Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 ist eine neue Produktion mit einer gut etablierten Spielerbasis. Beginn als frischgebackener Besitzer einer Autowerkstatt und erarbeite dir deinen Weg zu einem Service-Imperium. Machen dir deine Hände in einem super realistischen Simulationsspiel schmutzig, das unglaublich realistische Details aufweist. Mach dich bereit für die Arbeit an 4000 Teilen und über 72 Autos. Krempel die Ärmel hoch und tauche in die verrückt realistische Welt einer Autowerkstatt ein.

Erweitere dein Leistungsspektrum, indem du in einen neuen Werkstattraum und neue Ausstattungselemente investierst. Reparaturen, Tests, Lackieren, Tuning und Umbau von Autos. Besuche ein Auktionshaus und kaufe Autos, die in einem mehr oder weniger guten Zustand sind. Wenn du Glück hast, entdeckst du Zufallsfunde in alten Scheunen. Einige der Fahrzeuge sind wahre Edelsteine, du musst sie nur finden.

Eine unendlich generierte Anzahl von Aufträgen wird dich für eine Weile beschäftigen. Wenn du für eine größere Herausforderung bereit bist – kannst du dich in speziell gestalteten Story-Missionen auf die Probe stellen. At first i was a bit unsure if i am haveing fun with this game. But then i saw the modded cars and all and the possibilties u can have while building up ur own car. So i think in the end it was worth every penny for me.

Grundsätzlich finde ich das Spiel Gut, leider gibt es ein paar Dinge, die mir nicht gefallen.
Bisher hat alles geklappt, derzeit habe ich einen Emden Jager repariert, wie es der Auftrag verlangt und auch eine Leistungssteigerung von 14% durchgeführt (zwischen 10 und 15 laut Auftrag).
Die Leistungssteigerung wird mir als rotes X angezeigt, hab keinen Plan warum, bei anderen Fahrzeugen gab es damit kein Problem. Als zweites ist die Fahrphysik sehr schlecht, auf der Teststrecke geht es aber auf der Vmax Strecke biegen Fahrzeuge mit hoher Leistung bei 200 irgendwo nach rechts oder links in die Botanik ab.
So lange der Jager in der Werkstatt steht gibt es keinen Daumen nach oben, 14% liegt ja wohl zwischen 10 und 15.
Da man ja nur einen Ja und einen Nein Button hat kann ich nur Nein wählen. Gäbe es ein fünf Sterne System, hätte das Spiel derzeit 3 von 5.

This game series alone is the reason my baby momma left me and put me on child support. ???? Still having a hell of a time following the game since 2015 and loving it all. Something about this game just ticks all the right boxes for me and always leaves me satisfied whenever I completely rebuild a vehicle from a junkyard. The additions of a car wash, interior detailing, and fluids has got to be the best thin for gameplay and immersion circumstances. Good, repetitive fun for my monkey brain. With or without DLC's it's an amazing game.

Smooth game play. controls are easy to use (actually similar to CMS 2018), and there are some nice improvements over the previous releases.

I've noticed that when shopping for body parts, the vehicle is pictured in the menu. That's a nice touch :-)

Electronics/ignition parts are a totally separate menu when buying parts. Interesting.

Things that need improvement: The ability to inspect single parts. Seems you can inspect a system as a whole, and get ONE look at what the parts condition is. No way to go back and look again if you missed it.

Also, I could swear that brake rotors and/or tires were more circular in CMS 2018. Seems they have more defined edges this time.

Still no licensed GM vehicles.

Decided to change my review to negative.

I enjoy playing this game, but there are some serious accessibility issues.

Key rebinding is not properly supported. For example, you can't remind mouse click actions. And the game requires you to HOLD left mouse button A LOT. My right hand hurts after playing this game for a while.

Plus there is no keybinding support for controllers AT ALL.

Another issue I found playing this game is that the game is too bright but there is NO brightness setting in game. My eyes were hurting before I realized what the problem was. I had to use AMD settings to turn down brightness for this game.

I love the game itself but it is the first game in a very long time that makes me physically uncomfortable to play. (And I've been playing a lot of games, almost every evening.)

It's 2023 (well the game was made two years ago) and I don't understand why a game would be shipped without these rather standard settings.

