Menschen- gegen Alien-Waffen:
Als Mitglied des Fireteams steht dir ein hochmodernes Arsenal zur Verfügung, von Pistolen über Sturmgewehre und Schrotflinten bis hin zu Granaten und schweren Waffen.** Jage als Predator mit tödlicher Alien-Technologie wie dem schultermontierten Plasmawerfer, dem Combistick, der Smart-Disc, Handgelenksklingen und mehr.

Dschungelkrieg:
Kämpfe dich durch tückische, dicht mit ausladenden Bäumen und wucherndem Unterholz bewachsene Konfliktzonen Südamerikas. Zwischen schützenden Hütten am Flussufer sind die Guerillasoldaten sind gut getarnt. Ob sich das Fireteam als Einheit fortbewegt oder sich aufteilt, um das Ziel zu erreichen - vielseitige Umgebungen unterstützen jede der möglichen Taktiken. Jaaaaaa aber irgendwie schwierig.

Es macht Spaß aber halt eher wenn man nicht im Wartebildschirm rum hängt was oft der Fall ist.
Es ist wieder eines dieser Spiele das einen dafür Belohnt das zu spielen was man vielleicht gar nicht will und ändert damit gar nichts am Problem... Jeder will den Predator spielen und das sorgt für zu lange Wartezeiten was keinen wirklichen bock macht wenn man mal allein ein bisschen was fetzen will .Meine Mates waren jetzt auch nicht das wahre und immer mit dafür verantwortlich das alle getötet wurden. Somit sollte man mit einem Presquad unterwegs sein wenn möglich um ein gutes Spielerlebnis raus zu holen .Nebenbei ich habe das Spiel auch schon auf der Playstation gespielt und dank dummen Crossplay was anscheinend mit Epic games verbunden ist (deswegen auch der daumen runter) bekomme ich eh fast nur Mates aus dem PS Game von daher find ich das fair

Ein richtig gutes Multiplayer - Spiel im Predator - Universum. Die Aufmachung erinnert stark an den Original-Film mit Arnold Schwarzenegger. Man muß mit einer 4-köpfigen Söldner Truppe eine Mission gegen NPCs erfüllen. Der 5. Spieler übernimmt die Rolle des Predator Jägers. Die Ziele sind klar. Als Kampftruppe muss man die jeweiligen Aufgaben erfüllen und danach mit dem Hubschrauber entkommen. Als Predator alle anderen Spieler vor Abschluss der Mission ausschalten und Trophäen sammeln.

Es gibt massig Karten mit unterschiedlichen Missionen. Sogar mit unterschiedlichen Aufgaben innerhalb der selben Karte. Zu spielende Soldaten-Klassen sind: Späher, Aufklärer, Sturmsoldat, Unterstützer oder O.W.L.F - Agent. Alle haben ihre jeweiligen Vorteile und Spezialisierungen. Man hat die Möglichkeit verschiedene Fertigkeiten auszurüsten und miteinander zu kombinieren. Natürlich auch die Bewaffnung, welche man sich nach und nach freischaltet.

Die Optik ist in dem Spiel genauso gut gelungen wie die Soundeffekte und Musik. Außerdem gibt es noch diverse käufliche DLCs. Darunter auch Arnie, sogar mit seiner Originalstimme (get to the choooppaaaaa) Episch :-) Es gibt auch Isabelle (aus Predators von 2010) und verschiedene neue Predator - Klassen.

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht alle komplett nachvollziehen. Sicher, der Predator scheint übermächtig mit seinen ganzen Spezialfertigkeiten und Waffen. Aber als Team mit der richtigen Taktik kann man so ziemlich jede Mission meistern. Als Einzelkämpfer hat man wenig Chancen. Die Ausrüstung kann auch entscheidend sein. Sowie das jeweilige Level des Spielers und seiner Erfahrung oder Übung.

Es gibt die Möglichkeit zum Üben und Kennenlernen der Karte, solo gegen Bots. Mit dem Predator bietet sich das an. Um alle Kniffe herauszufinden. Man levelt auch im Solomodus. Natürlich gibt es da weniger XP.

