This is why we had to make an initially tough decision, which felt better and better as it all sank in. [/p][p]We chose to make Deep Fog Signals: a smaller, more focused title we can actually produce and release on a more limited budget, allowing us to also explore the world of the Cauldron - the vast crater rich in resources and boiling over with oppressive and inexplicable fog - from another, yet equally fascinating angle. We really hope you’ll be as intrigued by it as we are![/p][p]Deep Fog Signals is a short atmospheric horror puzzle adventure and a standalone, indirect prequel to Misgiven. Unlike it, it is set not in the city of Koriol, but deep in the uncharted depths of the crater. You can expect the same lovingly hand-crafted art style, deep lore and branching story, but a darker tone and more puzzly mechanics.[/p][p]Settle into the claustrophobic comms room of a remote research outpost and make do with severely limited bandwidth in a disastrous storm that leaves you and your crew stranded. Find out what’s behind the giant exoskeleton you are researching.
