Hello Everyone,

Are you ready for the TT Isle of Man 2020? This is your chance to make your mark on the iconic race by competing in TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2. The open qualifiers start June 13th for PlayStation 4 and Steam users.

This competition is free for anyone who already has a copy of TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 (PS4 or Steam)

Please Note: In order to run this competition, leaderboards of the (Circuit of Ireland, IOM Track (1lap) and Senior Race IOM – 6 laps) will be reset in the Superbike category at the time each round starts (only on PS4 and PC). If you’d like to preserve your timing, we recommend taking a screenshot of your best times on the course.

FORMAT


Open Qualifiers

The Open Qualifiers start June 13th (9.00 UTC + 1) and run until June 17th (18.00 UTC + 1). To enter, set a time in the Time Trial (Superbike category) on the Circuit of Ireland. The TOP 50 from the combined PS4 & PC Leaderboards (these will be announced on Social Media) will proceed onto Round 2.

Round 2 - Lap of the TT

Round 2 pits our TOP 50 for one lap on the Isle of Man (set a time in the Time Trial Superbike category). Phase 2 starts on June 20th (9.00 UTC + 1) and will run until June 22nd (18.00 UTC + 1). The TOP 10 (who also competed in the Open Qualifiers) from the combined PS4 & PC Leaderboards (these will be announced on Social Media) advance into the finals.

The Grand Final

Our TOP 10 finalists will have to keep up the pace as they take on all 6 laps of the Isle of Man (Quick Race Superbike Category) on June 25th (9.00 UTC+1) to June 26th (9.00 UTC+1). The fastest finalist from the combined scoreboard will be declared winner!

Prizes

  • 1st Place: Trip to IOM TT RACES 2021, including travel and accommodation for 2 people
  • 2nd Place: Official ARAI Helmet TT 2020 Limited Edition
  • 3rd Place: RST Merchandise


Settings

All races will be held in the Superbike category, all riders are allowed. Bike upgrades are allowed (and can be unlocked via the Career mode). All in-game assists are allowed, gears can be set to either manual or automatic. However, the use of any outside tools to influence the outcome of the race will result in disqualification from the tournament.

TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2020 Rules


Definition of a rider: a rider is a person who owns TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 on PS4 or PC and puts their time on the leaderboard in the Open Qualifiers and following events. When a rider begins playing on PS4 or Steam, they must continue using this account until the end of the competition.

All riders must follow the given rules and settings, any changes that defer from the outlines below are not allowed. Matches need to be played with the following settings:

Eligibility of Riders
Any player on PS4 or PC who owns a copy of TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 is able to compete in the TT Ride on the Edge 2020. In the event the grand prize winner is under 18, he/she will need to be accompanied to the final by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Multiple accounts are not allowed (2 or more accounts on the same platform, or different platforms)
  • Quick Race
  • Superbike Category
  • All riders allowed
  • Gears can be set to manual or automatic
  • In-game assists are allowed


Competition Outline

Fairplay

In the interest of ensuring fairplay, the admins (Bigben/Nacon and/or Kylotonn Racing Games) have the right amend or add rules at any point throughout the competition.

Severability

If a provision of this rulebook is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect:

a) the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement

or

b) the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this Agreement.

Names, Symbols and Sponsors

Bigben Interactive (Nacon) and/or Kylotonn reserve the right to forbid the use of unwanted or occupied names and symbols in their competitions. Any legally protected words or symbols are generally forbidden unless the owner has explicit permission. No advertisement or promotion of sponsors that are solely or widely known for pornographic, drug use or other adult/mature themes and products is allowed. Additionally any usernames that could be considered inflamatory to groups of people (hate speech etc. are equally banned).

Note to players: Once you have started the competition, please do not change your display/username between events else your continued presence in the competition cannot be verified.

Confidentiality

Any and all communications between league participants and administrators are confidential and no tot be made public by the participant without prior permission by the Bigben Interactive (Nacon) or Kylotonn Racing Games.

Rights of use

Bigben Interactive (Nacon) reserves the right to use material from all of their matches (i.e. pictures, videos, streams, replays, demos, screenshots, etc.). Players are only allowed to stream their own matches.

Cheating

Any rider will be disqualified from the tournament if a cheat or abusive exploit is detected. In-game penalties cannot be contested.

Betting

You are not allowed to bet on any races in this tournament at all.

Behaviour

Any offensive, disrespectful or unsportsmanlike behaviours (including but not limited to flaming, insults, physical violence) will be punished and can lead to disqualification.

Cancellation & Delays

In the event of delays or cancellation, riders will be notified by the organiser.

Changes to the rulebook

Bigben Interactive (Nacon) / Kylotonn Racing Games are allowed to change or update rules in the existing rulebook at any time.

Server crashes.

In case of server crashes during an event which would make the competition impossible or altered, organizers will inform the community on social media about the decision to postpone the event, extend it, or reorganise, depending on the severity of the crash.