There are also some QoL problems. You have to remember a lot of information and sometimes it takes many clicks to switch between screens in order to do something while needing to remember what you specifically wanted to do. I guess you could argue this is a simulation game but once you do it a hundred times you'd wish the game makes it easier to do those things.

Oh another things - you can't change settings unless you are in the garage. If you are on the race track or junkyard and you want to change settings - no you can't until you return to the garage. I don't understand why the devs made the game this way...

I highly encourage you to get this game, it has a lot of exciting and especially fulfilling features with not only the incredibly detailed depth of working on your car but also to have the ability to really do anything you want all the way from the frame and color of your vehicle to the crankshaft of your engine, you name it they've got it! A massive plus side is the very fact that the creators allow the community to have the ability to mod, download cars that other people have made and they come with all sorts of new things, meaning there are just tons of vehicles waiting to be found, explored, remodeled, etc. They took it another step forward by giving you tons of customization that seems endless!! But really, for the money this game is one of my favorites and I only put 30 hours in as of this post and I think you'll enjoy it too!

You know, for a new player, this game offers plenty of value, there are lots of things to do, plenty of nice details, the graphics is quite good... But I also understand the negative reviews, since for people who bought the 2018 version it hardly offers anything. Plus, the grind is real, and you need to push through until level 10 or so to start property enjoying the game. Because at that level you'll be able to repair parts and bodywork, paint the cars, and have some proper means to restore cars you find in the junkyard and barns.

There are plenty of extremely superficial aspects of car repair that remained like that after so many versions, so the developers really should start putting some real effort into their IP, because they'll surely get some backlash in the next version... One area to improve would be to actually include the hosing between parts, because all of that is simply missing from the cars. Also, the driving/car testing aspect is really weak... you can't even experience the issues the car owners are describing. Plus it's stupid that it doesn't allow you to try driving a car unless everything is in order, including proper amount of engine oil and brake fluids.

Also: The only type of condition degradation is rust. ???? You have an almost brand new car, everything is 80+%, but oh no, the engine head (for example) is somehow completely rusted. I mean come on, developers.

March 28 2022: Game crashes, 3rd crash in 2 days moving cars an leaving garage to go outside...Great job developers are you going to replace the items I lose returning from the scrapyard or after replacing items on my vehicles ? because I still get charged for the items that just vanish !

Fix this crap it's just crashed a 4th time an I lost all the parts from the junkyard to repair a car I bought on the same visit funny thing though it takes all the parts you purchased but still charges you an the car you bought still appears outside your garage...takes your cash but saves the car this isn't a bug it's bunch of trolling A S S developers trying to get you play this crap longer...Can I have a refund if your not going fix this garbage ? Crashed a further 5th, 6th & 7th Time before I gave up...not even worth trying to make any progress while it runs like this.

This is one hell of an addictive game. As a mechanic myself there are a few issues but i am just niggling here. Adding gaskets and grease would make the game much harder. However, as it is i love it. Close to reality, plenty to repair and you can pep the cars up. Earning cash is easy so its 5 stars from me

It's relaxing and fun, mind numbing. Can totally play it while watching movies/tvs shows or random videos. It helped me learn more about cars and parts, I now have fun taking a peek under my car and naming parts lol
The only thing I wish for it to have is some kind of guide to tell what parts do what, that would be interesting!

I think this version is awesome. I have 2018 and I've enjoyed that one, too.

This version has fuses, more fluids and more, more, more. But I've yet to see a Mazda Miata MX5 hardtop born sometime around 2014/2015.. hint hint

If you like to work on cars, learn part names, rebuild cars from bottom up and never bust a knuckle, this game may be for you. If you like to take a test run and fly into a guard rail causing NO damage and maybe even flip the car, this game is possibly for you. If you wanna mix and match for fun, again, you may like this game. I like to try whatever comes to mind sometimes.. Go strange or modern... I still am not very good at gearbox ratios. *sigh* and the tires required to handle the gearbox and power. That, I'm still learning. But I did learn I'm a bit tired of bearings and push rods. lol There's SOOO many!

You know when people say that DLCs are just a way for companies to suck more money off people by selling an incomplete game and then monetising the rest of what they had originally planned? We all know how that's sometimes true and sometimes less true.