Leider so gemacht, dass der Predator ohne Konsequenzen auf dem Baum sitzen und Attilerie spielen kann und dadurch gewinnt.
Nerviger ist aber das Ballancing, dass das unterstützt, da man zu Predatoren mit Fallen, Boden, etc kommt und das Spiel einem nie sagt, was man machen muss, wenn man in eine Falle gelaufen ist, da es NUR ein Predator Tutorial gibt.
Man kann zudem die Steuerung auf keine anderen Tasten legen und auch nicht sehen was auf welcher Taste liegt.
Kurzum: Ein schlecht gebalanctes, schlecht gematchmaktes und schlecht Organisiertes Spiel, bei dem die PC Plattform VIEL zu kurz kommt dass einem viel zu selten Spaß macht, außer man mag die Predator Filme oder solche Spiele, da es sehr schnell Eintönig wird.

Ich hab das Spiel echt lieb gewonnen aber leider ist der Multiplayer mit Random's ein Trauerspiel .... Es ist immer eine 50% - 50% Chance Menschen ins Team zu bekommen die sich nicht Bot's verhalten und Egoistisch durch den Jungle laufen ohne auf Ihre Mitspieler zu achten die vom Predator angegriffen werden. Zu empfehlen ist es mit einer Stammgruppe zu spielen so erspart man sich viel Frust und Ärger!!! Es gibt noch eine Sache die ich dem Spiel hoch anrechne, wenn man 1x Leute gemutet hat die einen mit irgendwelche Geräuschen nerven bleiben die das auch für immer bzw. solange bis man sich entschließt sie wieder zu entmuten. Leider sind die Report Optionen dafür komplett minderwertig, man kann nur eintragen mit vorgegeben Wörtern warum man jemanden reporten will aber genau erklaren warum und wieso und ''wie viele'' kann man nicht!!!

Außer den oben genannten Kritikpunkt macht das Spiel echt viel Spaß, ich habe mir die Predator: Hunting Grounds - Predator Bundle Edition gekauft für den Vollpreis von 50€ und bin relativ zufrieden.

Ich war schon immer ein Predator-Fan daher ist das Spiel ein muss für mich.
Ansonsten gibt es viel bessere Spiele dieser Art.
Aber ich mag das Jungelflair und den großartigen Soundtrack.
Die Grafik ist gut.
Sowohl als Feuerteam und auch als Predator macht mir das Spiel Spaß.
Allerdings sind die KI-Soldaten unterirdisch.
Weiter verstehe ich nicht waum es kein Singelplayer-Modus für Predator gibt um vor allem Offline Üben zu können.Ich hoffe da tut sich noch was.
Für Fans sicherlich ein gutes Spiel.

Update:
Der Predator ist OP wenn er nur seine Energiewaffen einsetzt, daher Kids versucht es auch mal ohne...das würde alle ein wenig mehr Spielspaß bereiten

zum Glück gibt es XP für das warten in der Lobby beim Matchmaking, sonst würd ich im Level garnicht aufsteigen !

I'm honestly shocked at these reviews saying people are having framerate issues on high-end PCs.
I literally have a Nitro i5 which isn't even that great of a gaming laptop, and I play this game pretty much flawlessly. I've even crossplayed with friends on playstation and we never had any issues. I will mention however the chat seems a bit buggy at times, but it isn't a huge deal.

I'm just happy they're still releasing content and updates, as the online community is still going fairly strong and the gameplay is quite unique.

I first got this game expecting to be the predator every time, but you quickly start to enjoy playing as the fireteam and taking down predators. Its really fun. Especially getting to play as Arnold.

Incredibly unbalanced towards Pred. No way to win if the fire team groups up. You don't really feel like a powerful predator and the entire game play is ruined when a fire team can eliminate you in less than 5 minutes.

Just like DbD the developers don't seem to know how to balance a 1v4 game and likely are playing fire team themselves.

This game is good, if only devs supported it.

