Planet Arcade is an adventure game in the style of a retro RPG.? It's a love letter to classic PC adventure games, minus the punishing obscurity, plus cuteness.? In place of traditional battles, key plot points are advanced through light-hearted (and often pointless) minigames, some of which are stylistic tributes to classic arcade games, some of which are essentially fever dreams.? As a game that breaks a lot of rules, genre and otherwise, it pretty much has to be played to be understood.
If you get all worked up about mega-blockbuster titles with AAA graphics that are loaded with micro-transactions and can only be played on space-age, top-of-the-line machinery,
