  • Die einmalige Chance eine Welt im großen Stil aus der Mikroperspektive einer Honigbiene zu betrachten;
  • Die realistische Repräsentation eines Ortes, der vom Central Park inspiriert wurde;
  • Die Möglichkeit mit deiner Umgebung zu interagieren: Menschen, Tiere, Pflanzen und andere Insekten;

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2649947536

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2649946989

Von meiner Seite also volle Kauf und Spielempfelung!

I am a former beekeeper as well as a big fan/nerd when it comes to bee facts. .If you are like me you will enjoy this game! I love that you can unlock different bee models like orchids and carpenter bees to play.

I actually found this game to be frustratingly difficult at times on hard-mode with a controller- especially in chases and fights, but I wasn't too upset with that. I was worried it would be too fast and easy.

It was a quick game in terms of the storyline. It took me about two nights to finish. I wouldn't say the storyline flowed the best or always made sense. Sometimes things would happen in the storyline that lead to absolutely nothing but I guess that is pretty realistic. There were some accuracies about bees I really appreciated and some things I wasn't keen on, like stinging people repetitiely and them barely reacting (even if the humans are pretty funny and weird in this game.)

I did however like the characters. The graphics and audio are amazing, very engaging, and the flying is very fun. It's a chill game for the most part, and I enjoyed the animals and scenery. Cute game and you can tell it was made by a great team.

An interesting experience. Loved the art style during the story telling. The story itself is rather short for how large a map this game has. There are large chunks of the map that are never visited or explored unless you just fly out there on your own to explore. There's no quests or tasks or reason to actually explore the full map which, I feel, was a serious mistake on the developer's part. Why bother making such an extensive, open world, map but not have many more things to do in it?

While it's a fun game that kept me riveted during the story, it was boring and lackluster with how it never really followed through on all the potential. This needed to be developed further both in content and in overall plot development. I mean, the main character has knowledge about human technology that neither she nor her hive sisters had ever encountered before. Are we really supposed to believe she gained this knowledge from a brief flight across the park? Knowing exactly what the device was called and its purpose? Give me a break. Things like that really broke the immersion and left a lot of questions unanswered.

Worth playing but not worth the price for how empty, undeveloped and repetitive the game is.

Alright, it's not properly a simulator, but It's relaxing, very cute and kids friendly. I didn't have any problems with the controls, using just W to move forward and mostly guiding my bee with the mouse, I think that's the best way to play a game where you can fly.
I liked the game very much, the music is nice and I wish other animal games had this graphics. I love the chance to customise the bee, I will try to 100% the game.
Good job, very good job.

Can't call this a simulator. It is more like a bee adventure than actually playing of an actual bee. The gameplay is very simple and monotone, however with much love to the story. In between you get some information on bees that might be just as right as they may be wrong.
Overall it is fun to fly around, but missing out on too much extra fun additions. Instead you get the same boring minigames.

It might be too early for me to write this after 0,7 hours of gameplay and I hope there is more to the game than it's leading on to, however the full price is far too much for this.

More like The Bee Movie than a scientifically accurate simulation experience of being a bee. Even though its barely stated in the marketing, the targeted audience for this game is children. If you do not identify as a child or are not buying this for your kid, I recommend skipping the buy.

I was actually having a hard time finding a reason to play this one. Then I noticed you can stare at people's asses (or animals' depending on your taste) from a bee's pov and they don't even notice you. It may sound distressing but maybe it's the sole reason for this game to exist. Perverting. Who knows?

Ah, you can twerk too. It's fair.

Pretty chill game to just fly around and bee yourself. I found myself pollen a few all nighters so that I could just keep collecting honey and killing hornets. Had to call into work sick and tell them I was just winging it. My girlfriend told me I had to start beehiving and she really means beesness. The game is a little short and you can fly through the main story in a few hours which kind of stings, but if you want to see what all the buzz is about I would recommend giving this one a try. You hive no idea what you are missing with this one. Now go get this game and buzz off.

Bee simulator is a family friendly open world third-person adventure in which you partake in the hustle and bustle of а beehive. This is not a real simulator, game primarily aimed towards kids and has a lot of educational materials. If you look past hit-and-miss visuals and short campaign it can be a relaxing experience.

