Einfach und spaßig. Ein guter Zeitvertreib falls man auch doch mal nicht ganz konzentriert ist. Das Spielprinzip besteht darin durch abgrenzen von Gebieten auf einer Karte langsam eben jene zu erobdern. Im Verlauf der Level gibt es dabei verschiedene Gefahren. Zunächst eher ungerichtet später auch sehr gezielt. Kurzweiliger Spaß und einfach nett. Außerdem gibt es auch die Level aus dem original Fortix.

Fortix 2, der zweite Teil der Reihe ist für meinen Geschmack etwas kurz geraten.

Die Level sind fordernd aber nicht zu schwierig für Einsteiger - den ersten Teil muss man nicht gespielt haben um Fortix 2 zu verstehen. Fortix 2 ist in dem Sinne keine Fortsetzung, sondern ein eigenständiger Teil. Das Spiel erzählt ohnehin keine spannende zusammenhängende Geschichte.

Zu empfehlen für Freunde von Gelegenheitsspielen und kurzweiliger Unterhaltung ohne Wiedereinstiegsschwierigkeiten nach längerer Pause. Eine ausgedehnte Pause legt man aber wahrscheinlich bei der Länge des Titels ohnehin nicht ein. Und wenn, fängt man es nicht wieder an.

Ich gebe einen Daumen hoch, weil der Preis verhältnismäßig fair gehalten wurde zum Spielspaß!

Mehr Levels, mehr Steam-Errungenschaften und ein anderer Grafikstil als der erste Teil, aber im Grunde wieder das Gleiche. Hier gibt es noch Mauern und magische Barrieren die das Spiel hinauszögern.

Wer vom ersten Teil begeistert war, dem wird das wahrscheinlich wieder gefallen, aber keine Kaufempfehlung.

Die größte Änderung gegenüber dem ersten Teil ist wohl die comichafte Grafik. Das Spielprinzip ist immer noch das gleiche

Ich mag das Spiel wirklich sehr, besonders die Idee davon :) Und die steigerung zum ersten Teil ist aufjedenfall zu sehen!

Die gelungene Fortsetzung des ersten Teils bietet neben einer deutlich überarbeiteten Grafik auch einige neue Gameplay Elemente. Kurzweilige Unterhaltung für wenig Geld!

funktioniert so ähnlich wie ein Spiel namens Qix Anfang der 80'er. ist komplexer, macht aber auch mehr Spaß!. und kostet nich' viel! :-) Sehr empfehlenswert!

Kennt noch jemand Qix auf einem der alten Computersysteme (C64, Apple II, Amiga)? Dann ist er auch ein alter Sack wie ich. Das Spiel ist eine moderne Umsetzung davon mit netten Ideen und knuffiger Grafik.

Didn't love it or hate it, but it's a good enough puzzle game to kill some time with. Didn't really feel that reverse TD vibe as advertised but still had a bit of fun with it. The puzzles get more complicated towards the end but overall not super challenging. Simple but enjoyable little $2 game!

Sequel to the prequel.

You need not buy fortix 1 because all the levels of first games are there in the classic mode of fortix 2 including new levels. Looks like the developers either lost their minds or just a brilliant strategy to extract more money. I don't know, but yeah, fortix 1 and fortix 2 both games are included in fortix 2. Including a zombie mode. But you have to figure out on your own, how to unlock that zombie mode. There's even an achievement related to that.

Finally came around to coming back to this game. I've owned it for years and enjoyed the original time I played it. Came back to complete all achievements, and it's still addicting, even with the simple gameplay.

This game plays like a phone app, but yet it's still fun on the PC. You are a soldier and you taking back the land from dragons, trolls, and other evil creatures. You must capture or destroy the turrets and take over the coat of arms to beat each level. In each level you must make a path and connect to your safe area in order to add a new area as a safe area. Kind of hard to explain, but you start on the perimeter of your screen with just an outline that is safe, and as you make a path that forms a box, rectangle, or any geometric shape and reconnect to the original perimeter or safe zone, it absorbs that area and it is added to the safe zone. Once you have taken up the entirety of the screen as a safe zone, you win the level.

