Hello! How are you? How did you start 2023? ????

I've been adding some new features to the game, but I also improved and fixed all kind of bugs based on your awesome feedback. Thank you for that! ????



To start, I implemented a special reward for those who unlock all the Steam achievements: as you can see in the GIF above, you will be able to choose your favourite skin for the menus and Tony during the title screen. Once again, the illustrations were made by the great Viktor Ahmed ????


Volume sound check



In terms of gameplay, I added a new sound check: THE VOLUME ????

During this transitions, everything goes dark and grey. Music goes down and you can only hear the rhythm kicking in the background.



As happens with the other sound checks (high and low pitches), this new one is triggered randomly and intercalated with the other two.


Items and more!



I also improved the visuals for the items in general:




And recreated entirely the Audio assets so they can be more recognizable:




I added another 22 languages to the game and also did a lot more changes, you can check the full list at the bottom of this post ????


World ranking



To close up, here's the official best scores from version 1.0:



I have just reset the leaderboards since this new update comes with gameplay changes, so the difficulty has been affected as well.


What's next?



With this update here I want to wrap up Out of Bounds, or at least for now ????

NEW FEATURES
  • Volume Check at the Audio room (randomized together with the other Low and High Pitch Checks
  • Menu skins as a reward after unlocking all achievements: Dark, Golden, Retro and RGB
  • 22 new languages: Amharic, Assamese, Bangla, Persian, Gujarati, Hindi, Armenian, Georgian, Khmer, Konkani, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sindhi, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya, Uyghur and Urdu


IMPROVEMENTS
  • Assets displayed on the screen (HUD), now also show you if they're being processed; if they're ready to compile, apply or check); and if they need to be fixed
  • Every time you compile/apply/test or add an asset to a depot, the informative screen from the Mechanics room changes to the current tasks
  • Increased the energy given by some food: fruits from 5 to 10 and pastry (croissants and donuts) from 10 to 15
  • Decreased the amount of damage caused by the Ray Tracing of Planys (flying enemies at the Graphics area) from 25 to 20
  • Added a 250 milliseconds chance to jump when falling off an edge
  • Moved away the Minor Bugs spawn location from level 3 near to the hot dog
  • Decreased the volume of some of the sound effects
  • Visuals of items improved and added new versions to the Audio assets
  • Visuals from the configuration menus improved and polished
  • Changed the color of the sound check bar from the HUD based on the type and moved the name to a new pop-up
  • Adjusted the sound check duration


BUG FIXES
  • If you press twice in a row the compile button on the Mechanics room, more Bugs will appear and some of them can't be fixed. Thank you to danejerus for discovering this
  • If you change the FOV from the video settings, the screen will make a abruct change everytime you enter a new level
  • Instead of keep attacking, bugs teleport when you're standing in front of them for some time
  • Test sound bar is being displayed upside down
  • If the game can't load Steam stats, it starts making frame drops
  • Instruction screen doesn't have collisions in the first level, allowing you to "out of bounds!"
