This week the 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R invites Horizon Festival drivers to experience the final evolution of the Starion breed and the last rear-wheel drive turbocharged Mitsubishi to date. With iconic 80s styling, four-wheel independent suspension, and a massive 2.6-liter “Astron” engine, the 180-horsepower Starion gave all its contemporaries a run for their money and won the intense Paris-Dakar rally’s experimental class back in 1983.
