Agency analysts have recently begun detecting anomalous shifts in the Distorted Hunter’s behavior. Apparently, these fear-inducing variants of the Distorted can evolve their abilities over time, though the specifics of how exactly this is possible remain under study.

This time, HQ is reporting an impending transformation in the Distorted Hunter’s capabilities. Upon taking on the form, Operatives will no longer receive intel on the locations of all rivals within the anomalous zone. Field reports from our bravest teams indicate its X-ray vision has weakened, restricting detection to only the nearest Operative — and sometimes that’s your ally.

The Agency recommends gearing up to study these altered behaviors and advises against using an artifact to trigger the transformation unless absolutely necessary. However, any additional insight could prove invaluable and still swing the outcome of a raid.