Pros:
- Good controls (on keyboard and mouse);
- Cute story;
- Educational;
- Decent minigame variety;
- Good soundtrack;

Cons:
- Bad optimisation;
- Short campaign;
- Lack of polish;
- Outdated visuals;
- Mediocre voice acting;

The game is cute, probably targeted audience for this game is younger people, but it has problems:
first is the price 30€ for a 2 hours story this is crazy, the story is nice but is very simple
second in game there is four activities collect honey, fight, race and dance everything done in simplest way possible, probably for younger players
third this is not simulator game

I do recommend it for 5-14 years old kids. The game takes up to 4 hours to complete but that can be extended by performing more fetch quests. The entire story is one fetch quest after another but the exploration and educational elements are good. The game is absolutely not worth the asking price though, only get it when it's under $5. Graphics are average (but up to 2010 standards), sound is okay, and dialogue is very simple, it's evident the game would be better suited for mobile devices - although in its current state it's obviously not optimised, it takes up a lot of resources and loading can take several minutes. It's a budget game for kids.

Very aimed at kids. Very arcadey, not really what I'd expected from reading simulator in the title. It reminds me of old licensed Wii games, where developers were given an IP and came up generic minigame-filled games for every kids movie and television show. The flying doesn't feel very good and the sense of scale is a bit off. I was hoping for more... simulation, y'know, what a day (or month) in the life of a bee might be like.

Wait, you're charging THIRTY DOLLARS?

It is a nice casual game and it is fun to play, and even though some of the voice acting is truly horrendous (the wasps and the queen bee), it somehow adds to its charm. I don't think it is worth the current asking price of £24.99 though - grab it when it goes on sale.

I was close to giving this game a bad review, because I didn’t enjoy playing it… but I need to be honest to myself. I simply am not part of the game’s target group. Let me explain…

Bee Simulator is a game for kids. It is much more educational, than it is for fun. There are informative facts about bees on every screen and mid-game. The story itself is very much what you would expect from a bee game (no spoilers) and it is very short (90 minutes – in one play-through). After that, you can fly around and play mini games. These mini games were also the main part of the story. But what are they?

Most of the time you will simply fly around the map. The map is open world, quite big and really well designed. It is beautiful. But the gameplay is boring. Fight wasps by clicking X or Y at the right time, follow other insects (flying through rings), collect pollen or do dance battles (4 arrow keys – press them in the right order to copy the opponent’s dance moves). I suppose that you understand by now why this game is for kids. It is impossible to lose any fight or dance battle if you are older than 12.

You can also play those mini games in coop multiplayer. There are 3 different maps to choose from and in which you can freely fly around. I think it is nice that they added a coop mode (and 3 unique maps for that game mode).

Nevertheless, the hand drawn loading screens, as well as the animated video sequences are really well done. The whole game has quite nice graphics and a solid soundtrack.

To sum it up, even if this is a very educational game directed to kids, I must admit, that it suits the target group well. Therefore, I recommend this game (for kids mainly).

Seemed like a good game at first, the first challenge was the dance challenge, it was fine the controls worked well enough. As soon as I did the chase challenge the controls were bad. I turned my mouse sensitivity up pretty high to help with the bee to turn- it did NOT work. The control to go up, down, side to side worked fine. The turning did not work at all! My friend and I could not beat the challenge because of the lack of turning ability, please fix this. :(
I would like to retry this game once this inconvenience gets fixed, thank you and good day.

I get that it is hard for a game to be educational, entertaining, and enjoyable.

Bee Simulator tries, but the game is marred by the fact it is beeyond slow. Full of near condescending dialogue, terrible puns, and repetitive quests, the price tag of $30 really does sting. The over simplistic mini-games and lack of pollen upgrades mixed with a super short story makes this simulator a see you later.

I'll start off with the positive parts of the game;
It's cute sometimes and looks nice and the flying is okay.

And now for the negatives;
It's pretty bad. From the plot to the narrative to the gameplay to the minigames, it's all subpar or awful. This game is called Bee Simulator yet offers no basic simulation mechanics, it's a really short linear story with some minigames. The story makes no damn sense, and whoever learned their bee facts for this game knew like ten of them and then just guessed everything else it seems like.

