Seelenstein-Überlebende ist ein Action-Rollenspiel, in dem du Horden von Feinden schlachtest und dich titanischen Bossen stellst, während du mächtige Fähigkeiten erlernst, die deine Spielfigur verbessern. In der Rolle eines Jägers der Leere kannst du mit der Beute jedes Kampfes Waffen fertigen, neue Spielfiguren freischalten, deinen Fähigkeiten-Baum verbessern und neue Runen einsetzen - und das alles auf der Suche nach göttlichen Kräften.

Leicht zu spielen, schwer zu meistern
Mit tiefgehenden Spielmechaniken, die mit Roguelite-Elementen kombiniert sind, bietet Soulstone Survivors ein komprimiertes, aber tiefgründiges Action-RPG-Erlebnis:

Erforsche fast 150 einzigartige aktive Fähigkeiten (und es werden mehr!);
Schalte 14 Spielfiguren frei und spiele mit ihnen. Viele weitere werden folgen;
Experimentiere mit Hunderten von passiven Fähigkeiten und Runen, um deine Spielfiguren individuell zu gestalten;
Mit deinen Seelensteinen kannst du dich durch den Fähigkeiten-Baum vorarbeiten;
Stelle dich mächtigen Bossen und besiege sie;
Wähle Flüche aus, die deine Herausforderung in interessanter Weise erhöhen;

Fun to play but lacks a use for all the stuff you can farm.
It just feels like your progression depends on the luck you get during runs.

Despite the fact that the game is in early access, it can already provide content for several dozen hours before everything that is available at the moment is open. This is already a good result for the requested amount of money. But besides this, the devs are actively updating the game, releasing +/- large expansions once a month.
In the last update before the New Year 2023, a lot of skills and new weapons were added for a number of heroes, new boss and boss arena, which expanded the replay value and made it possible to return to the destruction of crowds of opponents who were not lucky enough to be on the same field as our protagonist.
The game has a fairly wide range of skills available to choose from. most of it is not available initially and opens gradually, with the unlock of new heroes, achievements and the crafting of new weapons for heroes. Yes, in the game, achievements are not just a way to satisfy a sense of completion, but also a means of accessing new game content.
Unfortunately, there are also a number of disadvantages.
As I mentioned above, crafting is present in the game. Unfortunately, this system is currently rather poorly implemented, but the devs are gradually expanding the list of objects available for crafting, and in the future this system should become quite diverse.
Also in the game there is a elveling-up system for runes earned during battles. Unfortunately, at the moment this system is also extremely non-variable and tiny. So far, the developers have not made any attempts to expand it, but due to the active work on many game systems, I am sure that this system will become a much more interesting element of the game.

In summary: I would like to recommend this product for purchase even though it is in the early access stage, there is already enough content to recoup the cost of the product in terms of price/quality/content amount, while game development has not stalled, unlike many other products that have entered early access.

What I like:
-visuals
-enemy variety
-ranged enemies
-character selection
-3d is nice and actually used (attacks have a z coordinate as well as x and y)
-runs well
-map variety
-music
-sound effects
-dash
-attack animations

What I don't like:
-upgrade variety is limited (not enough weapons or passives)
-controller support in menus sucks
-no auto health regen
-limited amount of weapons/abilities equippable at once
-too much aoe enemy attacks
-grindy unlocks that barely feel rewarding
-too many directional based attacks for the player and not enough aoe or random targets
-lack of boss variety

This game has a good foundation, but it unfortunately gets stale fast. Most skills behave identically but with different visuals and your only passive options for your skills are to increase the damage, size or frequency of casts. No weapon upgrades, no interactions between abilities and 1 potential build every run. Every run will end up the same, only looking different visually because your frontal cone is red instead of purple this time. The developer's plans for the future are to add more character progression and more skills, so if you're colour blind you'll likely be confused as to why the game only has 4 skills despite claiming to have 142+
