LEGACY ACCOUNT PURCHASES
We were having issues between people who had legacy Alganon accounts (username+password) logging in with their Steam account, then not seeing their purchased items, including the DLC.
So we made some changes as follows:
- Alganon legacy account users can buy items, including the DLC, from the Tribute market.
- Steam users can buy items from the Tribute Market, but can only buy the DLC through Steam.
ALGANON GAME CLIENT
The standalone Alganon client launcher has now been discontinued and should no longer be used. The game should only be launched (alganon.exe) through Steam as that will be only supported version going forward. We will no longer be releasing stand-alone patches outside of Steam.
ACCOUNT LOGIN RULES
- If you have an Alganon account, continue using that on Steam
- If you do NOT have an Alganon account, you should use your Steam account
- If you have a pre-existing Alganon account and you login with your Steam account, you will NOT have access to your Alganon account, characters etc, because the Alganon and Steam account details are different and we have no way to transfer an existing Alganon account to a Steam account.