The Plot: The whole story is you are a newly grown bee that is learning the ropes to become a pollen collector. So one would assume that okay, we gather the pollen and bring it back to the hive to make honey or whatever, maybe help expand the hive by doing this or try and make some sort of quota. Nope, you go and fly through some circles near like ten plants to gather some pollen and then immediately be bombarded by sidequests or other storylines about other bugs and squirrels for some reason? Your characters job is to be a pollen collector yet you only do that for about 3 short missions, collect 30 common pollen, collect 20 rare pollen, collect 10 epic pollen and then boom never bother with that again. Instead your character is constantly trying to do something else, like help some recently grown bees that got lost in a tree somehow? Or investigate a bee drone, or constantly disobeying orders to try and look for new hive spots (even though there should be tons of scouts fully capable of that, she could easily have just told some of them she saw nice spots), or even going off to fight fricken hornets somehow... Yet the game is constantly being peddled as this sort of accurate representation of bees with all this dialogue about bee facts and yet I can take on hornets by the droves as a single honey bee. So little is cohesive about this and it jumps around so much it's rather annoying, and then it all ends so suddenly.

The Narrative: Throughout the game there is this 'save the bees' sort of narrative going on, with the narrative telling you all sorts of bee facts. While I suppose there is nothing really wrong inherently with this, combined with the ridiculous nature of the actual gameplay and story I feel like it just fails to really give any sort of meaningful commentary that is backed up by the game itself as many of the things told about bees is almost immediately shown false in the games' world. Born to be a pollen gatherer? Nope, you are an ambitious bee who is also a master warrior capable of taking down swathes of hornets, beat almost every bee and other creatures in races, and also scout more efficiently than entire droves of scout bees. Hornets are a dangerous predator that can easily kill many species of bees, however there are some defensive tactics bees can use (this technique is never mentioned in the game btw, I just like bees) such as luring hornets into their hives and surrounding them, beating their wings to raise the temperature so much that they literally cook the hornet. This however takes many bees to actually perform, so does the game with it's narrative of bee knowledge bother to mention any relevant facts to how a bee might fight back against a hornet? Nah, a hornet busts into the bee hive, two bees (out of the hundreds floating around) notice it (you and some other bee) and the other bee runs to tell the queen to get back up to fight this hornet while you, as a single fucking bee, decide to stay and hold off this comically bad supervillain hornet. Not to mention, shouldn't they have just released a ton of warning pheromones? How did a hornet manage to slip into a massive beehive without so much as a single bee death or any warnings from scouts, guards, or pollen collectors on their way in and out of the hive? The world may never know...

Gameplay: The only thing that is kind of fun is the flying mechanics. The game insists are starting the sensitivity ridiculously low that I couldn't even imagine how someone could manage to turn their bee around without using a whole table, but once almost maxed out actually offers a decent flight experience. Flying around the park as a bee was just pretty fun and is pretty much the only redeeming quality about this game other than some decent visuals. The gameplay basically just consists of doing the main story quests, three different types of minigames (battle, race, dancing), and dropping off pollen at the hive when you get full. Collecting the same rarity of flower multiple times gives you a speed boost so generally you want to collect some at first when leaving the hive, though when you get further out there is sweets you can eat that more efficiently do this without making you go back the hive.
To specify the minigames a bit more in depth; The battle minigame is basically you fighting hornets that are like comical middleschool bullies. It's not awful, and actually has a medium amount of difficulty when fighting bosses, but everything else is crazy easy when you figure out the mechanics. You can attack straight, up, and down and block in the same directions. Most of the enemy AI will act the exact same if you follow through with the same mechanics, such as: Start the fight with a down attack, attack forward twice, followed by an up attack, block, counter, down attack, up attack, forward attack, super special (always forward cause its fastest), forward attack x2, down attack. Sometimes the ai will throw a curveball at you, but mostly this was the ritual I fell into and I could easily kill a first opponent this way. Often the enemies will get confused if you attack from the bottom and will immediately go for a forward block after their bottom block, and if you are aggressive enough you can easily use this to your advantage to attack them the moment they stop shielding.
The race minigame is fairly easy most of the time and is quite lenient, so if you fall behind the enemy racer will actually slow down for you or will take wider turns to let you catch up which you can easily use to your advantage to catch them. Basically the racing just consists of not falling behind (or catching the enemy racer) by flying through rings and avoiding wind tunnels and some obstacles. It's pretty basic.
The dancing minigame is you just copying the moves of another bee (up, left, down, right) to get directions. I feel like a lot more could have been done with this, but it's literally just a copying minigame.
There are no upgrades of any sort, or any purpose other than to do these minigames and story missions other than some trophies you can easily get by just flying around and getting pollen for the tree. My advice? Just get about 2k research (what pollen turns into when delivered to a hive) on the tutorial mission and you won't need any for basically the rest of the game.

