Let's talk about our progress
The open-world
Since the release of our trailer at the Future Game Show on August 22, we have been working hard on developing tools to create our open-world in order to generate the map, the environment with the most modular - scalable - optimized system possible. This way, our environment artists can build the world you will explore, and it's going to be awesome! You know what? 50Km²+ of floor space, + the verticality in the city + the surrounding ocean... on a 100km² map. For example, we shared a while ago an example of our workflow to create the post-apocalyptic environment using our advanced materials, to get a nice blend between bricks / foam / plaster in this example: [previewyoutube=Nc_962-UclU;full][/previewyoutube] This door generator is another example, to procedurally create thousands of variations of damaged doors, regardless of the asset used, at no cost. Gameplay is the key! Our mocap animations are scheduled to be recorded in November. Right after that, we'll start sharing our gameplay mechanics, and we're really looking forward to it! In the meantime, we'd love to hear what you'd like to grow in this greenhouse that you can build! [previewyoutube=nzGX8xIrJwE;full][/previewyoutube] Let me give you some information about the Greenhouse! It has 3 states :- Natural, the simplest
- Electric, you can add your UV lights once you can generate enough electricity.
- Irrigated, you can now irrigate your plantations to improve your production.
