Hi everyone, You can now play Teardown in 3rd person. This also means there is now a selection of playable characters to choose from, so you can picture who has been carrying the sledgehammer around this whole time. This new perspective also required us to build out animation support, which modders will have access to, as well as the ability to create and share their own custom characters. To recap some details on today’s update:

• 3rd Person Camera: Players can now toggle between first and third-person views. All in-game tools, vehicles, and official post-launch content have been updated to fully support the new third-person perspective.
• Playable Characters: Players can now select from a roster of unique characters from the Löckelle universe. Some of these characters need to be unlocked by completing various in-game objectives.
• Merlin Ragdoll: Merlin, the spawnable ragdoll, is available in the spawn menu, allowing players to have a crash-test dummy for demolition experiments.
• Modded Characters: Players can now create and play as custom characters through modding.
• New Modding API Animations: Animation capabilities are now available in the Modding API.