Setting and Visuals:
The whole game takes place in a park with a really sad zoo next to it. There is also a small lake. The speed of your bee makes the area feel quite large though, especially on you initial foray out of the hive, but it quickly starts to feel small. It all looks rather nice, and there is plenty of activity that does make everything seem lively. When you fly by people and animals they give a little 'bump' interaction. You can interact with some stuff, like popping balloons and stinging random people, but it's pretty shallow. I personally just like bees so I thought a lot of the bee interactions (like picking up mushrooms with your tiny feet) was just really cute. When your pollen level gets full you have big clumps of pollen on your legs which is a nice touch.

Overview:
The game was meh. The visuals were nice and some parts of the story were cute and the flying mechanics felt good. But ultimately this was almost a flop in every other sector. This wasn't a bee simulator, it's a short linear story. I honestly would have refunded this if I hadn't gotten it off of humble bundle choice. 3.5/10

This game is currently in the Humble Bundle for July 2021. If you are interested in the game and it's before August 3rd, 2021, consider picking up the game as part of the current monthly bundle.

Something Something Jerry Seinfeld. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought of the Bee Movie when they heard about this, right? Bee Simulator is a story-based open-world game where players explore a large map as a bee. While it looks like this could be similar to Goat Simulator, it’s more story-based with players being tasked with various jobs from the hive.

This is almost edutainment. There’s a heavy focus on bee information, and the game is quite clever. There are even subtle pieces where they point at the fact the main character is female because she leaves the hive, the queen communicates while releasing odors and pheromones, and bees dance to communicate. Someone has done their homework.

The story and missions are decent, and the gameplay is good. There’s a lot of discoverability and collecting of different parts of the game if players want to see everything. The main story is said to be two hours long. Also, there is the fact that it probably shouldn’t be called a simulator, it’s just a typical game.

Pick this up if you want a game where you play as a bee, or want to learn a little more about these tiny animals. Some of the systems are a bit clunky, and I found myself needing to use the d-pad at times, as well as ending on a rather hard race, but I find myself wanting to return to see more of this world.

Felt like a child the second the tutorial bee talked to me, which would be fine if it wasn't pretending to look educational. I was expecting to bee helpful to a hive, not fly near jpgs of a flower. Also the scaling is really weird, bees aren't that big.

This is neither a bee simulator or anything remotely educational. It's just an arcade flyer that has an insect theme. I mean how dumb can you get when you're assuming that bees want pollen? Bees get nectar from flowers. They only inadvertently spread pollen after drinking nectar. They don't eat or care about pollen at all. Also, bees need to land on flowers to collect food. They don't just fly through it.

Change the name to Bee Arcade because this is anything but a Bee Simulator.

too mechanically dull, repetitive, and tonally infantile (especially in the voice acting, most of which sounds like a particularly condescending adult reading a children's book out loud) for me to bother finishing even at its very short length

Game crashed on launch every time, had to go to forums for a fix.

Tutorial was impossible to beat because game recognized L2 but not R2 on PS4 controllers. Had to download an xbox-controller emulator.

Game was still trash, lost interest immediately.

Frankly i would never buy this, but i got it in a HB bundle and i was super surprised when i played it.
it's a very little fun experience being a bee and doing all kind of bee-stuff.

You also get to learn a lot about bees as well, so it's actually a fun game.
Any 4year old will have a blast playing it (along with you).

Nice enjoyable game.
If you're looking for relaxing then go for easy mode where you don't really need to do much but fly around with a few clicks here and there. For more of a challenge, then try hard mode where you have to actually try in order to move forward in the story.
Dialogue is clearly aimed towards younger gamers, but it's easy achievements.

One bad thing about this game, though, the saving sucks. Even if you wait for the auto save, sometimes (most of the time) when you restart your game you've lost some of your progress. Just kind of annoying but nothing big.

Very cute game and easy to get all achievements as well.
Opening the game was a bit of a work since I had to exit the game few times before it would start properly.
Also, the controller didn't work in some parts of the game and couldn't get the annoying vibrations off.
The bee is a bit drunk while flying in chase missions but you get used to it eventually.
It was fun to explore the open world area and do different mission so I'll say yes to the game!