Game has been around for about a year, but it feels like it was released a few month ago. There are a lot of bugs, luckily they are mostly visual(some of them are in my profile), but some are game breaking, like objective didn't spawn at all or secondary mission(that gives you more xp) is underground.

Game is mostly predator based, not fireteam. For example, if predator didn't afk and did something in the game, he will get more xp than you, always. Not even perks, that give you more xp, plus xp bonus for playing as fireteam helps. If you completed the mission and killed the hunter, predator will get more xp. To win as fireteam you need to complete mission, but securing predators body is just a bonus. If you kill predator(which is not easy), but don't defuse the bomb - you lose. If you kill the predator at the start of the game and defuse the bomb - you lose, because predator will get more xp and even more if someone dies to a huge blast radius.

Game can be quickly finished if hunter decides so, with out getting penalties. If hunter downs one of the humans he can finish him off instantly, suffering to small to no drawbacks for that. Do it 4 times and game is finished. Predator gets tons of xp and you almost nothing. There is no punishment for hunter if they don't hunt, what is the name of the game.

Cross platforming. The name says everything. 90% of the game will be with playstation players. If you play as human and hunter is PC player - you will lose, unless he is afk. Most of the time one of the players are afk and will be replaced with a bot, which is better than console player. Luckily, console players mostly obey orders, which gives you chances, but sometimes it's 1v1 against hunter. I haven't tried to turn off cross platforming, because the queue waiting time will be longer and I want to play and not wait.

Small amount of maps and mission. Will get repetitive quickly. Day time, night time. Go there, kill, grab, go there.No more to say.

Shit lobbies. No way to add friends. You can only mute or report a player, that's it.

You can't contact the game support. I tried, only thing I found was playstation website and forum. I registered on forum, but I couldn't post anything, because I was a new profiles and new profiles can't do shit there.

DLC's that add only skins. And maybe a better characters. I ahve only one - original Dutch. I am a fan on the first film.

That's pretty sums up the game. I had 20 hours, when I wrote this review.

This is a tough one.

Pros:
-PC/PS4 crossplay works.
-The Predator is reasonably well implemented and fun to play as, better than in just about any other game in the universe I've played.
-You can play it single player.
-Single player allows earning XP and progress and unlocks.
-The visuals and sounds are good.
-Rounds are constrained to 15 minutes, so it can be good for people who don't have a lot of time to play, and the time limit forces players to keep moving toward completing objectives.
-Several maps to play on (game originally only launched with one, I read).

Cons:
-Crossplay is a major pain to set up.
-There are still a lot of bugs in the game, and new bugs are still being added.
-There is no AI Predator if you play solo as Fireteam, so it feels like a generic CoD knock-off you might call Shout of Obligation.
-Pretty sure you can't play it offline, even in single player, because your progress is saved on the server, though your loadouts are not preserved between platforms/machines.
-There are AI Fireteam bots if you play solo as the Predator but they stand in one spot the entire game.
-The other random AIs scattered around the levels are pretty stupid and way easier to kill than the Fireteam.

Still, as someone who doesn't want to deal with online toxicity, it's...okay. I play it with someone else in my household and we manage to have a good amount of fun taking turns as Fireteam/Predator, but the amount of bugs that still exist (and new ones are introduced periodically) is really frustrating. Like if you select DLC items as part of your loadout and another player doesn't have them, the game will reset your loadout to a couple of basic items when the match starts rather than warn you ahead of time there might be a problem/conflict. Enemies will clip through objects like a vehicle or wall and get stuck inside, making them difficult or impossible to kill. The rewards are all cosmetic stuff designed to maintain the grind and people buying lootboxes, which don't interest me at all. You can unlock most things with gameplay, but it's going to take a really long time.

All in all, it's unpolished at best and a complete mess at worst, but despite that, playing with friends can be fun, there are some choice moments now and then, and detonating as a defeated Predator and wiping out the Fireteam is a blast, pun intended. If you dare to try it, get it on sale. For the vast majority of people though, I really don't recommend the game. I simply can't give a thumbs up to a game with so many glaring and mostly easily fixable problems that could make it great despite the handful of things it does really well. If they actually fix and polish the worst issues, I might change my opinion, but you often only get one chance to make a first impression, developers.

