In 1348, life is tough. The plague spreads across the countryside, bandits roam the roads, and surviving takes more than just strength. At the center of our story are two people whose lives become tangled: Aeta and Bianca.
[b]Aeta[/b] is the only child of a noble family, raised with tales of chivalry and honor. Unlike many in her position, she refuses to accept a fate limited by gender or birthright. With her father's support, she learns swordsmanship and [b]dreams of becoming a knight[/b], driven by a strong desire to help those in need. Brave and idealistic, she sees knighthood not just as a title but as a true calling.

[b]Bianca[/b] comes from a very different Italy. Born into poverty, she has worked as a servant at Aeta's castle since she was a child. While Aeta learned from books and training grounds, Bianca's education came from the streets and the tough realities of survival. Street-smart, quick-witted, and resourceful, she has a sharp intelligence that helps her read people and situations with ease. Though life taught her to expect little, meeting the lord's daughter changed everything.