Well these people crank the concept to 11. One DLC every single month since release and judging by their previous game, don't even bother expecting some kind of GOTY or gold edition or whatever, not even a deluxe edition that includes a couple of dlcs. Despicable.

On the fence with this game. If you are new to the series then yes, get it and (hopefully) more cars, parts and DLC will become available. It is fun to build your own cars as well as troubleshoot issues to find and fix customer cars.
But, this is big, if you already own CMS 2018, then no. Why? adding a magic pressure washer to clean cars, (you don't get to control it, it just cleans) and a way to salvage old parts instead of selling them just doesn't make it worthwhile to re-invest in this game. The barn mechanics are still the same and the junkyard is less fun to go through now. Better to search stacks of cars then just a junk pile IMHO.
The big no for me was (I played CMS 2018 and loved it,) Adding a can of WD40. A bit of realism I could do without.

Really great improvement over CMS2018 which I really couldn't get into due to the clunkyness and age. But this game brings CMS back up to date properly and is a very good title to get into if you're looking for a relaxing mechanic arcade style simulator.

Pros:
-Graphics are pretty damn decent, everything very clear and it's all optimised, no crashes or issues with performance.
-Cars look really good, even if they're unbranded they look good enough.
-Garage area is nice and big, let's you walk around a lot more than CMS2018
-Customisation of garage and cars is great
-No longer a grindfest like CMS2018 was. You gain XP at a decent speed. Am already level 5 almost 6.
-Workshop already full of great branded cars in good detail
-DLC is cheap

Cons:
-Music
-Slight ghosting and effects when car is moving (eg on the lift)
-Repetitive noises like the wheel gun can get annoying, would be nice for a variation of sounds
-Camera controls are still clunky
-Car wash is not very interactive, would love to spray it down myself

Rating: 8/10

Definitely recommended while it's 10% off, it's a great relaxing game and well worth your time.

Will update once I have more hours.

So I've been playing this series since before the 2018 version. Forgot what the previous version was but...
OMG this is a major improvement over their previous versions. Graphically and Quality of Life. For example, able to clear your shopping list of items after you've purchased them!

Then there is the brake lathe, where you can finally fix the fixable brake disc and ventilated brake discs. While I love the fact that repairing parts is not completely random anymore, not sure if I love or dislike the new 'repair' mini-game.

I do love how their current skill and shop improvement system is set up in this version. PLEASE DO NOT GET RID OF IT IN THE NEXT INSTALLMENT!

I also love how the shop is a little more ability to change shop appearances. I'm still at the starting point in this game, so I can't say much more about the new features I haven't experinced yet. But I am loving every bit of the simulator experince in car mechanic simulator 2021!

at first i didn't think i like this game cuz i no nothing about fixing car.i have to say i love it.easy to follow what to fix on easy play and when you get a car fix from nothing it makes you happy. i like all the new things they added to the game.in all a very fun relaxing game.

As an automotive technician in training I think this game so far is fantastic. It really does a good job giving the player a glimpse into my trade without all the potential hazards of real life (although it does make my job look easy). I look forward to future updates and DLC.

I have a few recommendations for future updates:

1. More complex repairs and parts I wish things were a little more complex there are many aspects that aren't in the game that I feel should be. For example there are many connectors, wires, hoses etc. that aren't shown in the game and I think they should.

2. Transmission repair So far I feel this aspect of the game is sort of over looked and has serious potential. I believe in depth transmission repair would go well like repairing valve bodies, clutch packs, torque converters and various gears. Nothing is more satisfying than tearing down a transmission, with this being said I feel they should focus on both the automatic and manual transmissions and making them there own respective entities (not every car has a clutch and fly wheel).

3. Air-Conditioning and heating This would be a great addition to the game as It would introduce new tools and shop equipment to the game in order to repair and recharge the MVAC system of a car with various refrigerants.

4. More in depth electrical repairs Electrical repairs in the game are nice but could be so much more realistic. There is a whole lot more that goes into electrical work than just pulling fuses, relays and batteries.

5. Interior repairs and dashboard removal This one ties in with a few of my previous recommendations. Interior repairs such as the SRS systems and seat belts would be a nice touch. removing the dashboard is essential for many different jobs such as heating and air condition repair, steering and suspension work (steering column) and gps/entertainment systems repair.

