Thanks to the successful Kickstarter, we've reached another stretch goal and will add a Dog Companion to Outbound! ????✨
Originally, we didn't plan on adding a companion to Outbound, but we are very thankful that you care so much about the game that you brought this incredible idea up! This is a huge milestone for us, and we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you.
Our artists worked really hard on creating a cute and fitting companion for Outbound and we are happy to share the design today! Everybody is different, and therefore we want to offer multiple in-game skins for the companion. You can customize your companion to your liking! ????
Companion Gameplay
We have also been very hard at work programming a prototype for the companion!
You will be able to give commands such as picking up an item or directing your companion to a certain position.
You will also be able to put things from your backpack into your companion's pouch! Your companion can even store its items into your vehicle for you!
Cotton Candy & Marshmallow Skins!
We created two special skins: Cotton Candy & Marshmallow! These can be acquired as a Kickstarter add-on! You can add them to your pledge when backing the project on Kickstarter to give your companion a unique and very cute look! :)