Fun game and much better than any reviews say about it when it launched, try to not compare it to big budget shooters and just enjoy it for what it is a 4v1 run and survive game also you get to feel like a complete killing machine when being a predator

While Predator: Hunting Grounds may not be the best or well balanced game, it still is a lot of fun. I've enjoyed playing on both sides, the Predator, and the Fire-team. I've enjoyed the Predator the most. It's fun hunting down your prey and giving them a really hard time. Sure, the humans can whittle down your health with relative ease, but that's simply because you are rushing in. Predator takes strategy to play effectively. How I find myself playing is that I use my ranged weapons, the Yautja bow is my weapon of choice, and shoot at the humans from a distance. I then go in, finish them off with my combi-stick, and take the trophy. I also play the Berserker class, which fits my individual play-style.

Hunting Grounds isn't without it's flaws though. The game has a bit of a long wait time for matches, especially for the Predator side, but, it's not a big deal, at least for me. Some games take a long time to load, and get some players in. Hunting Grounds also has it's fair share of bugs and glitches. My Predator has found herself trying to jump onto a Predkour tree and instead of jumping on the tree, she'll spasm and rapidly turn from side to side, and fall down to the ground. Fire-team members have fallen into the ground, unable to be claimed. Lag spikes also pop up a bit here and there. The Predator also is underpowered. I feel that the health pool depletes way too fast. If there could be maybe a fix, where the Predator has either more base health, or can take more hits, i.e., give the guns less damage, that'd be great! Texture popping is also an issue, but it's not so big that I am physically unable to play.

Overall, my experience in the Hunting Grounds is relatively positive. I've met some nice people, and had some great matches. I feel that the game is a bit unfinished, if it could be reworked, polished and refined more, then it'd be an even more amazing game!

One of the top best Predator games out there, a must buy for all Yautja lovers! I waited so long to buy this because of all the hate, but I thought I should give it a try and now I play it everyday.

The multiplayer is not dead at all, especially in the weekends there is a decent amount of players. It is also cross platform now. But yeah, there is waiting time when you want to macthmake as Predator, but while you wait for a match just look through the customisation and loadouts. You can even tab out while you wait.

There is a good variety of lore in this game, and also a lot of variety of ways to win. A decent amount of game mechanics so you can be very tactical as a Fireteam or as Yautja.

got this game on sale not to bad on the most part. playing as the fire team is fun, but sadly the predator is glitchy as fuck. learn to not use the trees. running on the branches seems to constantly leads to me getting caught falling though said branch. Really shitty if in a fire team v predator match pretty much leading to instant lose. on the other hand the clash mode is really fun. its constant king of the hill style action. i have not experienced the same glitch there but even if i did at the very worst your team can kill you and you can respawn. Not saying that is a good thing just working with what i got.

The game is really fun to play...but people rarely play as a team. Seems like every FPS is treated like COD in game and people think they're John Wick. The Fireteam needs to stick together to survive the Predator, yet you always have 1 or 2 people that run off. For a game that requires team work, it sucks that there is no in game chat or mic. Technically the option exists in the audio setting, but it never works. If you have a lot of people that could join your party in game, you will have fun. However, if you are going solo or with one other person, finding a good team is very hit and miss.

Its fun simple and to the point, with no gambling or micros, community is mellow and has good team work.
In other words a Game that truly honors the predator franchise. And its a decent price.

