Now it is time to get to know Kaito. You may have encountered him in Lost in Harmony previously. Kaito's story is one of resilience and strength in the face of adversity, and I believe you'll find it both inspiring and heart-wrenching.
Kaito’s Past
Kaito is totally different from Zoe. He was born in Colton City, the polluted and dangerous capital of Petria.
His life was far from easy and happy. At just 15 he lost his girlfriend Aya to cancer caused by extreme pollution and a lack of proper healthcare for poor citizens. Three years have passed since then, but Kaito is still haunted by the traumatic memory, struggling to overcome and forget his past.
Moving to White Sands
In a run from pollution and poverty of Colton City, Kaito’s parents decided to move to the rich condominium – White Sands where the living conditions are significantly better. However, life in White Sands is still tough for Kaito's family, who are treated with contempt and have to do hard physical work to survive
Will Kaito’s family be ready to cooperate with Black Brigades in hope to get help from them in return to secure their future? ????
Friendship with Zoe
Unlike other kids of White Sands, Kaito doesn’t go to school because he has to help his parents with work to survive. Within the 3 years of living in White Sands, Kaito didn’t make any friends except Zoe. Most of the free time Kaito spends on the construction site with Zoe listening to music and practicing skateboarding tricks.
Kaito's opinion
Having had a hard life and a lot of traumatic experiences shaped his opinion on the government, which are quite depressive and very different from Zoe’s. The friendship of these two opposite teenagers will change their lives ultimately.
