Every run begins with a nearly defenseless test subject.
As you absorb infected samples, your body begins to change.
Your arms can grow bone blades, spike cannons, or heavy flesh hammers.
Your torso can release spores, toxic mist, or parasitic nests.
Your head can mutate into split vision, neural arcs, or infected retinas.
Your legs can evolve into sprinting, leaping, hunting, and crushing organs.
You are not building an equipment loadout.
You are assembling an unstable lifeform.
Every Mutation Changes How You Fight
Builds in VOX Zero are not just stat upgrades.
Different body mutations directly change your attacks, movement rhythm, survival tools, and control over the battlefield.
Become a close-range butcher that dives into enemy swarms.
Turn into an infection core that spreads poison, spores, and decay.
Or rely on parasites, summoned creatures, and chain reactions to let the battlefield consume enemies before they ever reach you.

Escape the Horde in a 3D Voxel Arena
This is not a flat arena.
Enemies surround you from every direction.
You will need to sprint, jump, use elevation, dodge around obstacles, and choose your route carefully as the horde closes in.
Stand in the wrong place, and the infected will trap you.
Dash too early, and you may lose your only escape.
Jumping onto higher ground does not always mean safety.

Evolution Does Not Stop
Basic mutations are only the beginning.
As your organs grow stronger, they unlock more dangerous evolution paths.
Different organs can also interact with each other, creating stronger, wilder, and more uncontrollable super mutations.
At first, you only want to survive.
Later, you begin to ask yourself:
Will this run become a blade-covered butcher?
A spore-spreading hive?
A lightning-infected organism?
Or an abnormal lifeform that even the laboratory can no longer contain?
The Laboratory Will Try to Reclaim You
The experiment will not last forever.
When time runs out, the reclaim protocol begins.
Cold, mechanical recovery units will enter the test zone and eliminate every unstable sample.
They do not care what you have become.
They only exist to reclaim you.
So you must become strong enough before that happens.
Or become so strong that the reclaim protocol itself fails.
