Home! We are finally coming home! The Soviet high command has signed a peace treaty with the United States and a cease-fire with the German contingency. The Americans have been kind to us, they leased some of their armored personnel carriers to us so we can pull back from the front-lines. So far our retreat from the front-line has been smooth, both sides seem to hold to their end of the deal. With the speed we are going, I might be back home in just a few weeks. I might be home before this letter even arrives. I cannot wait to drink with you soon and tell you all that I have witnessed! I wonder though, will the treaties last?
