Hello everyone! Welcome to dev log 67! It's been a while since the last one, but now we're back! Over the next few dev logs we'll be getting to know some of the team behind the creation of our upcoming special pack, Alice's Adventures. This time we have Laura, one of PowerWash Sim's 3D Artists! [b]Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your role at FuturLab?[/b] Laura: Heya! My name is Laura, I am French, and I studied video games in Paris. Now I am living in UK and work at FuturLab for almost 3 years. I am a 3D artist! [b]Which part of the Alice’s Adventures pack did you have the most input on?[/b] Laura: I worked on the Queens Court level with Andreea. From blockout stage to the end, doing 3D low and high poly models, textures but also taking care of the contrast, the colour scheme, the environment and lighting! The best part for me was working on the adorable bunnies. [b]What would you say is the most enjoyable part of your job?[/b] Laura: Creating, adding a bit more of storytelling when I can. It is also really nice to look at a before/after screenshot to see all the work done on a scene! [b]Is there a particular part of your job (that you can talk about) that you’ve been really proud of?[/b] Laura: I’m really happy about Minigolf, it is full of storytelling in there, from the forest to the castle. (and no the dragon hole isn’t his butthole...!). I also know that players enjoyed it, so it is probably why I’m a bit proud. (I’m also really happy about Seventh Heaven scene and Spanish Villa one) But SpongeBob DLC is probably the one I am most proud of, a lot of hand painted textures to make it look like the tv show and I think it looks great, we did a great job in here! [b]Do you have a favourite level in PowerWash Sim?[/b] Laura: Probably one of the SpongeBob levels! Conch Street or Mermalair one [b]Is there anything you’re currently playing/watching/reading?[/b] Laura: I am doing 3D on my spare time mostly, but I am waiting to play Throne and Liberty! [b]If you could give a new player one piece of advice for playing PowerWash Sim, what would it be?[/b] Laura: Use aim mode really haha [b]An important question, do you have a favourite nozzle?[/b] Laura: Not really! [b]If you could have a dream IP added to PowerWash Simulator, what would it be?[/b] Laura: My childhood game: Dofus ! That's it for this dev log!
