk trash on team,lose one tower and they freak.

This has been one of my favorite games for the past few years, I played a bunch on Xbox and gathered up around 2000 hours before I made my switch to PC. It's basically LoL but in third person. It's based around teamwork and strategy and that's the best aspects of it.

With all that being said, I hate this damn game with all my heart now. I don't know why I come back to play this for it is one of the most rage inducing things I've ever took part in. 80% of the matches I play are with players from different continents playing on NA servers who do not understand how to play assigned roles or speak English making it very hard to communicate and especially hard to secure the epic Victory Royale.

Hi-Rez, Please for the love of god region lock the servers, I just want to win a match again.

hard game to get into and definitely not for everyone, but if you can get past all that and learn the game to a pretty large extent, outplaying the opponent is the best feeling in the world.
if you're not from na or eu, your matchmaking experience is probably going to be dogshit and the quality of servers can be playable but sometimes tilting.
if hirez can keep dragging in more new players AND KEEP THEM THERE then this game could be quite popular

Sometimes you're gonna get a pro that will carry his team on his back and sometimes you're gonna get a bigmewtwo2011 fenrir who just bought the god in the lobby and buys no items in game with a 1000 player total damage and goes 0-17, you just gotta roll that dice

Smite is invigorating. It’s not another MOBA. It takes one aspect of a MOBA’s structure and builds on it until it's something else entirely. Smite has developed into an action game.
One with lanes, creeps and towers, all the things you’d expect from a MOBA, but even the familiar looks different when viewed from Smite’s refreshing perspective.

This game isnt horrible or bad even theres alot of cool aspects this MOBA offers that others dont but the problem is the balancing is quite possibly the shittiest thing ive ever seen in the many years that ive been playing video games. Sometimes it feels like they flip a coin to determine what aspect of the game they'll fuck up so they can spend all their hours developing more skins instead of fixing real problems and bugs that the games had for years.

The concept of this game is fantastic. One of my favorite MOBAs.

However, the community is absolute trash. Every single person is toxic and no one ever wants to help. As of summer 2020, the game has been taken over by trolls.

That being said, the developers are just as bad. Several people in the community who have made smite as popular as it is constantly get abused by the dev team. Even casual players can fall victim to this as well.
The reporting system is a joke. If a team wants to ban you, all they have to do is mass report you and you get banned. The ban system is all computer generated.

TLDR; a good game with a complete joke of a management team and community.

I love spending over a thousand hours in a game, buying skins and battle passes to support a developer, just for them to suspend my account with no warning and no reason given. I really appreciate transparency. My best guess is that I said a naughty word at some point, and I got banned so Hi Rez could get some brownie points on twitter. It's pretty clear at this point that Hi Rez cares more about an agenda and money, than they do about putting out quality content. As much as I have tried to support them, and bring new players in, it is very clear there is a reason Smite sits at the bottom of the Moba totem pole. Don't give your money or time to a company that doesn't give a fuck about you.

Don't bother playing Smite. Your account wil be banned for no reason.
I had been playing Smite since beta (2012) and i have given more than 300 euros in this game. I had no problem until 2019. They changed their ban system and your account can be banned for no reason. I was playing alone (no premade) so whenever you are in a team with premades they can just report you and your account will be banned. They never check if reports are true. My first ban was for 6 months, i sent them a ticket asking them to check my reports manually. They didn't even bother to answer. I also made a post on reddit explaining the situation and they just erased my post. So 6 months after (when my account was back online) i decided to play Smite again. In 3 days i got permanently banned, again for no reason. Again i sent them again a ticket. Again they didn't answer. Although i kept supporting hi-rez and smite during all these years, now i know that it was a mistake. I just wasted my time on a game and on a company that doesn't care about their players.

In all honesty, after spending a lot of time on this game( i actually have more time played off steam, to round up around 6k), i don't feel really like recommending this game. It was a really good game a couple years ago, started to decline very quickly since the dev team had more attention to the estetic asppect of the game rather than fixing their problems increasing after every patch. A little example: the clan system has been missing since the start of the last year. Took 1 year to get the icon back. Yes just the icon. The system doesn't work after announcing it for more than 1 month. Just a little example. I have dumped quite a bit of money when it was worth it because it was enjoyable. Now i mostly play it to pass time. Yes. Just pass time.

TL/DR: Play it! If you're looking for a MOBA that's NOT League of Legends, then try it out.

I got tired of League and wanted to shoot myself. But I hopped on SMITE with my friends and i wanted to shoot myself a little less. I only play Joust because in my opinion it is the best game mode. You just throw hands at the other team, no need to farm or worry about what other lanes are doing. The other game modes aren't THAT much appealing to me. Still, the game mechanics are intricate, the art style while it can be a little jarring to some, are still pretty cool, and there is a WIDE variety of champions or gods to play from.

If you like the Action aspect to all the MOBA games, give SMITE a try.

