Valheim - News - Word from the Devs: Summer in Sight

[p]Hello vikings![/p][p][/p][p]Summer is here already! In case you’ve missed it, that also means that you’re able to build the Maypole and craft the Midsummer Crown in Valheim – you’ll be able to do so for the rest of June and through the first week of July, so there’s plenty of time still to enjoy the time of the summer solstice.[/p][p][/p][p]There’ll be no warm summer weather in the Deep North though! Last time we saw Hervor Bloodtooth, she got attacked by an Elaking as she was exploring a large hall. And it appears she has been taken deep below ground…[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube="zS4IixTkvdQ;full"][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]You may have guessed it already, but that’s your first sneak peek of a Deep North dungeon! We call them Winding Tunnels, and they’re one of many things that we have been working on behind the scenes which we hope you’re excited to explore in the future. We will, as usual, give you a still image as well, but after that we’ll be leaving Hervor to her fate for a while. We want to share another teaser for that update, in the form of an archery target – because even with improved mechanics you might still want an easy way to practice your own skills! The target will also let you know how close to the center you managed to shoot, and you will be able to retrieve your arrows or bolts once you’re done practicing.[/p][p]
