Playstyle
Unlike the other Mahokenshi, Kaito prefers being surrounded by his opponents. Although he has multiple deck archetypes and synergies, most of them revolve around stacking defense.Spikes
The best offense is a good defense. Kaito can stack Spikes, icy thorns that hurt enemy attackers, even from afar!
Charge
Kaito does not dash like other Mahokenshi. Instead, his primary movement option is to Charge towards his opponent. A Charge will allow Kaito to take the shortest possible path to his enemy, even dashing across water.
First Strike / Prepared
Some of Kaito's cards will have First Strike and Prepared effects. These cards will have different effects depending on when you play them within your turn, forcing you to think carefully about the order in which you play them.
Provoke
Charging isn't the only way to get close to enemies. With his Provoke cards, Kaito can force enemies to move into striking distance.