Smite's gameplay is a nice departure from the typical MOBA loop. Emphasis on movement and skillshots as opposed to positioning and other important aspects you might find in DOTA or League means that it's more accessible for those used to faster-paced games. It's also the first MOBA in which I was able to actually enjoy playing a support, which is a major plus.

I`m playing this game since 2012 , at the begin i saw a big oportunitty in this game, since i did love mytology and i really loved the moba kind of games, but with the time went i saw how poor the game is being managed and how every new release implicated more bugs as expected, but that wouldn`t be a problem, every game does have issues, on some patched, but i just feel this company dosen`t put enought time in fixing them e.x (clan chat who was promised to be fixed in 2 weeks still not being fixed to this day) the morigan crash while ulting and many other combinations of some ults geting it broken, even the exploit of blue buff in 3v3 joust a few years ago, they really take alot of time to fix some bugs like ALOT of time, their marketing sucks . I understand is a F2p game and the only way of earning money is buy selling skins etc. But don`t make some skins put advatages in the gameplay this is just simply not fair in high level gameplay, the matchmaking... that`s another story it was always bad , honest opinion best matchmakin system was after release since then , i have no words to explain it right now :) The few maps we have and the way they like to put some players in trouble since they focus the main balance over CONQUEST , as being the only esport map is just in my opinion wrong, i woldn`t ruin others game by buffing so hard some gods that they must be banned in every game mode, and when you can`t ban it in a casual game it just ruin all the fun for other participants. As one other minus for this game would be the Toxicness and the bad way of how they handle the report of this, they are not taking actions like they should, they are not implicated pretty much in helping the community streamers grow in my opinion they just kill them with how easily you can snipe a streamer even with delay etc:) Idk what else shall i bring to this but at a end i will just say this was my favorite game for years but by year passing it just started to disgust me in every way possible. I suppose smite will be one of the biggest dissapoitments that i had regards of an game , they manage the games prettly bad and we have the true example of how they manage the games via their last failed games:) Hope this will give a heads up for follow gamers who want to try this game, you should try it but don`t have to much expectations, server stability sucks in general so you will see it probably yourself. I will still play this game from time to time but not as i used to do it and actually enjoy it before.

First of all, this game has nothing wrong with it. It is perfectly well made, with no bugs, no server issues, no balancing problems, no queue difficulties, nothing of that nature. This game was made by God himself, hence the theme, and it is reflected by the absolutely perfect gameplay. Leaving a game due to poor connection has never been easier, not to mention the fantastic things that happen once you finally manage to get into a game after several disconnects from people in your lobby, or the mechanic where you have to wait through an 8 minute queue for your favorite game mode. In the game you'll find many characters (gods) that are so over the top broken that they cannot possibly be stopped by any legal means necessary. You will find yourself dying over and over again while your teammates watch and chew their popcorn while calling you a terrible player. Whether it is you playing the tank and having no one follow your lead, or your glass cannon charging in head first and dying only to then hear that it is your fault that they died in a 1v5 fight. These features make the game extremely satisfying to play, and my 1300+ hours show how I keep coming back like an abused housewife. I do not recommend this game because it will consume your soul, steal your girlfriend, take all of your money, all the while pretending like it's normal to pay $100 for a skin that makes your attacks basically invisible. This may sound like a bad review, but I do actually enjoy the game, it has just ruined me as a human being. Only buy this if you are looking to break several keyboards and monitors, and then be bullied for playing a free to play game. 8/10, should cost $100 to buy the game right away instead of being free to play. Also remove Aegis. Please.

Fun and enjoyable, specially if you like mythology. Unfortunally over the years HiRez seems to be slowly killing it by trying to squeeze more and more money out of players with cosmetics, but if you don't care about it it's a great way to spend your time :)

(ranked is still horrible and needs to be fixed)

This game is cursed I have been playing this on the hirez launcher for years and it's honestly not that good but I'm too invested and I have sadly spent way too much on this to not play

TL:DR

play with friends or get discord & make friends to play it with as a beginner. Makes it ever so much more enjoyable when you can succeed and fail with friends. Youtube & smite build guides are you friend

Easy guide to if you'd like smite:

1. Do you have friends to start the game with?
If no, move to the second scenario.
If yes then:
1a. Are you all willing to face a steep learning curve together?
If no, maybe consider the second scenario.
If yes, then:
1b. Are you okay with the fact the community can be a mixed bag of toxic, trolls and memers?
If no, then probably don't bother playing this or games like this
If yes then smite is probably alright for you

2. Do you have discord?
If no: get it and join some servers with people who play it.
If yes: then join some servers with people who play it
2a. Once you've joined, is there anyone that has a good game knowledge who can teach you?
If no: well keep looking around because it makes it way more enjoyable
If yes: try and learn what you can from them & watch youtuber videos on all the game modes

For anyone wondering, my hours here are not representative. I played the earlier seasons (1-3) for a while too on Xbox one. Only just returning now as I have people to play it with once again

played for 5 years i've finally had enough game is just full of trolls who intentionally feed and the report system doesn't work they do not play their assigned roles they just play whatever they want its ruined the game for sadly but ive had enough.
