Diception is a minimalist territory-conquest game designed for pure velocity. Whether you?re here for a quick 60-second skirmish or a deep dive into probability, Diception delivers.

The Goal: Global Dominance

Your mission is simple: Capture every tile on the board.

  • Attack: Select your territory and an adjacent enemy tile. Your dice stack rolls against theirs.

  • Reinforce: At the end of your turn, you receive new dice based on the size of your biggest connected tile area.

  • The Challenge: The AI is ruthless and fast. You'll need to balance aggressive expansion with defensive stacking to prevent being cut off and losing your supply lines.

Key Features:

  • 3 Speed Modes: Choose your pace. Use "Beginner" to see the math behind the rolls, or "Expert" for near-instant AI turns and zero-latency animations.

  • Beyond the 6: Why settle for six sides? Battle across the board with everything from 1- to 16-sided dice.

  • The Campaign: Master handcrafted scenarios. Learn how to handle "bad luck" and replay levels instantly to perfected your tactical approach.

  • Built for Speed:?Mouse, Keyboard and Gamepad support. Blitz through territories with the D-Pad or WASD. 4 taps = 4 conquered countries. It's that fast.

  • Probability Tools: Don't just guess. Diception shows you the win-chance for every move, turning "luck" into a calculated risk.

  • Local Multiplayer for up to 8 Players: Gather your friends for a classic "Couch-Conquest." With support for up to 8 players on a single machine, it?s the ultimate digital board game night.

Open Source & Community

Diception is a passion project built on transparency. I believe that game logic should be open for everyone to study. That?s why the core engine of Diception is Open Source. You can check out the code, see how the probability engine works, or even contribute.
