We’ve been working hard on Hackhub and we’re excited to share the latest progress with you. This update brings massive improvements to performance, stability, and gameplay depth. Let’s dive into what’s new:

Old [b]programs system[/b] has been removed.
A brand new, [b]high-performance Surfaces system[/b] has been implemented. All programs now run on this new system for smoother gameplay.
[b]Terminal commands have been refactored[/b] for better reliability.
[b]Node command & in-game scripting[/b] got major improvements, making scripting more stable and powerful.
[b]Python3 command updated[/b], with reworked scripts and brand new Python scripts added.
[b]New terminal commands[/b] have been introduced.
[b]Grep command[/b] has been added.
[b]Dig command[/b] has been added.
[b]MXLookup command added[/b] → DNS lookup queries can now be performed.

[b]Metasploit has been reworked[/b] with several improvements.
[b]Web browser system redesigned[/b] for a better user experience.
[b]New websites[/b] have been added to explore, including a [b]GitHub website[/b].
[b]Pip package manager[/b] is now available for script management.
[b]NTLM systems and hacking methods[/b] have been introduced.
[b]Wireshark added[/b] → monitor data sharing between IPs.
[b]System configs[/b] added → devices now behave according to their configuration settings.
[b]Subfinder added[/b] → discover subdomains for pentesting.
[b]Nuclei added[/b] → vulnerability scanning for pentesting. [i](These tools are implemented similarly to their real-life pentesting counterparts.)[/i]
????️ Terminal Upgrades
You can now [b]stop running commands[/b] in the terminal with Ctrl + C.
[list]If text is selected → it copies to clipboard.
If no text is selected → it cancels the currently running process (for example, an unfinished lynx query).

[b]The Journalist Sister mission series has been added.[/b]
New [b]side missions[/b] have been added to expand your hacking journey.
⚡ Performance
Optimized [b]game loading system[/b] – some packages are now preloaded during the loading screen for faster runtime performance.
???? Multiplayer Foundations
The very first steps of [b]multiplayer[/b] have been implemented.
Currently, only a [b]European server[/b] is live.
[b]Account Center system[/b] has been introduced:

Access online services if authorized.
???? Git System in Hackhub
A full [b]Git system[/b] has been added!
Share your scripts with other players using real Git commands:

Keep your repos [b]public[/b] to share, or [b]private[/b] to store your scripts securely.

[b]Network system designed from scratch[/b] – every IP address now represents a real device connected to a network.
[b]Modem interface system[/b] added:
[list]View existing ports.
Configure [b]port forwarding[/b].
[b]Firewall system[/b] implemented:
Add or remove rules.
Even if a port is open, connections will fail if blocked by firewall rules.
To gain access, you’ll also need to hack into and modify firewall settings.

[b]Main menu layout redesigned[/b] for a cleaner look.

This update lays down the foundation for the future of Hackhub. Multiplayer and online systems are just getting started, and the new networking layer brings a whole new level of realism. We can’t wait to see how you’ll explore, exploit, and secure these systems.