A very cute and beautiful game.

Quite a short story-line, but that is more than I expected from a sim anyways. I liked that is was not dragged out but rather a fun play-it-yourself documentary about bees and their life.

I first saw Bee Simulator on the Epic Games Store and had intended to buy at some point last year. Lucky for me it later arrived on Steam and I brought it during the autumn sale. I must admit I was taken back on how expansive the game is. You have quite the area to roam as a humble bumble bee.

Just like a bee you collect pollen, dance with other bees, battle wasps, find other bees in distress, crawl on floors and surfaces and race others in this vibrant world. There is quite a fair amount to unlock so replayability is not an issue. Which is good since the game is quite short.

The voice acting borderlines on the wholesome to downright cheesiness. The music is pleasant and I haven’t yet found it repetitive. There’s an offline co-op feature but I haven’t been able to play it with anyone yet. Steam achievements for this game does not work which is a shame, but not a deal breaker for me. I have to admit the loading times are shocking, probably because I’m still on a HDD.

Even so the game is really fun for what is basically targeted for a younger audience. I recommend Bee Simulator if you want something completely different but also want a fun gaming experience as well.

Now release the bees! ????????????

Its a super cute and simple game, you learn bee facts and even have side quests you can do. I love bees and honestly found this game to be fun and relaxing as well as beautifully done. The scenery is gorgeous as you buzz around collecting pollen. The only thing I would like to see added would be a longer main story line or more quests and stories for the hive. Either way, I love it.

A cute little game. It's not the best game out there, and not as good as it should be, but good enough that I can recommend it.

Cons -
1. The voiceovers in this game, for the bees and other animals, are quite baby-ish; from an adult point-of-view, this is a minus, for kids, though, I think this would be appealing. The voiceover for the bee you play as is pretty good, though, so it's not too bad.

2. Humans just sound really weird....there are humans everywhere in this game, in free roam, but they're a disappointment, because:
1. They don't talk, whenever you fly close enough to them, you hear them just making these really weird mumbling noises, it's a really strange thing to listen to....to give you an example, ever watched the old TV show 'Chowder,' about that purple kid that loves eating and cooking? Well, there's a character in there called Schnitzel, and the only way he talks is by making noises like 'Rada rada rada.' Well, that's a lot what people in this game sound like.
And 2. Coupled with that first one, they just make robotic hand movements or move in a way that doesn't make them look realistic. I mean, the way they look is good enough, but considering this game came out this year, where game developing in general has come a long way, I really think they could have done a little bit better of a job than this, at least with their movements and sound....

3. Story is too short. There's nothing better in a game than having a good long story that keeps you entertained for a long time. The story plot in this game is good and engaging, even teaches you some good life lessons about the bees, and why they are so important, but it's too short, it should have gone on for much longer.

4. Steam achievements are totally bugged. I know without a doubt that I've done a lot of things in this game that should have given me the steam achievements, but it says I haven't even completed a single one of them. ?????????? Hope this gets fixed soon. Not the worst problem out there, but still annoying...

Pros -
1. Flight. The flying in this game is just stunning. Panoramic views as you fly up down, forwards and back in all directions (you can even crawl around up walls and upside down on the ceiling, and fly upside down), making it a great little game to come to, for all ages, if you feel you need to de-stress; flying around as a little bee in free roam is very relaxing :) And it's fun, too, you can fly so fast, too, especially when you make sharp turns! ^_^

2. Character customization. I love this feature in games ^_^ You wouldn't think there would actually be the option to customize the look of your character in a game where you play as a bee, but there is ^_^ Not only can you change the look of your bee, you can also choose what pattern trails out behind you when you fly fast (or choose not to have one at all), or give your bee cute little hats (like a little pirate hat, mining hat, or headphones, etc.), it's adorable ^_^

3. Good storyline. Even though the story is short, it's, again, good and engaging. It teaches you good life lessons on why bees are so important, and just leaves you with a good feeling inside, by the end of it :) You, as the bee, start out as a pollen gatherer, but when the existence of your home is threatened, you go out in search of a new home for your hive.

