The official server will not change from a player perspective, but the update is necessary to keep everything compatible. At the same time we will also [b]release the Perpetuum standalone server[/b] installer on Steam. More info will be available upon release. Last but not least, I'm happy to inform you that the [b]Perpetuum server will become open source[/b], so we will release the server source code as well.