It's Hard to Not Recommend this game and refund it, as i think it is a decent game but i think it needs work

- There's no First Person Camera for the Predator. this kinda bugs me

- The Idea for the game is neat but it seems more like a Gamemode to me, 4 Human vs 1 predator, Humans do objectives while Predator hunts them and stops them, to make an entire game around this, it feels like it could be boring fast, I think there could be more content in the game such as a Story mode

- The Price is too high for the game and the content in the game even on sale for 17.49 it's too high. I think it should be 9

- The Finishers/ Stealth kills are the same animation everytime and dont feel very satisfying to use on people, Like Aliens vs predator 2010 The Cinematic Kills make me feel unstoppable and are exetremly rewarding to earn but here it's a simple animation that is a bit bad and unrealistic and could use some work

- The queue time to be a Predator guarenteed is too Long while its understandable that people buy this game to hunt prey as the predator and not be a classic human soldier it doesnt change the fact the queue times are longer

- When Humans stick in a group it's almost impossible to Kill them,

- Plasma is literally useless, I fully charged shot someone twice and a low charged shot once and they did not die? also you have to seperately equip plasma and wristblades, why not use both at the same time with a different attack button

- It is very hard to tell the difference between AI Humans and Human Players, there is no motivation for me to kill the AI humans, why should I kill them and help the enemy team and there's no reward for. in the Infrared vision, Humans AI and Human players are the exact same

Things I think are good about the Game

- Humans have good polish in their animations and it feels good to shoot and control them

- The Game Concept and Idea is really good

- It's fun to run around and stalk prey using infrared vision and cloak

I mean i think the game is like 5.5/10 rn and I have mixed feelings

Overall it just needs more content, lower price and more work and the stuff I mentioned above

So I bought this on a whim and didnt know what to expect cause so many people said this game was dead

I've only played 7.8 hours at the time of making this and I've reached level 36 and got into fireteam matches within 30 seconds to a minute

Predator matches take like 3 or 4 minutes

As for the game itself I'm not normally into shooters but I sorta more play this for the experience of shootin predators

If you like the movies you'll really love this game it's fantastic

If you are looking for a really good shooter I'd say just move on cause this game definitely has its flaws

But if you like games like DBD and Friday the 13th you might like this it has that similar formula of team of people trying to survive a powerful monster

except you can shoot that monster into dust really easily

I spent 2 hours a day for a week at work trying to teach myself to make the Predator clicking noises, so I could mess with the fireteam over voice chat.

This game is so unbalanced. Platform players (playstation ect) have a huge advantage over PC players. the predator player wins almost everytime im surprised anyone even chooses to play fireteam. definitely not worth the asking price like it is and pc players should stay far away from this one.

Bottom line for not recommended is because the predator is weak and at high level play fire team will win 100% of the time. The reasons are many but if the developers simply knew basic math they could have prevented half of the issues. To much power lies in the fire team or you could say the predator is to weak. You can't win a fight vs 4 fireteam EVER if its high level play.

Developers should fix the balance. A fireteam that is experienced and knows how to play can literally hunt the predator all game.

They have more DPS than the predator, they have 4 players vs 1 , if they die they can revive their team mates (the predator cannot revive its over), the fire team can find you so your cloaking ability is useless vs a good fire team. A lot of predator weapons have limited uses, your bear traps are few and the maps are big.... yet you cannot restock on bear traps and you also cannot simply pick up your used bear traps. I think allowing predators to pick them up after being used would be an improvement for the game because traps are easily spotted and destroyed as is by the fire team.

The fireteam have everything on their side. All they have to do as a fire team is follow some simple rules.
1. Stick together.
2. Spot predator for team
3, everyone engages predator at same time.

If you do this you should never lose as the fire team. Sure you will need to get good at any game. But ultimately you should win as the fireteam if you play good.

So when you get to high level play the predator is the one being hunted and the game is no longer fun.
(This is where I changed review to not recommended.)

Games fun but...

The online is dead and there's no story mode. It'd be nice if they at least put predator and fire team bots on private match because as it stands there aren't. That would hold us off until the next AVP game.

Game is perfectly progressing, but it lacks pre-order content, it's douchy that pre-orderers have special skins and masks than us who bought after. If you can bring pre-order content back such as original 87 Predator skin + armor + mask and old painless minigun as at least paid DLC, I would appreciate it truly.

This game needs a good review.