4. Side-quests, discoveries and collectibles to find in free roam. There's exciting things to do in free roam, even when the story ends. From different types of side-quests (like fighting hostiles like wasps and hornets; there's no blood in combat, which is really good), to gathering pollen and stinging and chasing away obnoxious bullies that stomp on flowers :D Completing these quests gives you 'knowledge points,' which you can spend in the character customization, to unlock looks for your bee :) There are also lots of animals and plants you can find in free roam, that, when interacted with and discovered, unlocks interesting info about them in a book called the 'Glossary.' And more, in free roam :) And also, free roam is MASSIVE, which is a big bonus :)

5. Beautiful soundtrack. The soundtrack when flying around in free roam is just beautiful and very relaxing to listen to. And when you go into 'Beemode' (when you go into this mode, your eyesight changes to a hexagonal view, the way a bee would see things, and all plants that can be gathered are highlighted in a specific colour, depending on their rarity, making it easier for them to spot and identify), the soundtrack becomes more subtle and muffled, making it sound kinda dreamy and beautiful :)

Overall, I would recommend this game to people of all ages, but especially to kids, due to the majority of voice-overs being quite childish, a bit too childish for adult liking. But free roam is still awesome, which is why I recommend this game to people of all ages! :)

However, this game is way too overpriced, it shouldn't be the price that it is, around $40. I waited till there was a sale, and got it at half price, around $20, and that's really more like what this game is worth, it's not a terrible game, but not good enough that it should be $40. Just too little content.

absolute garbage dumpster fire you need cognitive function of a 9 month old child to play this game. there is only one thing you do in this game, and it is similar to life, endless circling and jumping thru hoops for your master. 0/10. save the bees.

No controller support. Developers first claimed they had no problem with the controller during their testing. Then after ignoring multiple reports of the controllers not working, they finally released a statement saying they are working on it. They haven't given any updates on when. I have purchased too many games with promises on fixes that were never delivered, so from experience I know what the outcome is when there are unresponsive developers involved. Will gladly update this review if the issue is fixed or at least a developer response as to when. The price point is way too high for developers to ignore paying customers, this is all too common on steam these days.

this game wasn't for me :( i had very high hopes for this game, it was on my wish list for about 8 months. i am a beekeeper so i was very much looking forward to this.

the game is awesome for children and people looking for a small silly game to play,
to me the voice acting was a little cheesy, and there were a lot of bee puns

i was expecting a true bee simulator, this isn't it.
its very educational and good for teaching, you can race other bees, fight wasps and dance.
the world is very pretty and the devs did a good job building the world,

I wish I liked this game more but i don't. i do recommend this game its great for what it is but its not for me.

Another instance of wishing Steam had a side-ways thumb option. This would be a fine game for young kids, and as a bee keeper myself, I appreciate the devs obvious enthusiasm towards honeybees and attention to detail when it comes to the pleasant art and information during the opening cutscene. The models for assorted insects are also pretty sharp.

But as far as a game goes, theres not much here, and its far and away from a simulator. I think the subject at hand would have been better served as a real time strategy game playing as a colony considering hives behave as super-organisms. There would also be a lot more justification for disseminating cool information about bees and their social structure throughout the game instead of just dumping it all in the beginning and opting for an arcade experience for the rest of it.

Just finished playing the main story on hard mode all the way through as soon as the game came out and haven't finished collecting everything the game has to offer.

First off, I think the game has potential to appeal to more hardcore gamers especially with the different mechanics (fighting is honestly super fun, but gets boring as it becomes repetitive). I can imagine some sort of skill tree or stat progression so you can potentially fight another hornet or another species. There is also room for online multiplayer, but that may be asking too much.

Second, I bought the game while it's on sale for $20.99 and I think I had to reach to justify this purchase while it's on sale. I can only imagine how poorly this game would sell when it's not on sale (I've seen it's going to be listed for $40 and I would never buy it for $40).

Lastly, if you find yourself justifying this game's purchase, the main story takes 2-4 hours to complete depending on how fast you're trying to complete the game and if you decide to avoid side quests. The skins are super cool (I got the CyBee one) and I'll take time to go back and complete side quests to see if it helps justify the pricing.

The game is made for children and if you go in with a childlike mindset, it's enjoyable. However, this is only after you justify the game's price and take a dive into Bee-dom.

Overall a solid 6.5/10, I slightly recommend.

P.S. I forgot to mention some of the issues with the camera when you fly close to objects (ground, rocks, trees, etc.) so you might have an issue with trying to fly too fast.