It gets progressively hard. At first it's monsters walking around and turrets firing fire arrows. Then it's dragons and then the fire arrows turn into magical arrows that follow you as you move around. Then the dragons start following you rather than flying a random flight pattern. Then the dragons spit fire. It gets progressively hard, and walls appear that you can just walk through, so you need to build a safe space around them.

During the game, a star will show up giving you bonuses. It can add time to your level, as you need to beat the level within a certain amount of time. It adds lives, as you only have a certain amount of lives in each level, it speeds up your movement, freezes dragons and other monsters, freezes the towers from firing, allows you to fly over walls, gives you a shield so you are invincible fora while, and more. Using these correctly can make or break a level, but because they are random, sometimes you find yourself running around the whole level just to get an extra life instead of what you were looking for.

I beat the game fairly easily, but came back to get the achievements which require a perfect on all levels in impossible difficulty. This was tough and tested my patience. The game is random for better and for worse, so it's to know when a tower will fire or which direction a dragon will move next when it hits an edge.

Overall, it's not a AAA game, but definitely worth some time playing just to check it out. I enjoyed it and was entertained, try it, you might be too.

Fortix 2 is an arcade fantasy game developed by Nemesys Games.

Gameplay / Story

Your task is to draw rectangles in the picture until you have reduced the original rectangle so much that you win the game and thus push back your enemies and thus gradually recapture the country. But this is not always easy, because when you draw, bats, fire arrows, cannonballs, death dragons and other nasty attacks attack - if the projectile or enemy touch the hero or his unfinished line, you lose a life. To make matters worse, different surfaces such as seas or forests affect the hero's running speed and some walls block his way. Then he first has to isolate keys so that gates open. Elsewhere, he can fence in guns that automatically fire at enemy towers. In the end, you don't have to occupy the majority of the map, but conquer certain, well-guarded points - a successful extension of the concept.

Fortix 2 ist ein Arcade-Fantasy Spiel, welches von Nemesys Games entwickelt wurde.

Gameplay / Geschichte

Deine Aufgabe besteht darin, Rechtecke in das Bild einzuzeichnen, bis man das ursprüngliche Rechteck so stark verkleinert hat, dass man den Sieg einstreicht und so mit deine Feinde zurück zu drängen und so das Land nach und nach zurückzuerobern. Dies ist aber nicht immer einfach, da wenn man zeichnet, attackieren Fledermäuse, Feuerpfeile, Kanonenkugeln, Todesdrachen und andere Gemeinheiten - berühren Projektil oder Feind den Helden oder seine unvollendete Linie, verliert man ein Leben. Zu allem Überfluss beeinflussen verschiedene Untergründe wie Meere oder Wälder des Helden Laufgeschwindigkeit und manche Mauer versperrt ihm glatt den Weg. Dann muss er zunächst Schlüssel eingrenzen, damit sich Tore öffnen. Anderswo kann er Geschütze einzäunen, die automatisch auf feindliche Türme feuern. Am Ende muss man nicht der Großteil der Karte einnehmen, sondern bestimmte, gut bewachte Punkte erobern - eine gelungene Erweiterung des Konzepts.

Fortix 2 improves upon the arcade-strategy formula of the original Fortix, and adds a few new twists to the gameplay. The new game has maps that really force you to rethink your gameplay style.

Fortix 2 also features a better menu interface. One that is comfortable to use on the PC - a problem that the first game had.

Fortix 2 includes the maps from Fortix, although gameplay is subtly different in this version (specifically: the way that you capture castles has changed). The first game gives you a lot of gameplay for just $0.99, but if you like, you can skip the original and play its levels in Fortix 2.

Good game! I really enjoy playing this.
