Ensuring a fair and secure gaming environment is one of our core commitments to all Arena Breakout: Infinite players. That commitment is supported by a robust anti-cheat system: ACE (Anti-Cheat Expert).
Here's a quick FAQ to help you better understand ACE and how it works in Arena Breakout: Infinite.
FAQ
Q: Why does Arena Breakout: Infinite use ACE?
Arena Breakout: Infinite is an immersive tactical extraction shooter where every raid is a fight to survive, or lose it all. That's why fairness matters in every encounter.
We chose ACE because it's a proven anti-cheat solution that has been successfully deployed in other titles, offering powerful detection and enforcement capabilities.
Over the past year of Early Access, ACE has demonstrated reliable performance and earned the trust of many players. Since the start of EA, we've rolled out 4,516 anti-cheat updates, successfully detected and blocked 293 cheat tools, and banned 408,133 cheating accounts, significantly reducing in-game cheating behavior and helping us maintain a fair environment.
This is why we're confident in continuing with ACE for the full release.
Q: Why is ACE a kernel-level anti-cheat?
Like many industry-standard solutions, ACE runs at the kernel level to detect and block advanced cheats that operate at the same system layer. This includes common high-level threats such as VT-based evasion and DMA attacks.
ACE does not read or retain any data unrelated to the game's anti-cheat functionality.
Q: Will ACE be installed automatically? Is it removed when I uninstall Arena Breakout: Infinite?
Yes. ACE is automatically installed alongside the game to help protect your environment. When you uninstall Arena Breakout: Infinite, ACE is also fully removed, leaving no residual files or background processes.
FYI: If your device has other games installed that also use ACE, the system will remain only to support those games.
Q: Can ACE conflict with other kernel-level anti-cheat software?
Yes. Kernel-level anti-cheat solutions like EAC or Vanguard may detect each other as potential conflicts, since they cannot mutually verify access.
To avoid interference:
- When playing Arena Breakout: Infinite, we recommend closing any other anti-cheat software.
- When playing other games, you may want to close ACE.
Q: Does ACE collect my personal data? Should I be concerned about privacy?
ACE only collects data strictly necessary to carry out its anti-cheat functions within Arena Breakout: Infinite. All data is encrypted during handling and transmission, and no personal files, messages, or unrelated information are accessed.
All data processing is conducted through data centers located in Singapore, and complies with relevant legal and auditing standards.
