Hello, fellow gardeners! ???? If you've been waiting for a chance to play Garden Life, this is the time to get your shovels and your green thumbs ready! This Thursday, you can dive into our brand new Garden Life Demo. And to make things even more exciting, we're hosting a screenshot contest for everyone playing! It's easy to join! Read our rules below on how to participate! Share your creations with us and you'll have the chance to win your very own a copy of Garden Life and a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a local florist! ???? HOW TO USE THE IN-GAME PHOTO MODE

5 winners will be selected by a jury of members of the Garden Life team:

All winners will receive a digital Steam key of Garden Life when the game fully releases

[*] Contest eligibility: The Garden Life Screenshot Contest is open to every Steam user who downloaded and played the demo of the video game Garden Life. The Screenshot Contest is open worldwide and is void where prohibited by law. Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of Nacon (the "Sponsor") and stillalive studios, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Screenshot Contest. The Screenshot Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. [*] Agreement to Rules: By entering the Design Contest, the contestant ("You") agrees to comply with and abide by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the Sponsor's decisions as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest. Entrants should look solely to the Sponsor with any questions, comments or issues related to the Screenshot Contest. [*] Entry Period: The Screenshot Contest begins on October 5, 2023 and ends at on October 16, 2023 (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. [*] How to Enter: The Screenshot Contest must be entered by submitting an entry through either of the following ways:

Posting your screenshot in a dedicated post on your public account on the social media X (formerly known as Twitter) with the hashtag [b]#GardenLifeDemo[/b]
Posting your screenshot in a dedicated post on your public account on the social media Instagram with the hashtag [b]#GardenLifeDemo [/b]

The entry must fulfil all requirements of the Screenshot Contest, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications of the Screenshot Contest may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple accounts, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules of the Screenshot Contest, your submission may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. [*] Rules for Submissions: A submission to the Screenshot Contest consist of 1 screenshot of the garden you created in the Garden Life’s demo and took a capture of using the in-game Photo Mode. Submission must not have been edited using any software, save for cropping and rotating. Submissions must not contain any sensitive, discriminatory, sexual, or offensive content in any other way. Entrants must ensure that submissions do not infringe any copyrights or other intellectual property rights. All submissions will be reviewed by the Sponsor before being published. Failure to comply with the rules will result in the submission being rejected by the Sponsor at their sole discretion. [*] Cheating: It is forbidden to copy, plagiarize or duplicate an existing submission. It is forbidden to exploit or circumvent any issue with the submission system to gain an advantage. The Sponsor can choose to cancel the Screenshot Contest in case a rule violation. [*] Prizes: The 5 winners of the Screenshot Contest (the "Winners") will receive the following prizes: a. The Winners will be contacted by the Sponsor after the fulll release of Garden Life on Steam to receive a Steam digital key of Garden Life. The channel of communication will be a private message on the platform the Winners used for their entry (Discord, X, or Instagram). b. If they meet the conditions, the Winners will be contacted by the Sponsor after the announcement of the Screenshot Contest’s results to arrange shipment of a flower bouquet with monetary value below or equal to 50€, shipment fee included, or below or equal to an equivalent value in other currencies according to the exchange rates at the time of the purchase, shipment fee included. The channel of communication will be a private message on the platform the Winners used for their entry (Discord, X, or Instagram). Receipt of the flower bouquet prize offered in this Screenshot Contest is conditioned to: i. The presence of a flower shop in a 20 kilometers radius to the delivery address communicated by the Winners ii. The ability for the Sponsor to easily and securely purchase and pay online a flower bouquet through the official website of said flower shop. The website must be available in English, German, or French. If the two above qualifications are not met, the winner will not be eligible to receive the flower bouquet prize, and the Sponsor will only send them the Steam digital key of Garden Life as described in section 9.a. of these rules. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except for at the Sponsor’s discretion. Aditionnally, if the winner is eligible but fails to get the shipment at the date and time of delivery they agreed with the Sponsor, it shall be the sole responsibility of the winner to arrange a new date and time of delivery with the flower shop and pay any expenses related to said new delivery. [*] The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except for at the Sponsor's discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent of the prize by the Winner is not permitted. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. [*] Winner selection: The selection of the winners is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. [*] Winner Selection and Notification: The screenshots submissions will be discussed between stillalive studios and Nacon. The criteria for selecting the winners are subjective and at the sole discretion of the Sponsor (beauty, creativity, viewing angle, etc.) There is no obligation to disclose the content of the deliberations. The Winners will be notified within 7 days of the winners’ selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed form with their shipment informations as required, the prize may be forfeited. Receipt of the prize offered in this Screenshot Contest by the Winners is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by the Winner at the Sponsor's sole discretion will result in the Winner's disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated. [*] Rights Granted by the Entrant: By entering this contest, you understand and agree that the Sponsor and anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor or its respective licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry and your user name on Steam and on the platform you used when submitting your screenshot (Discord, X, or Instagram) for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this content, you represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nacon from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Nacon may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right. [*] Personal Data: Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of carrying out the Contest in which you participate, in particular for the purpose of announcing results, communicating with the contestants and providing the Winners with Prizes. In such cases, the Sponsor may select a winner(s) from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by the Sponsor if appropriate. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Screenshot Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. The Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Screenshot Contest, to void entries for any reason. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Screenshot Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. [*] Limitation of Liability: By entering the Screenshot Contest you agree to release and hold harmless Nacon and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Screenshot Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the Screenshot Contest; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Screenshot Contest or the processing of entries; (iv) technical errors of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (v) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (vi) printing errors; (vii) lost, late, postage due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail.