Basically you either bully humans or you bully a predator

The gunplay is decent and playing as a predator is based because you can do funny things
Bully the predator by magdumping it with an assault rifle and an SMG and feel satisfied as it uses its self destruct and then kills you because you fail to defuse it in time

Oh and you can play as Arnold Schwarzenegger

As per request I shall expand my review. Outside of DLC (that I personally seemed to unlock just by buying the game) there is a distinct lack of micro-transactions, a big bonus in my eyes. While there are lootboxes, they provide purely cosmetic features and are very easy to acquire, and everything you can get in a lootbox you can buy with in-game currency.

Matchmaking is set into two teams - Predator, and Fireteam, where you play as either the pred or the humans respectively. You get an EXP bonus for searching for both, and you can alternatively search for either one of the teams, meaning that you can pick what you want to play.

The server stability seems to be good and there are a variety of settings for PC players, however the game does have some performance issues at the highest settings (Epic & Cinematic,) my RTX 2060 struggles to run at a solid 60FPS at epic settings, however it has not affected my ability to play the game, and that is my preference of using high graphical settings. I haven't seen any issues with net-code.

As for replay value, you steadily unlock new weapons, items, and cosmetics all the way up to level 100+, levelling up is not too slow, but not too quick as to burn through everything you can acquire. The variety of perks, weapons, gears, and game play styles you can take offer a great deal of replay-ability.

This game is similar to Friday the 13th. I'm still learning the game but it's fun. I'm a big Alien and Predator fan.

This game is very fun, very dumb, and very self aware of both of those qualities. the same self awareness the original film has. i strongly recommend if on sale or if you liked Friday the 13th (which this game is superior too.)

This is the only game ammo is a problem in multiplayer, i hope they fix it, this commie predator melee needs a nerf little bit, giving jungle alien an Assault rifle or chain gun for a nerf is a good deal, making him more realistic villain. i hope they add a training for new recruit to stick together or get KIA like in the movies. im glad they add an option, be the alien or the fireteam, cause i will never play as predator.

brings me back to my childhood. Voice lines awesome, the little details where bushes are destroyed when you shoot into them. only thing is I wish I could sneak with the predator, game needs a little tuning seems one sided at time, people are still new. love the match making, was stuffed into a PS5 lobby as the predator, won the game in 90 seconds with no idea what I was doing

Stock key lay out sucks I don't know why devs are always changing the crouch button.
Predators shoulder cannon has a funny camera angle when you use it, like you can shoot behind a tree or shoot from cover. like a bullet bender.

awesome game. Hopefully its not forgotten about and continues to grow!

I feel like 30 dollars is a lot to ask for this game. I wouldn't recommend unless on a big sale. I'd say maybe 15$? My first match I spent like 5 minutes looking for a game, It doesn't help that some people had no patience so as they cycled out more cycled in and then out again. We killed the predator as well my first game, or rather I killed him dealing 3k damage and my team doing like 200 a pop. Just know his big beep means big boom.

As for the gun play it doesn't really feel all that good. A lot of people have compared it to mobile games which is meh. Though chasing down the predator kinda distracts you from the whole gun handling cause of the hit and runs or the big plasma flying at your face. The textures are a bit.. odd? The reason people ask about the mobile game I think is because the weapon handling feels clunky and the movement as a whole feels, weird, for a lack of a better word. When I was looking down for mud to cover myself in I couldn't help but think of warface and kind of how the guns look and feel similar to that game.

Next up are the random enemies, I get it they're supposed to throw some chaos into the mix but all they do is run right at you. I was figuring out how to pull out my knife and I ran into a room and the NPC looked at me and ran the other way while shouting. He just didn't do anything. The NPCs if buffed a little would probably be better because it would even out the focus on the Predator. Instead the NPCs don't really do much, it'd even be too much to call them obstacles or say they're in the way. They're more like, just there.

But I mean i do kinda wish steam had a neutral rating or a mixed rating. I do want to like this game but I just feel like 30$ is entirely too much to ask for, for a game like this. By all means buy this game and I hope you have fun if this is the kind of game you like. Though if you're kinda on the fence like I was I'd probably wait for a bigger sale and then hope some updates get rolled out soon. Lady predator do be hot tho.