Other than these recommendations and the obvious having more licensed car manufacturers I have to say this game is near flawless and I highly recommend if you like cars and simulator games.

This is pretty realistic as someone who enjoys working on cars IRL but still simplified enough to be enjoyable for a player who is not as mechanically inclined. If you love cars, made models of cars, or even enjoyed playing with Legos as a kid. You will enjoy yourself playing this game. --9.7/10 my personal rating of this game.

I work on cars for a living so there are some things missing in this experience that you have to deal with in reality, that I wish were in this game (but I still think should be optional if a player does not wish for all the extra hassle)...

i.e. --Wiring
--transmission fluid
--brake lines
--having to bleed brake calipers and brake lines
--torquing the lug-nuts once you put wheels back on
--tie rod alignment (just to clarify, that means specifically the tie rods, more specifically tie rod thread count. Anyone who has changed a tie rod before will know what I am talking about... I am not referring to wheel alignment which is in fact in the current game).
--parking brake cables

and the interior stuff is kinda lackluster... there is more to the interior of a car than seats, benches and steering wheels.

In the future, this game should let us customize the dashes, the shifter, the gauges, the radio/stereo, the carpet/floor material and color. Just a few ideas I had.

If the game had a bit more of these realistic aspects to it, I would give it a perfect 10. As it stands, it is an excellent game! I've put several hours into it within these last couple of weeks as of writing this review and I look forward to logging many more hours in this awesome experience, especially if they release more DLC for all the different brands of vehicles out there! So much Content! Lotsa sexy cars! Lotsa fun!

Absolutely amazing love this game!

This with a few older cars and just have a huge Verity of cars would be epic for sure.

Personally I think a co-op option would be awesome to run a garage with a friend would just be a game that wouldn't be matched ????

A great game in general and more importantly it's improved from the last version in many ways..
On other hand this game is not only an entertaining and challenging game for car lovers it's pretty educating as well!!
visuals are decent but It's not a car racing simulator.
hopefully we gen an open world with full of barn finds on 2024.

As a former mechanic (because I hated it), playing this game reminds me of the satisfaction I used to get after a job well done. Then I go back to doing real mechanic stuff and I'm reminded once again that I hate it.
This game is everything good about being a mechanic with the busted knuckles, the loss of real money, the amount of time it takes, contorting your body to reach curtain places, oil money shots to the face, and the clenched sphincter when the car shifts on jack stands while your under it.
Compared to being a real mechanic, this game is heaven.

I wanted so badly to like this game. I've tried to play it and I just can't get into. Honestly there just isn't enough difference compared to the 2018 game. Sure the new stuff is nice and the game looks good but its just more of the same overall. Honestly I would have been happy if they would have just added the new stuff to the 2018 game as a paid DLC. If you take the time to break down the new stuff most of it had similar mechanics in 2018. All of the fluids act like oil. The brake disc tool is a redressed balancer. The fuses and stuff is just like all the other parts without bolts. At the end of the day its just the same game with sprinkles. Also the game is a ton less customizable with the new file structure. I'm very disappointed.

When Car mechanic simulator 2021 released, i was happy and excited, and really hoped this time I as a player of the game could have some level of freedom, and my expectations was sky high, and than i booted up the game and then my catalog of feelings got to work.

CMS2021 if a mixed bag of feelings and expectations, and after 6 patches and 69 hours of gameplay, allt my feelings and expectations got gun down and here i'm writing this review for CMS2021.

Below i write 100% new things there are in CMS2021:

Brakefluid
Coolerfluid
Windscreenfluid
Some electronic parts
Paint many car parts

Things you can't do in CMS2021:

Paint anything chrome, besides the whole car. Rims and engine parts you can't paint crome, after 6 patches i still don't understand why you can paint the whole car chrome and not the parts. The chrome paint is there, why not make it so it can be on any part. Maybe developers are saving that option for an DLC, who knows?

So is CMS2021 better than CMS2018 ? Maybe, it runs a bit better, but other than that, CMS2021 is basically the same as CMS2018. At least in cms2018 you could paint rims chrome :-D

I can recommend this game, but not at full price, wait for a sale, cms2021 do not contains that much new things compared to cms2018.
