[b]A bit of context for those unfamiliar with Archrebel and my story: Archrebel Tactics[/b]’ journey began back in 2010 and has been redesigned from scratch three times before I finally found the right formula and honed the skills needed to be worthy of reincarnating and expanding the classic formulas of [b]Rebelstar[/b] and [b]Laser Squad[/b] turn-based, tactical war games.
Progress has been steady since 2021, when I left my job to fully dedicate myself to game development, with [b]Archrebel Tactics[/b] as the first title on my list. Unfortunately, after three years of intense work, my funds were nearly depleted, and a few ill-timed real-life events forced me to scale back to part-time development.
That said, development is still going strong — and now, with the financial support of [b]MicroProse[/b], I have the option to return to full-time development should I feel my current pace isn’t meeting expectations. The project has never been more alive than it is now!

Since the game’s demo was released last year on[url="https://ularis-badler.itch.io/archrebel"] itch.io[/url], it has received many new features — namely (excluding bug fixes, UI improvements, and QoL additions):
[b]Target Painter[/b] - A new item that increases the signature targets and their vulnerability to critical shots.
[b]Proximity Mine[/b] - New explosive weapon that will detonate when enemy units come adjacent to it.
[b]EMP Grenade[/b] Launcher ammo - New EMP ammo for the grenade launcher.
[b]Hack Tool[/b] - The hack tool now can also disrupt the AP pool of target droids, at the distance.
[b]Charge Pack[/b] - New item that can recharge shields, energy weapons, and droid batteries.
[b]Cloak Field[/b] - New item that cloaks units making them immune to ranged attacks.
[b]Decoy Projector[/b] - New item that projects a ranged holographic image to bait enemy units to attack it.
[b]Phoenix Shot[/b] - New item that revive human units shortly after they have fallen in battle.
[b]Webber[/b] - New item that will grapple and hold an enemy target in place.
[b]Neuro Gun[/b] - New item that lets the player briefly control wild life and enemy soldiers.
[b]Stun Blaster[/b] - New item that lets the player stun living units.
[b]Sentry Gun[/b] - A one time deployable turret that automatically engages foes.
[b]Sunblade[/b] - A new deadly melee weapon for the knight class that hits multiple targets in a single strike.
[b]Neutron Blaster[/b] - New deadly weapon for the Elite class.

[b]Level up system[/b] (update bonus modifiers for attributes, skills, and gear per class based on the new mechanics in place).
